Excellent location right in the heart of Florence. Angela had left information on best places to eat and shop which we found really helpful. Loved the artwork on display in all the main rooms, she clearly has excellent taste. Drawbacks- broken head board in one of the bedrooms, not enough comfy chairs in the living room, only accommodated two people, certainly not 3/4 and the smell in the outside passageway and stair well- horrid smell of drains, which fortunately we were not aware of in the flat itself. She made us very welcome and we had a wonderful family holiday. We ate out for every meal, not sure how a family wanting to eat in would fare.

Dear Alexander, Thanks for your review. I’m happy you have appreciated our suggestions and the location of the apt. About your drawbacks, I would like to answer you back: The head board was definitely not broken: it was just detached from the wall and it would have take 2 min to hang it back correctly; The small of drains in the passageway was due to some works in the building, so was temporary; The chairs were not comfortable: they are typical Tuscan chairs and nobody was unhappy with it; You say that the apt is not comfy for 3/4 people: honestly, as you can see also from the other reviews, the 90% of our guests were family of 4 people and absolutely nobody complained about it. Anyways, thanks for staying with us, and I hope you enjoyed Florence! :) All the best Angela and Francesca

A week in Firenze

5 days of priceless sites

The apt was clean, well equipped and had all that we needed. It was in a terrific location, a short walk to most of the attractive sites in Florence. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed our time there. The bathroom, shower and beds were small but adequate.

Wonderful apartment in Florence

The apartment was perfect for our stay (myself and teenaged daughter). It was cozy, full of art, lots of fresh towels and extra blankets. Angela was a lovely host. We brought ear plugs and did use them a couple of nights because the area is popular and close to everything. We will be visiting Florence again and will stay here again.
