This was a great place to stay in Florence. The location is perfection and the room itself was comfortable and spacious. It’s absolutely walkable from the train station, even with luggage (about 15 minutes, and mildly uncomfortable). The key situation was a little testy, but I think that’s normal for these Italian buildings. The concierge gave us good tips to get them to work.

Thank you for your lovely review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed the apartment’s perfect location and found the room spacious and comfortable. We’re glad you also appreciated the concierge’s assistance and helpful tips. Historic Italian buildings can sometimes have particularities when it comes to their locks and keys, so we’re pleased our concierge was able to help you resolve the issue. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Florence in the future!

The loft is exactly as shown in the listing. It was very clean, comfortable, and the location is excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.The only thing to keep in mind is that the listing mentions both a washer and dryer, but the unit only has a dryer. Other than that, everything was exactly as described and we had a great experience.

Amazing location. The air conditioning was so appreciated. The only thing I would mention is that the furniture is awful. There really is only one bed up in the loft but it’s very comfortable. The sofa bed looks iffy. We didn’t open it. There is a broken table and another small dining table. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looks fine.

Great location and apartment was exactly as advertised in the listing. Having the washer for laundry was great. Communication and check in process was smooth and easy. If you have any mobility issues you may have issues with the stairs to the apartment and getting to the loft but it wasn’t an issue for us. Only negative was that the loft air conditioning unit dripped water onto the kitchen table and it hon on some of our stuff over night. We didn’t notice it until the morning. We put a bowl under it and it caught it for the remainder of the stay. Another plus was the abundance of hot water in the shower. We wood stay there again when returning to Florence.

Thank you so much for your detailed review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the great location, found the apartment as advertised, and appreciated the washing machine, smooth communication, and easy check-in process. We’re sorry about the air conditioning unit dripping onto the kitchen table. We understand how inconvenient it must have been to discover that water had reached some of your belongings, and we appreciate your patience in managing the situation during your stay. We will have the unit checked to address the issue properly. It’s wonderful to hear that you would stay with us again. We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back to Florence!

We got in later than expected, and I was having issues with my phone. fortunately Otas showed up at the pre-appointed time around five o'clock and let us into the room. There are three locks to access the room on the third floor. The main door, the gate to the 2nd floor and finally a skeleton key for the room door. If Otis hadn't made us unlock the doors ourselves, we would have been convinced we had the wrong keys. The locks are tricky. Also the room is three or four flights up. There is a loft for the main bed and a sofa bed if needed on the main floor. Washing machine with detergent was provided, but as usual in Italy, no dryer.Enjoyed our stay, centrally located near the Ponte Vechio bridge.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the central location near Ponte Vecchio. We understand that the multiple locks and keys can take a little getting used to, and we appreciate you highlighting this. We’ll consider providing clearer instructions to make access easier for future guests. We’re also happy that you found the washing machine and detergent useful. As you noted, dryers are not always available in historic Italian properties, but we’re glad the washing facilities were helpful during your stay. Thank you again for choosing our property and for your helpful feedback. We hope to welcome you back to Florence in the future!
