The property is amazing. We brought our own paddle-boards and it was so easy to put in from the floating dock. Three Sisters was so close. We paddled there mult times a day! They were safe when not in use. The owner next door was super sweet. The condo was spacious and clean. The host was very responsive. The location is perfect. It was very peaceful. I highly recommend. We didn’t want to leave.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Crystal River. The condo could have been a little cleaner. The bed wasn’t real comfortable. But it served its purpose of being a place to stay while we got our scuba certification.

We are disappointed that this guest left a 3 star review due to a guest next door being "irritating". Is it possible the guest next door also felt the same way?? We have a common backyard, so if you are friendly, and play well with others, this should not be an issue....Pete Vega Manatee Property Mgmt of CR

Quick getaway

Although the property is an older building it was clean and had what we needed for our stay. Great proximity to Three Sisters Springs and water access for our kayaks. Will consider staying here again if we return to the area.

Great stay in Crystal River

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was comfortable, and the location on the canal / near Three Sisters Springs was amazing. We also appreciated all the suggestions provided by the owner for things to do, restaurants, etc. We had delicious seafood with waterfront views at The Crab Plant and Waterfront Social during our stay. We definitely plan to go back!

thanks for the 5 star review....I wish this guest would have been more specific about the privacy comment. You have complete privacy in the unit (curtains and shades for all windows). Our fenced backyard is a common backyard for all guests staying at our location (we have 4 units). most guests enjoy interaction with others vacationing and enjoying the water, kayaks and manatees/wildlife that often visits our docks....Pete

The location was amazing! The check in process was great. The only complaint is that the top bunk bed was full of sand. It leads me to believe those sheets were not changed prior to our visit. Overall, the facilities were clean, accessible and accommodating.

Absolutely perfect! We were really surprised! It was bigger and better than we expected it from the photos and from the reviews (I checked it in advance on different platforms) Do not believe any negative comments about this place! We spent the best nights during our road trip there and we will definitely come back! One day Pete came to check something and took time to talk with us. If there would have been anything not perfect, he would have fixed it. We made several kayak trips. Once we saw dolphins hunting in the canal near Three Sisters Springs. And we saw several manatees. Perfect location to visit Three Sister Springs in the morning before the tourist tours arrive and in the evening after all the people are gone again. One time I even swam the distance instead of taking the kayak.

À propos de l’hôte

Hôte : Peter Vega

Image de profil de l’hôte
We like the laid back sleepy little town feel and fell in love with the areas springs, specifically Three Sisters. What started as a weekend get a way has turned into a wonderful place we are happy to share.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We chose Crystal River because I grew up close to the springs and remember swimming in them as a kid. I enjoyed frequent field trips and summer camps to see the manatees and swim in the springs. My first scuba trip was in King Springs, around the corner from our place. We hope you enjoy the area as much as we have....

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Crystal River is a quiet little town with plenty to offer. Three Sisters springs are beautiful and less than a 2 minute paddle from our back yard. On any given morning you can see manatees and dolphin swim by our dock, boat or paddle to waterfront restaurants and enjoy the nature preserve in Kings Bay. A 7 mile scenic boat ride takes you to the Gulf of Mexico where there is fantastic fishing, nature viewing and in the summer, scallop harvesting. You will enjoy near by Homosassa Wildlife Park and Indian burial grounds which leave a lot to explore. Golf courses, bike/hiking trails close will allow for an active vacation if desired.
