The villa itself is lovely and represents good value. However, it does seem to be in a particularly windy location, adding some windbreaks boundary walls would make a huge difference?I'm not sure if we were just unlucky with the weather, but this area seemed noticeably windier and cloudier than Playa Blanca itself. And unfortunately, the wind meant the kids couldn't really enjoy simple activities outside, like card games. The pool was nice although both the pool and the surrounding outdoor area could benefit from a little maintenance.Considering the price, we felt the villa was good value. We've stayed in other villas that had extras such as table tennis and pool tables, but they are almost twice the price now. Given how windy it is here, I can understand why outdoor games aren't an option and there is an indoor dining table, and I wondered if this replaced the pool table, as eating outside can be challenging. One thing I do think should be made clearer in the property description is just how windy the outside area can be and it did affect our enjoyment. The walk into Playa Blanca is also quite long, so for evenings out you'll probably want to use a taxi or car. There are some nice restaurants closer to the villa, but again, the wind made sitting outside impossible.Overall, the villa was nice but the constant wind had a noticeable impact. If we'd known what to expect beforehand, or if there were better shelter from the wind, our experience would have been much better
