Cette maison confortable est situĂ©e sur la baie de Quivera, de magnifiques couchers de soleil sur le son du Mississippi et une vue sur le golfe du Mexique, Ă  deux pĂątĂ©s de maisons du golfe. Il a une jetĂ©e pour la pĂȘche et un endroit pour amarrer votre bateau.

La chambre principale a un lit king size, la chambre d'hÎtes a un lit queen size, la chambre avec lits superposés a des lits superposés et un lit jumeau.

Le salon principal dispose d'un canapé-lit. La cuisine est bien équipée et la salle à manger peut accueillir cinq personnes confortablement.

To say the kitchen was fully equipped would be under selling it. Anything wwe need or may have need was right there.

Location is the best, right on the canal and 4 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen has EVERYTHING. We cooked big meals with ease. The entire property not just the rooms were very clean. There is also a nice dock to fish and crab from. Mr Marks allows the use of the crab traps. Communication was very prompt when I informed Mr Marks we arrived but with great instructions on how everything works none was required during our stay. The interior is extremely cozy and comfortable all around. In other words we felt at ease and at home. The view of Mobile Bay from the back porch, well, no words to explain the beauty. We will be spending all our vacation time at Marks the Spot. Thank you so much Mark & Mellisa Marks.

We loved this house. It’s in a perfect location on the bay and a straight walk to the beach. The house is equipped with all the things you need for a week of living at the beach. You will need to bring your own beach essentials (chairs/umbrella/ toys) which is what we did. The guys loved fishing off the deck and using the crab traps to catch crabs. The owners are easy to contact if you have any issues or questions.

Overall, our stay was wonderful. It was very relaxing, and cozy. The breeze that come off the bay is perfect for an afternoon nap in the hammock. The house had everything we needed and more. Our hostswere very sweet and even checked in on us to make sure we had all we needed.

Great home in a great spot!

This property was very nice. Lots of patio/deck space. Right on the water/cove for the fishermen in our group. Very responsive owners. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Not likely to rent again

We stayed at this house for nearly a week. Our review of this property is mixed:*Some of the photos on this listing need to be updated: there were photos depicting the view of the bay which showed a green space across from the house, however, this green space no longer exists as there are now 2 large, 2-story houses there. May want to ask for updated pics before renting this house if the view is of importance.*The 2 houses across the bay and another 2 doors down (all in very close proximity) were under construction during our stay. The owners did not notify us about the construcrtion until the day of our arrival. Next door neighbors advised us construction started a year ago.*Noise from the construction resulted in us often not being able to enjoy the outdoor space. A couple days it was so loud, we left the house. Recommend inquiring as to the current state of construction before renting.*We were advised on the day of arrival that a starter supply of paper towels/TP was provided & that we would need to buy more; a little more advance notice would have been appreciated. We don't mind bringing our own supplies, but by the time we were notified, we had left home and were on the road*Many of the windows could not be opened or had screens full of large holes*House was very clean upon our arrival*Kitchen was well stocked; huge supply of plates, glasses, coffee mugs, utensils, etc.

Fishing off the dock

Our family of 5 with 3 kids ages ranging 9-15 had a great time! We brought crab cages and caught crabs which we cooked up. We caught countless Krokers, but no luck with the sheepsheads other fishermen caught just a couple houses down in the same bay. The beach is just down the street, the beach can be seen from the kitchen window.

We can’t say enough good things about this home! The hosts were very friendly and communication was quick and easy. We had no problems during our stay. We enjoyed the beautiful decorations perfectly placed throughout the home! Short walk to the Gulf and lovely views off the back deck. Amazing Location!

We loved everything about this property. The house is beautiful. It was stocked well and very clean. Outdoor space is nice and has a gas grill. You couldn’t ask for a better location. The bay in the backyard and ocean view from the front. Just book it. You want regret it!

Our guest enjoy having the best of both worlds of being on the water with their own personal dock and also having such easy access to the beach. The walk from the house to the beach takes about 4-5 minutes.
