We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Point Loma Heights. The property had a lot of privacy and has been nicely renovated. We were within walking distance from Barnes Tennis Center and Ocean Beach. The YMCA is a couple of blocks away. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning cooled the place down during some hot afternoons. The property manager provided excellent communication and was very responsive.

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay here! The kitchen was nicely updated and the beds were all very comfortable (pillows could maybe use a little work though!). :) Laundry machines were super convenient after a long day at the beach. Good location to get around San Diego.

Nice clean 2 bedroom apartment in a very central location. Important to note that you share walls and a backyard area with other guests, so it can be noisy. Great kitchen utensils and pans.

Hi Lilly! Thank you so much for a good review. For any guests reading this, it is rarely as loud as it was for Lilly. I do apologize about that. I had a family member staying there during the Holidays and we had a New Year’s Eve party. Normally guests that use the shared space are much quieter and are asleep early! Thank you again for staying! :)

This property is wonderful!! We went deep sea fishing and it was only about a 10 minute drive, which was great for our fishing tour at 6:00am. We are a family of 6, mom, dad, daughter,SIL, 2 gdkds 16 and 12. Mom and dad slept on the couch and love seat. This place would work better for a family of mom, dad and 4 kids. Only one bathroom was a little tight for 6. But I knew all of this when I booked it. We rented for 2 nights so we had a place to go after fishing. But only stayed one night. Very nice courtyard, the second bed room had a twin over full and a roll out twin. Better for 4 kids. We would book again!!

Great Apt in San Diego!

The apartment was excellent. It was fully equipped and beautifully furnished. All the furniture and kitchen appliances were in great condition and looked almost brand new. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The couch was definitely the highlight of the apartment. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. I would definitely stay here again!

This cute and clean apartment has everything you need! We stayed for a week and cooked most meals in the updated kitchen that has all the necessary cooking supplies. There's a beach bag with towels that's really helpful. The bunk bed with trundle worked great for our 4 kids. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay here! Very clean and fresh (appears recently remodeled), extremely comfortable beds, and excellent location. Used the grill and kitchen supplies- very clean as well. Enjoyed the front patio in the mornings with total privacy. Quick drive to basically all San Diego attractions. Quiet neighbors and neighborhood. Laundry worked great, tv had all streaming we wanted. Very responsive host. The whole family was comfortable and felt very relaxed here as we rested from all our San Diego adventures.

my stay was quite acceptable, everything that needed for my stay was available. I attempted to work from the space and write, but at times it became quite difficult to concentrate (day and night). i did not realize i would be located in the flight path of all the commercial flights in and out of San Diego. i am glad that i rented a small car, i would never have gotten my large truck in and out.

Property was as advertised, clean and we enjoyed what it had to offer for amenities and for comfort. Sam was very quick to respond with questions and offered some tips and ideas for things to do and places to go for the 10 days we were there. In suite laundry was great to have especially if spending time at the beach (which we did on multiple days). Met Sam on a few occasions while we were there and he was very friendly and helpful to ensure our stay was enjoyable. There is plane noise during the day (flight path from airport) but not through the night (until 6:30am) so they must change flight path at night or increase altitude quicker. Quite honestly, you do get used to the plane noise quite quickly. A note to Sam to make sure to note (if not already in guest check in sheet) to the 2nd level guests to be respectful to those below regarding noise. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thank Sam for being a great host!

This condo is exactly how it looks in the pictures. It was extremely clean when we arrived. Communication with the host was easy and he was always available and checking in with us. The location is great, you're at most about 15 minutes away from all the big things in the SoCal area. Grocery stores and gas stations are all conveniently located as well. I will say if you're sensitive to noise please note that you do hear airplanes taking off or landing pretty consistently but I'm not going to fault the property for this as that's the case for nearly all of the properties you'll stay at in this area. We were a family of five traveling with two adults and three children aged 12, 11, and 9. We had enough space for all of us and enjoyed our time. We would definitely stay here again.

Thanks for the review Kathleen! Quick note for future reference - we are in the quieter home program through the airport and will have noise cancelling windows installed hopefully by next Summer! That should help a lot with the airplane noise. Thanks again for staying with us!
