Prime~ Location! Location! Downtown Gatlinburg!~Walk Everywhere
Casually stroll down by the creek into Downtown Gatlinburg. The 3-bedroom townhouse is just a 7-minute walk to the Parkway, the main thoroughfare of downtown Gatlinburg.
The Guinness World Records Adventure, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, thrill rides, restaurants, mini golf, shops, and more are all practically outside your front door. There’s also a trolley stop just outside the Gatlinburg Village complex, but you probably won’t need it—that’s how close you’ll be to the action.
A 3-floor townhouse that sleeps 8, Gatlinburg Village 505 is as perfectly suited for 3 couples vacationing together as it is for a family.
Each of Gatlinburg Village 505’s 3 bedrooms features a private bathroom and a king-size bed—there’s no short straw when it comes to choosing bedrooms here. And because each bedroom is on a different floor, you’ll have always-welcome privacy. The downstairs suite is the most private: It’s the only room on that floor, aside from the washer/dryer area (yes, Gatlinburg Village 505 has its own private laundry facilities—how convenient is that?). Similarly, the loft consists exclusively of a sleeping area and a bathroom.
It’s almost like sleeping in a luxery treehouse!
Open and spacious, the living/dining area on the main floor was furnished with both comfort and style in mind. Thanks to the roll-arm sofa and the generously sized armchairs, the whole gang can sit and sip après-ski drinks by the fireplace or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV with cable.
The screened-in porch is sure to be another favorite gathering spot. Its large, well-cushioned sectional sofa is delightfully comfortable, the roof helps keep the area cool even during the heat of summer, and the huge screened window lets you listen to the birds singing in the trees while keeping away pesky flying insects. Next to the screened-in porch is an open balcony, ideal for a spot of stargazing before bed. As you revel in the fresh mountain breeze rustling through the trees, you can easily forget that Gatlinburg Village is so close to downtown.
Back indoors, the dining table seats 6 people. Given how many restaurants are just a quick stroll away, you’ll probably use the table more for playing board games or working on your laptop (Gatlinburg Village 505 has free WiFi) than for enjoying meals. If you do want to eat in, however, you’ll have a fully equipped kitchen in which to work your culinary magic. Refrigerator/freezer, oven/stove, microwave, coffeemaker, pots, pans, tableware—you name it, the kitchen has it. All you have to supply are food and an appetite.
And working up an appetite won’t be difficult. For one thing, the Gatlinburg Village complex has its own outdoor pool, which you’ll have free access to during the summer. For another, there’s a bevy of activities just beyond the townhouse’s front door. As we mentioned earlier, Gatlinburg Village is only a half-mile from downtown. The Guinness World Records Adventure, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, thrill rides, shops, mini golf, a 2-story arcade, restaurants, and more are all within walking distance—and if you’re too tired to walk, the complex happens to be right on a trolley line. Just a 5-minute drive from the townhouse is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with its waterfalls, hiking and biking trails, wildflowers, and wildlife ranging from elk to bears.
Equally close is Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area; in fact, a tram can carry you from the Parkway up over the town to the park. Only slightly farther afield is the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Loop, an 8-mile trail of more than 100 galleries, studios, and shops. Even the attractions of Pigeon Forge, including Dollywood and the Titanic Museum, are no more than a half-hour’s drive away.
When it comes to location, comfort, and convenience, Gatlinburg Village 505 is tough to beat. That’s why you should reserve your stay today… before someone else beats you to it!
Please note: We provide a traditional coffee maker and pot and a Keurig for your convenience. Also note that we do not provide any food items such as salt, pepper, sugar, creamer for the health and safety of our guests.
