Stayed in July 2026 with a family of 4. The host was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. The place was intriguing as it is a historical building. There was so much room for all of us. The location was perfect for walking or taking the subway to visit different sites. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Excellent location away from the busy city center with plenty of restaurants and options. Loved being close to the gardens, where we spent our afternoons. Very walkable to all the main sights of Florence. Really enjoyed the courtyard in the evenings.

The host was very kind and responsive, and gave very clear check in instructions. The beds are pretty firm, and the pillows are on the flatter side. There was a good bit of dust in the air and quite a few cob webs. It rained while we were there, and the doors aren’t completely sealed so water leaked in on the floors.

The apartment was exactly how it was portrayed on the website. The host was fantastic and quick to respond. The location is only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Florence. Also the aircon was a lifesaver as it was over 100F the week we were there. We would definitely stay there again

Very cool historic house in a very nice neighborhood that sat at the base of the Piazza Michaelangelo and numerous restaurants. The house was very nice and it was a great experience.

The apartment is somewhat enchanting with the feel of antiquity in the exterior walls, juxtaposed with modern amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms. With very high ceilings, the owners built two lofts on either end of the property that has an open floor plan. The charm however, is also what leads to the only one minor caveat, which is that there’s really no soundproofing from room to room. But almost feels like you can speak quietly from one side and the other side will be able to hear you. In addition, there’s really no sound insulation in the ceilings with beautiful exposed old wood beams, but of course sound from the upstairs apartment is transmitted likewise. If you’re lucky enough to have standard guests above you, this is not really an issue, but we did have some disturbances from two or three young children who got up at early hours. In the end, however, even that experience didn’t detract from our overall very positive experience. We love the location, only two blocks from the Arno river, and in the much more desirable south bank away from the insanity of hyper tourism to the north of the river. Overall, highly recommend the place.

Linda, the host was great! The apartment was in a good location. Close to a bakery, restaurants, shops, and attractions. It is a 30 minute walk, or a 20 minute car ride to the main train station (Firenze S.M. Novella). It is on the quieter side of the river. It was handy to have a washer and drying racks. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice to have all linens provided, including bathroom towels. All appliances and basic kitchen needs were provided. We very much appreciated the air conditioning available throughout the apartment. Though there is only one bathroom (water closet). It was larger than the typical an European wash room, and the shower was American size. It should be noted that both bedrooms were up somewhat tricky staircases. The apartment is located on the second floor of the building. There is also a dog that likes to bark loudly at random times. We also experienced the neighbors playing music loudly with their windows open to the courtyard between the apartment units. Most nights were fairly quiet after 11pm. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there in Florence, and it made a good homebase for our travels in the area.

A beautiful apartment with rustic charm, yet with modern facilities. I stayed with my three children for a week and it was a great base for us all - the street is pretty quiet and it is a minute's walk from the bus stop; the city centre is about 20 mins away by foot. The apartment itself is super comfortable and has air conditioning. We all slept very well! Linda is an excellent host and very responsive. I particularly appreciated her bringing an ironing board to the flat so I could wear linen and cotton shirts in the hot weather we had! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, and very much hope we have the opportunity to return some time.

An Unforgettable Stay in Florence!

We had a wonderful experience staying at this apartment in Florence. It is a gem. The location was perfect, allowing us to walk everywhere. The neighborhood is hip and adjacent to the Giardino delle Rose and the Piazzale Michelangelo which offers a stunning panoramic view of Florence.The apartment was very spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. The interiors were a blend of modern and classic charm, with very tasteful furnishings, lofty ceilings, and large windows that filled the space with natural light.The host was responsive and helpful, answering all our questions promptly and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a centrally located, and stylish place to stay in Florence.

Diese außergewöhnliche Wohnung in einem alten Florentiner Stadthaus ist wunderbar gelegen in San Niccolò unweit des Piazzale San Michelangelo gelegen. Sie ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail modern saniert. Der Innenhof bietet eine angenehm große Terrasse direkt bei der Küche. Nette Lokale in der Via di San Niccolò. Sehr zuvorkommender Empfangund Service
