Près de la grange et du lac Susan avec ruisseau dans la cour!

Bienvenue au Jones Cottage sur Kentucky Road; les lits seront faits à votre arrivée. En 1990, la résidence a été «éviscérée» et repensée par un architecte de Knoxville pour une vie à la fois décontractée et amusante. Situé à quelques pas de la grange, du lac Susan et du Huckleberry. Cette résidence devrait figurer sur votre "liste restreinte" pour de nombreuses raisons, notamment la beauté du ruisseau dans cette cour arrière! La grande terrasse peut accueillir 20 personnes pour un repas ou est un endroit parfait pour une sieste ou pour se blottir avec un bon livre. Nous laisserons les photos parler d'elles-mêmes.

Relaxing Mountain Stay

charming cottage - great location

The cottage was cozy and charming. Through the screen doors, you can hear the creek, which we loved! This is an ideal location in Montreat—you can walk out the door and be at Lake Susan in three minutes. It was a wonderful weekend getaway.

Wonderful!

We were in Montreat for a conference. The house is in a lovely setting backing the mountain creek and is very convenient to the conference center. It was very clean, very well maintained, and had top quality amenities. We’re planning to return!

Cozy Family Retreat

The perfect spot for a family getaway! Super cozy and conveniently located near hiking trails, picnic spots and Black Mountain. Cozy beds, stocked kitchen and awesome outdoor area with creek in the backyard.

Beautiful Montreat Cottage

Jones Cottage

My family has enjoyed Montreat annually for what will soon be three decades, and the Jones Cottage has become our place of choice. The location is convenient and delightful with the babbling brook behind the cottage. Its restful living room, the well-equipped kitchen, the spacious veranda and gazebo -- all make for a very pleasant visit that the whole family can enjoy together.

Bills house is perfect for family . It`s right on the creek which was a lot of fun. The house has everything you need and is very comfortable.Bill and his wife were very helpful in answering any questions we had and easy to reach.

Perfect retreat!

We found the perfect place to get away yet still lay low for a much needed Covid break. Loved the house - especially the kitchen. We were able to hike right from the house most days. Lots to do while socially distancing. Great communication with Meg.

Just Right

Rain or shine this cottage has it all: warmest hospitality must run in the veins of the owners of this lovely, happy place. It has a livable, welcoming spirit with comfort in every room plus a creek rushing along the back that says welcome, come stay, enjoy yourselves. We did and hope to be back soon. Another great visit!

With much appreciation to our thoughtful hosts, we have loved another stay in your wonderful, charming, welcoming home. It's filled with a sense of happy times shared, inside and out, comfortable places to read, picnic and have fun together while Flat Creek rushes by. (A first rate kitchen matters too!) Location is another huge plus: easy walks to the best of Montreat, short drives to the Blue Ridge Parkway or Asheville. It has also, always, been a place of peace and rest for us. We are so grateful.

Fantastic and Welcoming Home in Montreat

Bill and Margie's home in Montreat is not only comfortable and beautiful, but it is also a perfect place for a vacation for all ages. The home is in a serene and lovely area in Montreat close to Lake Susan and near enough to Black Mountain to enjoy restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed family time playing games, reading, and cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Most of all we enjoyed taking in the beauty of the mountains. The house has a wonderful outdoor space as well. Bill and Margie were incredibly welcoming, and we were so appreciative of their hospitality. We highly recommend this lovely home and hosts.
