Cet appartement récemment rénové se trouve dans les quartiers du capitaine Ämsterdam Houthavens "du cargo. C'est un endroit douillet, romantique et confortable. Le salon dans la cabine de pilotage du capitaine au-dessus du pont offre une belle vue à 360 degrés sur le vieux Amsterdam Houthavens (port de bois), l'IJ (la principale voie navigable menant au port) et la ville. Sous le pont, il y a une zone de couchage séparée; une salle à manger / salon avec une petite kitchenette, mais entièrement équipée; et salle de bain avec douche et WC.
Toutes les commodités sont neuves. Il y a une connexion Internet. L'appartement a sa propre entrée, une terrasse avec un chaudron à feu / barbecue à l'ancienne et une deuxième terrasse. Il a un sentiment d'espace et il y a une mer de tranquillité. Un endroit idéal pour se détendre et regarder les navires de toutes tailles et les cygnes passer pendant que le bateau bascule doucement.
, c'est un excellent moyen d'explorer Amsterdam à travers les canaux !!

A Perfect Week on a Charming Houseboat

We had an absolutely wonderful stay on this charming houseboat! The space was cozy, clean, and full of character—such a unique and peaceful way to spend a week. Our host was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Amazing Stay in Amsterdam

Lovely stay in houseboat

Had a great couple of nights staying on the Dana. It was cosy and was great to be able to sit inside and cozy whilst watching the rain outside haha. Very comfy bed and friendly owner who even gave us more beer when we were out ;-) Would stay again.

Great place to stay

This is not your run of the mill accommodation. If you’re looking for something different from hotels in a great location, this is it. I think of all the places I’ve rented over the years all over the world, this is in my top 3. The owner Margriet is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Amsterdam.

Riverboat Stay

Great location with easy and free ferry access within a quick walk. Host is very kind and easy to talk to. Would stay again next time in Amsterdam.

Distinctive!

Dana (one of her names!) was very friendly and hospital. Very nice setting at end of a long pier, but near NDSN ferry. Worth a try!

Great Boat House Experience

Dana is a great host and the location is spectacular if you want to tour the Jordan or be close to the Centraal station.We previously lived on our own small boat so were prepared for the continuous motion and the up an down on the ladder.

Beautiful views

Wonderful views from the boat on a quiet dock. The host was very accommodating and responsive to questions. Proximity to ferries was nice and we enjoyed the experience of staying on a boat in Amsterdam.

An Incredible Stay on a Beautiful Boat

This house boat is what dreams are made of. Clean, cozy, and incredibly comfortable; I don't think I've ever slept so well. Dana is an absolute gem and incredibly helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!

House boat review

It was a perfect location and Dana was a joy to meet and beyond kind to me and my partner. We had no trouble with sea sickness and everything was a 20 minute walk away. We loved the view, the location, and the boat itself and would stay again if given the chance.

Highly recommend!

We had a great stay on the houseboat - highly recommend to anyone considering! Dana was a wonderful host - very easy to communicate with, thoughtful, generous, and very interesting to chat with. She is very knowledgeable about the area and has great suggestions as well as insights on local history. The boat is more well connected to the city center than you'd expect (a short bus ride from the central station and multiple bus options). If we ever visit again we'd definitely stay here again!

We stayed here to visit Amsterdam for 2.5 days & we could not have been more pleased! the location was incredible, very different than normal hotels - which made it even better! The owner was the best part; she was so helpful, pleasant & I wish I could have stayed longer just to hang out with her! We aren’t people that like to do the same experience 2x, but we would do this again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Weekend in Amsterdam

We had the pleasure of staying at Houseboat Dana for a long weekend. Not only was it cosy, clean and comfortable, but the location was also close to tram/ ferry stops. Dana was the most generous and helpful host we’ve ever had. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a romantic weekend in Amsterdam.

Great time on the Dana

My husband and I stayed for several days and it was a perfect adventure. We wanted something other than another hotel stay and we got it! Very cozy, well appointed, and a great location. Between the ferries (5 min walk) and the train station (20 min walk), we had everything we needed to get around. Host was incredibly helpful in sharing information. Would absolutely stay again.

Houseboat

Very fun experience on the houseboat we loved the perch up top for sipping wine and chatting/napping under the sun/rainy sky one day it was so very relaxing. The free ferry is a quick walk away to get into central Amsterdam.

Great experience on a Boathouse!

Dana’s boathouse is perfectly situated, close to Amsterdam Central Station and the city centre. Well equipped, if you want to eat small meals on the boat and enjoy the wonderful view of the canal. Dana is a very nice person and available for your questions and needs. I recommend!

This was a very fun and special stay on a houseboat!

The owner of the boat made this experience exceptional. The boat is very clean, well equipped and pleasant to stay on. I was worried about it being heated- it was warm! Plenty of hot water in the shower as well. I enjoyed sleeping in wheelhouse- it poured rain one night and I loved hearing that. My husband preferred the sleeping quarters below as it was more quiet . We really enjoyed meeting Dana- she’s charming!!!

Griet's ship is wonderful located, on the verge of the centrum. So you can reach the city quite easy and simple by foot. Simultaneously it's possible to enjoy the loneliness, silence and relaxation at the ship and it's environment. The apartment is - in respect of the exceptional offer of such a ship, this reconsidering - complete suitable. The landlady also live in this ship. She is very nice, adjuvant and regardful, she's a really open, pleasant communicative and tolerant, liberal person. Thank you, Griet, that we could have been your guest. Always a pleasure!

Perfect! Just book it!

My daughter and I had the best time. The houseboat is super cozy and so beautiful. We had a bit of a bad luck with the weather but staying on the houseboat made it so much more fun as you could stay up in the captains quarters and enjoy a beautiful view instead of being stuck in a hotel room. My daughter got bad cold and Dana was so helpful providing us with medicine, honey, herbs and tea. The bed was very comfortable and everything was super clean. The location was great as you are not in the midst of everything but still only a couple of bus stops away from the hustle and bustle. We slept so well since the bed was very comfortable and there was literally no noise from outside as there is no street going by. The kitchen and fridge are awesome as you don’t have to spent tons of money eating out but if you feel like it there are some good options in walking distance like a Thai place or a Turkish place and a great grocery store as well. I would definelty book another stay here! 100%!!!
