Calm and peaceful- Privately located in the back of my property in the quiet urban neighborhood of Sylvan Park . Minutes away from great food, parks and all of the downtown landmarks. One of the most iconic Nashville neighborhoods.

This lovely cottage was built in the early 1900's...nicely updated, but it still retains its charming feel. Enjoy the plush Stearns and Foster pillow top mattress while watching a full cable line up including HBO . Cook a meal in the full size eat in kitchen or walk to Hattie B's hot chicken (order mild for first timers!), Hugh Baby's burgers and BBQ, Park Cafe, Star Bagel and more.

Darling and perfect for a solo traveler. The fridge compressor sounds like it’s on its last leg…. Pretty loud at night. And a comfortable chair would be a nice to have in the bedroom. I will definitely stay there again. Location is great. And the cottage is clean

Really liked our stay at this cozy, clean little vintage cottage. Big shade trees all around in a nice, safe neighborhood. It was really everything we needed for our stay. Michael, our host, was courteous, so friendly, and made the check-in and check-out process seamless.

Everything was super easy from start to finish. The cottage was clean and so lovely. We will choose to stay here again. It is a nice quiet neighborhood and only a few minutes to Broadway with Uber.

Perfect quiet spot

Good spot in a good neighborhood to stay. All it was missing was a lounge chair/ sofa. Somewhere to chill other than the kitchen table. Had everything I needed and worked out great for a short stay in walking distance of places.

Michael was very polite. I had trouble booking because of something on my end and he called me to help me. He was very kind and helpful. The place was very clean. The descriptions were accurate. Something I was looking for was a quiet place to relax and get a good nights sleep because our days were going to be busy. Folks, this is it. You will not find any place quieter than this in the city. I would book with Michael again. Cheers.

Unfortunately, our experience was significantly negatively impacted by a lockout situation during the stay. While the situation began with a lost key on our end, which I acknowledge was our responsibility, the ultimate frustration was that we were unable to reach the host for assistance from approximately 6pm until nearly 2am despite repeated attempts to contact him. Vrbo support was also initially unable to reach the host.As a result, we were unable to access the property overnight for a night we had paid for. We ultimately returned the key once it was found, but we were disappointed by the lack of timely communication and availability to help resolve the situation. Future guests should be aware that communication responsiveness may be an issue if an urgent situation arises.

I am saddened that Lianne posted this bad review but I am not surprised. This negative review from her is to punish me for not refunding her the cost of the night she lost due to her own lack of responsibility. She lost the key and locked herself out. I was able to get her a replacement the next morning and even offered another night for free. She didn't accept that offer- instead demanded a refund for the night she lost even though she was to blame. She even demanded VRBO press me for this. When I spoke to them, they agreed it was an unreasonable request. If you read my 5 star reviews on many platforms, you will see that responsiveness is one of my great traits. I hope Lianne in the future decides to behave like an adult and accept responsibility for her actions.
