"Happy Place" was recently completely rebuilt top to bottom, including all new amenities and furnishings! Then in 2019 "Happy Place" invested in the "TESLA POWERWALL" Solar System, which creates clean, renewable, power from the sun and benefits our environment. This alternative to fossil fuels lessens our carbon footprint by reducing greenhouse gases.. Our contribution toward a favorable impact on the environment.
Located high up on the rocks, great ocean breezes are the norm but for the calm days every room is equipped with large ceiling fans. To ensure your comfort, a super quiet A/C is installed in the bedroom with its Queen Size Simmons bed and en-suite bathroom with dual vanity sinks and walk in glass enclosed shower. Enjoy Broadband internet with WIFI, full cable TV, incl. HBO, etc. and a flat screen "smart" TV. The open floor plan boasts dining and living areas and a full service kitchen with gas range, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker & toaster. The new custom made cabinets hold an array of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, basic spices and more, to facilitate cooking. There is a full capacity washer and dryer for your convenience.
The covered balcony, may be your favorite room, with it's gas BBQ and patio furniture for just comfortably enjoying that incredible panorama view.
When you leave for and return from your daily adventures, you will enjoy your own private palm lined parking and covered entry all alone on the "Happy Place" level. Beach chairs, towels and an ice chest are ready to accommodate your daily excursions. COME! ENJOY! and let it be Your "Happy Place" in paradise.

Our California home had a beautiful view of the Pacific but our lives in the civilized world were corporate encrusted, freeway driven, and mall dominated. When a business opportunity arose in the year 2000, we took a leap of faith, traded our Pacific Ocean Catalina Island view for a view of Caribbean Sea islands, including St Croix, and a less complicated not so 'civilized' island life.. This beautiful paradise called St. John is a wonderful place to be. We like to tell first time visitors to the island: "Not many people come to St. John, just once!" It's true.

These boulders and rock cliffs that make up the property provide quite a unique setting. "Happy Place" was completely refurbished in 2016 to be attractive to guests who value their pricacey and insist on nicely appointed and comfortable accommodations but are also budget conscious. "Happy Place" is the ideal choice for the informed island visitors who prefer to spend their time and budget at the 35 beautiful beaches and on the pristine waters that make the island such a famous place, instead of, at the villa or resort pool. Unlike apartment buildings and condo complexes, it offers the luxury and convenience of your personal parking area at your very private entrance.

It is around the hill and away from the hustle bustle of the village of Cruz Bay but conveniently located, a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk, to town. Total renovation just completed in January 2016. Everything, inside and out, is brand new!
