We loved Kiawah

Kiawah was a perfect destination for our family vacation. The house was a great fit for our family. The location was great and only a few minutes walk to the beach or the community pool. We hope to return soon.

I was under the impression that the house had its own dock for kayaking because of the pictures they listed. The inside of the home was pleasant enough, but the windows were filthy. I cleaned what I could reach, but it turned out the windows are in bad shape between the glass. Supplies are minimal. We had to buy paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, and conditioner. That was a first for us. In my experience, the homes that are privately owned are more welcoming. They provide not only supplies but snacks!

We apologize for any confusion but yes the listing does state it is a community dock and pool area, we have the pics for community amenities listed so potential guests can see those areas when booking. We also send a detailed list of everything supplied ahead of time so you can be prepared and pack accordingly, we try to be very thorough in all our communications as we are a company and standardize the amenities in our units. Thank you for letting us know about the windows so we can have those looked into, humidity and salty air are tough on properties here as you can imagine! If you ever have any questions on what is available we are here to help and hope you will be back another time!

Perfect location!!

We stayed a year ago in the same cottage and loved it so much we returned this year. It was just as wonderful!! Beautiful kitchen with gas stove, beautiful bathrooms and extremely comfortable master bedroom. We had to call maintenance to fix the handle on the screened in porch and he came within 30 minutes and fixed it perfectly !!! He was extremely professional and competent !! We love staying at Inlet Cove to enjoy the river and private dock for fishing, private swimming pool and close bike ride to the beach. This is a perfect location and beautiful cottage.

Great Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been coming to Kiawah and have stayed all over the Island with several different companies and individual renters. With that being said, this was the cleanest house we've stayed in. The house is completely updated and has beautiful decor. Comfortable beds and a great view from the screened porch. It's a perfect distance to the dock and pool, and an equal amount distance to the beach. I have zero complaints and I would definitely bring my family back to this house. ESPM was quick in responding to my questions.

Kiawah Vacation Home

The property was clean and well-designed. Our son and his family shared a bath between the guest bedrooms and we had the master bedroom and our own space. The villa was spacious and we particularly enjoyed the screen porch looking over the inlet, with the tide rising and falling. The large dining room table was very convenient when we all dined, including our daughter and son-in-law who visited. The kitchen was well-stocked but not a lot of food storage space due to full cabinets.

This house was well equipped, decorated, and clean. Having a gas stove was a plus. This community/neighborhood was convenient as it's outside the main Kiawah gate. It's a short walk/bike ride to the beach and beach park. Access to the community dock (and pool) was also great so we could easily go fishing and kayaking. We'd definitely stay here again when visiting Kiawah!

Lovely, quiet little spot

Everything was extremely clean, the kitchen was well appointed with tools and appliances, and the layout of the home was perfect. There is a balcony off the back of the home that has a screened porch and balcony off the primary bedroom that overlook a river. While the house was awesome, my favorite part was the neighborhood itself. Lovely shaded pathways and the beach was just around the corner. The community has a pool and a dock for fishing and kayaking as well. I had several questions for the rental company while we were there and they were always extremely responsive and easy to work with. Shopping in Freshfields was super nice (full grocery store, drugstore, etc) and Charleston was only a 40 min drive. The beach itself was awesome too. Super clean, not crowded at all. Great stay!

Great Stay!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location to stay for the marathon. Just 2 things to note, the toilet in the adjoining restroom runs unless you jiggle the handle or float. And the HDMI was missing from the king bed room's TV. Neither of those two things impacted our stay. Everything was wonderful and we'd definitely stay again!

A couple things - When we stayed here last year, we reported the hood range wasn't working. Came again this year, still broken. Gas can be dangerous to cook with without ventilation. Front step lights weren't working again either, definitely a fall hazard, very dark here at night. Some cabinets broken and need repair. Pots/pans could also definitely use updating. Otherwise good stay and 5 stars if attention to detail was there.

Perfect Location

We just returned from an amazing week and loved the private location in Inlet Cove. The kitchen is perfection!! Everything is clean and neat. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch at night with the ceiling fan and lights- you could hear the sounds of the tides coming in the waterway behind the cottage. Loved the herons and egrets that visited the waterway!!
