A perfect spot !

A complete studio with everything you need. 200 meters from the beach, 500 meters from grocery and restaurant near Fajardo for bioluminescence, not far from San Juan, a perfect spot !

This was the perfect little home away from home. The cleanliness was 5 star! Though it wasn't total glam it had everything you needed plus views. It was in an excellent location, safe and close to the kiosks with the most amazing food (kiosk #20 is unforgettable) But i also enjoyed cooking at home and had everything I needed. Will definitely return. The host, Mr. Julio, was avaliable quick to respond and super kind. I have zero regrets about this stay. I HIGHLY recommend this location. This party of one loved it

Great studio Playa Azul

We really enjoyed the stay at Don Julio's studio. It is very comfortable and well equipped. It is on a second floor. The location is great! IWe will definitely like to return. Communication was great and we were informed the place was ready for earlier check-in than expected.

Don Julio

Good location for everything! , nice and clean , unclear instruction to locate as street labeling and building numbers do not exist as we found throughout the island. A Really good picture could help, gps only gets you so close , which may be street or 2 away . Had to get instructions by phone after wandering and looking , night time is impossible to find. Local people could not ID either. Room was fine , we found it hard to use balcony with neighbors smoking cigars outside regularly. We are not used to tobacco smell that close. Don Julio responded fast when we called, thank you!

I second some of the other things people said. It's a modest place (like staying at a relative's place) at a great location to enjoy surrounding beaches and El Yunque. It is a studio, so it was great for just two of us.

Enjoyed our stay

The location and neighborhood were great. The place didnt seem match the listing. The gate to enter and exit was tricky. We called the owner and he walked us through the process and then it was fine. It would be nice if the balcony was covered.

Perfect quiet spot

Location is absolutely amazing - a grocery store, a bakery, restaurant and the beach are all within 1/2 a block. Plenty of street parking if you don't want to use the designated spot.The studio is very spacious, clean and has literally everything you may need. Don't miss out on this spot!

Simple, safe and just what we needed

My husband and I stayed at Don Julio’s for 7 days to celebrate our weeding anniversary on Valentines. The morning of check in we’re able to check in super early and had a beautiful bouquet of flowers that greeted us. Such a lovely surprise! My honest feedback is this was a great place for me and my husband. The price was so cheap and the location was perfect proximity to all the fun stuff in Luqillo and El Yunque. If your boujie and want to stay in a fancy place then this isn’t for you. For the vibe of the apartment this is more simple & like a traditional Puerto Rico home your elderly grandma might live in. The furniture doesn’t really match and the walls do need a fresh coat of paint but the bed was super comfortable. The place was clean. The shower was nice and hot and had great pressure. You’re on an island so you will see a bug here and there and the lights will flicker but that is to be expected on an island! We got to hear the beautiful sounds of the coqui every night and the roasters in the morning. We love it and it’s the true Puerto Rico experience. We never lost power and had cold ac and the area was very safe to be in and walk around and so close to the beaches which was perfect. There were coolers, chairs and more beach equipment. Don Julio’s is perfect for anyone who wants a comfortable place to lay there head and a hot shower but are on the go all day running on the island! Thank you Don Julio we will be back!

This property is certainly convenient and is close to the beach and restaurants. The street is quiet and the apartment is well taken care of. I would not rave about the building itself, it is modest and fine. For the price it is good.

Magic in Luquillo

Located by Playa Azul in Luquillo, it was a four minute four minute walk to the beach. From Playa Azul there is a stunning walk around the peninsula, through the shallows to Luquillo beach and the famous kioskos. It was one of the most stunningly beautiful beach walks ever and rarely crowded. The studio apartment is well located, simple and convenient and clean. Julio, the host was very attentive and helpful. Luquillo provided a peaceful home base from which we could explore the rest of enchanting Puerto Rico.

Quick Getaway

We brought our 8yo for a little Vacation before he goes back to school and he had a blast. Julio communicated with us every step of the way and any issue we had he fixed on the spot. Great communication and great directions .Place was perfect location steps away from the beach. Definitely would recommend .

Received accurate directions to the property by the owner. Great communication! The room had everything in the kitchen that you could possibly need and it was great! Walking distance to the beach. Had beach chairs and umbrella available for use. The balcony area was simply amazing! Grilled and played games and also relaxed in the hammock. Overall it was great for our first time staying up north.

Julio Beach Studio

Outside building needs a little touch up but do not let that fool you. Julio place is very clean.Everything you need is there from kitchen pots to chair and umbrella for the beach. Very quiet street and close to restaurant,shopping and the Kioskos. Cooler was nice too. Thank You
