Great spot. Riu helped with an early check in since it was possible. Communication was great. Patio area was nice but hadn’t been washed down in a long time. Everything else was spot on.

Thank you David! Just a note for future guests: patio is washed everytime new guests arrive. By definition patio it is an exterior area and gets dusty easily. Ceramic suffers weather inclemency as well and may not look pristine like inside the unit.

This property was a great choice! The location is perfect and very walkable to amazing restaurants, bars, and the water! It felt very safe and the check in and out process was very easy. The apartment was very unique and had so much character. The bathroom is really small, but otherwise 10/10. Highly recommend this property!!

We loved the location and Mario was an absolute delight and extremely helpful with check-in and tips regarding the city.Only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower is awful. But other than that, everything was excellent! We really enjoyed our stay!

Everything was great. Flat has very limited natural light which makes sense in Lisbon’s hot climate but if you’re looking for views this might not be for you. Location is excellent and host met us and was very helpful.

Very close to restaurants and attractions. Grocery store 5 minutes away. Hosts were excellent and we were able to leave our bags in their office a few doors down, after we had checked out. Would stay here again. Thanks!

A great little apartment with local character and charm in the heart of Lisbon. Easy access to subway and restaurants and a very kind and helpful host. Highly recommend!

Great Stay in Great Lisbon Location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Pictures didn't do justice to this lovely, large flat. Though it's technically a studio, it feels like a one bedroom apartment. Extremely well located, quiet, well equipped. Mario was very helpful with advice on Lisbon. Don't hesitate to rent this apartment.

Great place great host great location!

What else can I say. From the moment we arrived Mario made everything very easy. He had a driver pick us up at the airport. He gave us a tour of the place. He reviewed a map with us and he was very responsive to all of our needs. His place was charming and in a great spot, right in the action. Definitely recommend this listing if you’re in Lisbon!

We loved it!

Our entire experience here was wonderful. The owner, Mario, arranged for us to be met at and returned to the airport - a stress-free experience. The flat is comfortable, well-equipped, and in a great location - close to terrific restaurants and shops, with supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, easy access to public transit, but also a good spot if you like to walk. Mario was promptly responsive to all our questions, both before our arrival and while we were there. We will definitely return. Thank you, Mario, for a memorable trip.

Central location close to everything !

Mario is great and is spot on with communication. Arranged our departure ride service which was unexpected and easy. Worked with us after our transfer from Porto ran late without any issue. Had details on the area for transportation and dining. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Sooo many restaurants and cafés within easy walking distance. Metro and tram 28 straight down the hill just a couple blocks. Local bar/restaurant 3 doors up for good food and a night cap if needed. Mini grocery market 100' down the street. Great for a couple. Great stay.

Loved this place!

The apartment looks exactly like the pictures, there are no surprises. We loved that the brick arches and tiled walls were saved during renovation. We had lots more room than a hotel and had everything we needed to set up housekeeping. There were many TV stations in English, we had heat and a/c which we did not need or use. We had a great shower with plenty of hot water . . . very important to three women! The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable . . . we had good and fast wifi. Mario has stocked the place with books, travel guides, maps . . . everything we needed to find out way around Lisbon. He told us what tram, bus, metro we needed to get to the various tourist sites. And, his office is right across the street in case we had additional questions or needed help. Yes, the heavy, wooden outside door was hard to unlock, we dealt with it. We felt very safe in this area . . . we were just blocks from Chiado Square and about 15 min. walking to Rossio Train Station. We were close to all kinds of public transportation and we had plenty of good eating places all around us. We could hear footsteps from the people upstairs but it did not bother us at all. All in all, this is a great place to stay, the price is a bargain, Mario is a gem, we would certainly stay here again and recommend it to our friends. We hope to return someday, Sandy (in Denton)
