Fall brings some of the year’s highest tides to St. Augustine, and when combined with the bad weather we had, they can cause temporary street flooding in low-lying areas of the historic district. These conditions are outside anyone’s control and usually clear within a few hours as the tide recedes. The home and its parking space remain accessible during king tides, but we understand how a few flooded streets disrupted your plans. The home sits in the heart of the historic district, close to the city’s sights, shops, and restaurants, and is a great place to be for Nights of Lights. For parking, street parking is usually available for unloading, which can save a trip with luggage, and we provide a dedicated spot so you always have somewhere to park, even when the streets get busy during Nights of Lights.
