True et Absolute condo en bord de mer avec une vĂ©randa (balcon) qui pend presque sur l'ocĂ©an. Voir les bassins de marĂ©e ci-dessous oĂč les tortues et les anguilles aiment venir manger. Laissez les sons de la mer vous endormir aprĂšs votre journĂ©e de tourisme ou de dĂ©tente; la chambre et le salon font face Ă  la mer.

Hale Kona Kai est un petit complexe de 3 douzaines de condos en bord de mer absolue en ville mais hors des sentiers battus! Situé dans une rue calme (75-5870 Kahakai Road) et juste une courte distance de marche du village de Kailua-Kona également connu comme Kona Town. L'Hale Kona Kai est à seulement 1 pùté de maisons de la plage de sable blanc de Honl et à 2 pùtés de maisons du marché des fermiers de Kona.

Great location and view

The complex is amazing! Ocean front, great pool in front of the ocean, located to a walking distance of alii road. AC was very appreciated as well as beach gear and the binoculars to watch turtles playing in rhe tide pool ou the surfers. I totally recommend it!

The condo was well stocked- incredible views and sounds. It could use some freshening up- pictures on walls fading out. The bed mattress needs to be replaced. Communication was good with management. The air conditioning has been fixed and works great. Very quiet and waves sounds to sleep by.Walking distance to town.

This place has great location, all walking distance to restaurants and shopping, and also close to the beach. The problem is, the A/C unit shut down before we get there. Although the management provided a stand alone small A/C unit for the bedroom, yet it's still very hot in the living room area. On top of that, the little unit was very loud, it took us 2 nights to get use to the noise, but it almost time to move out the condo. Very disappointed .

Experience Kona

We wanted to experience this island as we have been to 2 others. Love the patio and the ocean view. The place needs some updating and a good DEEP clean, especially vents. Overall we would stay here again, good value.

Aged property in need of maintenance

I really want to be fair because the condo had some good points, such as location to town, great view from lanai, and responsive management. However the reader should understand this is an aged property both inside and out, badly in need of refurbishing. When we checked in there was a stench that resembled urine. The a/c to the entire building was not working for two days. The bathroom did not seem sanitary. Fortunately the management took pity on us and refunded our last four days so we could move to a resort

Nice place. When we arrived we were told the A/C was not working but would be repaired the next day. The next day we received an email saying the a/c was still out. No communication after that on our 5 day stay. The views are great. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Kona retreat

The condo unit was pretty much what the pictures showed. The unit was nicely laid out and had most of the amenities that you would need for your stay. The building is older and the toilet was not working as well. We called the property manager and they got someone in right away to look at it. The convenient location to the tourist attractions was great! When I was looking for a place to stay I very specifically wanted a pool to be able to use. The complex had the pool closed during our stay and this was a really big letdown. Had I known this at the time of booking, I would not have booked this location. The unit worked for our needs but the lack of amenities promised was a let down.

Love the location!

We had a great stay! While enjoying early coffee on the lanai the view(3rd floor #305) contained an expansive view of waves, surfers, canoes rowing and a cruise ship anchored quite a ways straight out on one day. Several of our favorite restaurants just a very short walk away. We were a little put off because the pool closed shortly into our stay for lanai restorations on another wing of the property. The staff on site were kind and accommodating.The owners even left us a nice anniversary gift. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful location but dust and rust on the lamps, door knobs, and other metallic surfaces. Tidy and neat but had roaches during our stay. Had can of Raid under sink for use.

Location and views were fabulous. The condo had wear and needed upgrades, primarily with the ventilation system which had not been cleaned in a very long time as my allergies were quite stimulated while inside the condo. This is something that has never happened to me in any condo in Hawaii over the years. One look at the vents told the story. A few bugs made appearances but nothing excessive for a tropical climate. Overall a good stay though in the future I think I will go back to the Kona Reef as it has never disappointed.

Great Location, Great View, Great Stay

Two of us had a wonderful stay at this condo unit. Plenty of room for us, comfortable king bed, stocked kitchen and plenty of beach items like snorkels/chairs/towels that we really appreciated. We choose to leave doors and windows open to cool the place and hear the waves over running the air conditioner most of the time. Lovely breeze and surf sound was great. Perfect location, just a short walk to tons of restaurants and bars. Lovely pool right on the shore that we enjoyed several times. Handy parking spot and laundry room on each floor. It is an older building/unit that is close to the salt water, so understandably there are some issues, but we didn't have a problem. We would stay again for sure!

We loved our stay here. The view was incredible. It was just a short walk to restaurants and shopping. The kitchenette was handy. AC and elevator were operational. Would stay here again!

Perfect location!

Quick trip for the weekend from Seattle. Close to the airport, easy walking everywhere and love the parking spot! Would for sure recommend this place.
