Enjoy Folly from a quaint spot 1 block from the beach, and 1 block from Center Street!

Pets welcome! Please note, there is a $100 non-refundable pet fee.

The unit is located only one block from Center St. and right behind Bert's Market - the local award winning grocer and deli. It has one bedroom, a pull out sofa in the living room, and a full kitchen and bath. Linens - including beach towels - are provided. It is equipped with Direct TV, Netflix and WiFi. This is a great little spot for a couple or a family with small children to enjoy Folly from!

In addition to the bungalow there is a communal outdoor kitchen, with gas fireplace and outdoor tv with cheerful cafe lights.

There are also a variety of communal beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys.

We are locals, but our units are setup to be as DIY as possible. Rest assured, we are available should you have any issues or questions!

Folly Beach is an eclectic barrier island town to Historic Charleston. Artist, musicians, surfers and regular folk abound. Folly is a place that prides herself on welcoming people from all walks of life.

The bungalow is located only one block from Center st, where the shops and restaurants are and is right behind Bert's Market! So pretty much everything is in walking distance. If you want to explore the island further, renting a golf cart or beach cruising bicycle is a good option. Uber, your car or a rental can be used to travel off island to Charleston or Johns Island.

Bert's Market can stock the unit with groceries with no service fee.

Also worth noting is do not walk or ride a bicycle on Ashley Ave when possible- it can be a busy rd during the summer that folks drive too fast on.

There are a few great playgrounds on the island at 5th East and 5th West. There is also a dog park at 5th East.

I was very impressed by this property overall. It’s right where you wanna be on Folly Beach you can walk to the beach walk to the Main St., Bert‘s market is right next-door. Chico feio is right across the street. Great little place. Highly recommend.

This property is wonderful for many reasons. We love being this close to the beach and birds market and all the shops. It is a quick walk to the beach and it is a lovely little first floor apartment that fits three people comfortably. We have stayed here a couple times and their other units. Also very easy to deal with Julia and Omar. We will come again.

Old school beach apartments...easy walk to the ocean or downtown. Across the street from a popular bar with live music so be aware. Fun place but nothing fancy.

This is our second stay here and we are pleased. Comfortable and close to the beach. A short walk to restaurants and shops on Center St. We travel with our two little dogs and this property is perfect for them. The reserved parking spot is a bonus!

Great Stay & Location

We really enjoyed getting away for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. The place was well sized for a couple traveling alone. Great location right behind Bert’s Market so a short walk to the beach and everywhere else in Downtown Folly. Would stay again!

Best location in Folly.

To be able to walk into Bert's every morning for a coffee and catch the sunrise was priceless Small but was able to cook a thanksgiving dinner

Nice property and close to the beach!

Perfect for my husband, myself and two little dogs. Short walk to the beach, restaurants and Bert’s Market is right next to the property. We will stay here again.

Great location a blocks walk to the beach and restaurants. Good price point. Clean, good mattress. Parking was a huge plus. Would stay here again.

Our family lives right here- we have stayed in and enjoyed each unit with our children over the years. We have three girls and and two boys. In addition to the rentals we run the local grocery market on the island (Bert's Market) and recently opened up a boutique recording studio (Fairweather Studio). We love to travel around our beautiful country camping along the way as well as riding atv's, surfing, kayaking, painting ect. Omar and the children are passionate about music.
