Montez un escalier en colimaçon saisissant à votre terrasse privée où les amis se mêlent au milieu des margaritas et des vues spectaculaires. Le mobilier branché offre une atmosphère vibrante dans ce penthouse lumineux et reposant. Vous pouvez vous attendre à une piscine d'eau salée chauffée sur le toit, un salon et un bar, une cour intérieure, un service de ménage et bien plus encore. Ce penthouse d'une chambre est l'un des quatre appartements de la Villa Colibrí (espagnol pour Colibri). Il dispose d'une grande terrasse couverte avec coin repas pour 4 personnes et plus. Le salon et la kitchenette partagent l'espace extérieur.

Le ménage est fourni. Notre domestique attend votre arrivée. Notre personnel parle anglais et espagnol et travaille du lundi au samedi (hors jours fériés). Veuillez noter que les pourboires du personnel ne sont pas inclus dans le tarif de location. LA VILLA
Villa Colibri est une luxueuse retraite de six chambres à distance de marche des restaurants, des bars, du shopping du Village Gay et de la plage emblématique de Los Muertos. Cette villa de 7500 pieds carrés est divisée en quatre appartements sophistiqués, chacun avec sa propre cuisine, salon et salle à manger. Cette conception unique offre jusqu'à 12 invités ce peu d'intimité supplémentaire pour cette escapade parfaite dans une escapade.

Des jardins tropicaux luxuriants dans toute la villa offrent un cadre idéal pour voir les dizaines de colibris qui visitent quotidiennement. Il est normal que chaque résidence porte le nom de ces créatures magiques. Un mélange de terrasses privées et partagées offre des vues spectaculaires sur la ville, la baie de Banderas, les montagnes de la Sierra Madre et la majestueuse couronne de Notre-Dame de Guadalupe. Everything is as described. The host was attentive and Justin provided help with a small maintenance need. The view is awesome! Walking up and down the hill and steps is a great workout, allowing us to eat all the wonderful food in PV

great location, amazing view, with a few quirks

Overall: Rufo is a great little place for 2 people to spend the weekend. Walkable to everything (the walk up the hill is short), its a perfect location. The view is amazing!! Felt like we were on top of the city. The shared pool and courtyard area is a great place to hang out, we had the whole thing to ourselves. Plus, just enough kitchen supplies to cook a few basic meals. Cons: The city is noisy with construction and dogs. We ended up not minding it too much after the first day. It quiets down at night and the aircon helps block it out. The unit was cleaned, but not very recently so there was a good layer of dust on everything. Last, the shower either runs boiling hot or room temperature - no in between. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and took a million pictures of the view! Thanks Villa Colibri!

Wonderful time at Villa Colibri!!

We loved this spot. Beautiful view, friendly staff, the outdoor spaces (pool, bar, courtyard). It really felt like a home away from home. It was close to a few fun strips of bars, restaurants, taco stands and shops. Only downside is the mornings can be a little nosiy with the sounds of the city (particularly on mixed up rooster) 😁

Even prettier than in the photos

I loved staying here and wished I had booked for a longer time. Although it is on quite a hill and a little tricky to find, it is a fantastic place. Everything looks exactly as shown, but what was really special was the remarkable view and the feeling that you are in a charming neighborhood, but yet so close to all the action of downtown PV. Abe and Maria were so helpful and we lacked nothing. Reg kept in touch with every detail and made us feel so welcome! I would most definitely recommend and will return. Thanks so much

Wonderful villa but with two big flaws

Our stay at Casa Colibri was overall wonderful. The villa itself is beautifully decorated, full of amenities, and boosts a fantastic view of Bandaras Bay. The House Manager, Abe, was very attentive and always helpful. It's worth noting that the sitting area and kitchenette are on the patio (literally open-air). Our room was cleaned weekly with fresh linens and supplies provided when requested. Communication with the owner and house manager was good. They keep us informed and answered all questions. However, there are two things I feel the property description on VRBO should have included. Puerto Vallarta and especially the Romantic Zone is located in the hills. There is always lots of walking and inclines to be expected when in PV. However, Casa Colibri is located up a VERY VERY steep hill. You then have to climb a set of stairs to enter the villa's main gate. Once inside, RUFO is on the top floor so more stairs! There is no alternate route to the villa....the steep hill and stairs are unavoidable. Forget about wearing cute sandals or any sort of heel if you're going out. Tennis shoes or athletic sandals are absolutely a requirement. Or, you may need to take a taxi. We've visited PV many times and walk everywhere. I know the cobblestone streets are tough stuff and the sidewalks in PV are not ideal so I pack accordingly. I simply feel the location of the villa should be mentioned in the property description so guests are not caught off guard when they arrive. Also, some potential guests may not be physically able to handle the incline or stairs so it needs to be pointed out. Secondly, the sounds of PV always include crowing roosters and barking dogs. BUT...there are 2 dogs chained to a fence at the base of the condo building. They bark and cry literally all day and night. Their barks echo around the villa's courtyard area making it impossible to sleep. After our first night there, we mentioned this to the house manger and were given earplugs. Hmmmm.....don't really want to be forced to sleep with earplugs on my vacation. The two issues above were significant enough that I needed to mention them in my review so that potential guests can make an informed decision. When booking this property and still to date, there are no reviews for me to rely on. I do realize the property owners can't change the villas location or quite dogs they don't own so it seems these things are permanent characteristics.

Thank you Renee for your kind words… well, at least up until the ‘but’. We must confess that we were a little surprised by your rather critical review given that at no time during your stay did you reach out to us regarding your concerns on the Whatsapp conversation that we create for all our guests. Your comments to us on the conversation always implied that you were enjoying yourself. As well, prior to your stay you mentioned to us that you had watched had our renovations from an apartment a few blocks further up the hillside which lead us to believe that you knew of the Villa’s location. Everything that you mentioned in your review, the hill, the stairs and the living room and kitchenette location are all disclosed in the listing as is a photo of the front of the house which clearly shows that the main house is 3 floors. The headline on the listing also states that the apartment is a Penthouse. We do have 3 other apartments on lower floors at the Villa which have full kitchens and indoor living areas but they are a higher rate than the unit that you rented. You also mention that there is no alternate route to the Villa to avoid the hill when in fact there is… you can reach the Villa up a short set of stairs from the next street over. And without complaint, we’ve in fact had guests in their 70’s and we had dinner parties at the Villa for a group in their 80’s. We will apologize for the dogs barking but it seems everyone in PV has a dog not to mention the many strays that wander streets and neighbourhoods in the town. It seems that you can’t escape the sounds of a barking dog in the town but you can escape the noisy buses and night clubs and bars which we do at our our Villa. While we’re certainly not diminishing your experience, we just don’t think we deserved this review. We went out of way to make your stay as comfortable as possible as we do with all of our guests. Our houseman even went shopping for you to buy beach chairs because you were upset that your favourite spot on the beach was now charging to use their chairs. We provide a beautiful villa with so many extras included for free that other rentals will charge you extra for. And our nightly rates are lower than our competition because most rentals are overpriced in PV anyway and we took into account that we are hillside and have stairs when we set the prices. We know we provide great value in our beautiful, fully equipped home. Maybe in the future, you might give us a second chance.

We've been together for 6 years and Vallarta has long been our favorite beach town. Although Washington, DC is our primary home in the spring, we have chosen beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico as our tropical home away from home.

Villa Colibrí MX won us over the minute we entered the front gate. Lush tropical gardens greeted us and as we made our way to the inner courtyard we knew in an instant that we wanted to share this charming Villa with the world.

The original design of the main house allowed us to create four sophisticated Hacienda-styled residences each with their own living/dining and kitchen areas. Six bedrooms in all, with two on the ground level, one on the second level and one on the upper level. An additional two bedrooms can be found in the detached Casita (cottage). Above the large orchid tree of the inner courtyard floats a bridge that links the two rooftop entertaining spaces which include the sunken pool, bar and spectacular views.

With Villa Colibrí MX, we think that we’ve captured much of what Mexico means to us. And now, we wish to share it with you and make your stay at our Villa your most memorable ever in Vallarta.

And then you too may choose Puerto Vallarta as your future home.
