A beautiful and private rustic and outdoor style. You have one bedroom with one queen size bed with an outdoor shower that sits next to your private hot tub with an amazing panoramic view and also a full bathroom next to your room which has ac unit, tv, dresser/mirror , iron and blow dryer You have your own outdoor kitchen with grill you also have washer and dryer available on property. You can step out to your private terrace and check out the view of the ocean and rainforest and your only minutes away from our beautiful beaches and the 60 kiosko where you can bar hop even wine and dine next to the beach. Also many water rental for fun activities. This truly is an outdoor experience with panoramic view

Place was exactly as described, very comfortable bed, hot tub was great, as was the outdoor shower.

Our host was amazing, very helpful with suggestions and made sure we were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back.

Wonderful stay

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was close to several things to do. The Antique Bakery was delicious and close by. And we enjoyed the views. Jay was very accommodating and kind.

Beautiful View and Amazing Porch/Patio

We loved staying at Jay’s! Every morning and night we sat in the hot tub and took in the beautiful sky off the porch/patio. We loved the outdoor setting. The weather was so beautiful and we had a nice spot to enjoy it daily. Jay was very communitive and gave us great recommendations .

Jays Luquillo home

This was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. This home is very Rustic, almost entirely outside, but exactly What we were hoping for. Jay and his staff were very helpful and responsive to our needs. The area of the home felt safe, was quiet, and very convenient to get on and off PR3.

Beautiful views!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a few days, and it definitely was the highlight of our trip, we had beautiful sunrise and sunset views while chilling in the hot tub. Jay was really nice and helpful. We were sad we had to leave, but would definitely book again for our next vacation in Pr!

Enjoyed our stay

This property was exactly what we wanted for our visit to Puerto Rico. Privacy with an amazing outdoor shower and hot tub. Our host was so responsive and helpful with local suggestions. The neighborhood felt very safe. It was very humid during our stay so the air conditioner in the bedroom couldn't keep up, but the big fan really helped. We would definitely stay again, no question!

Know that the bedroom is tiny. Does have AC TV. This place is good for someone that likes the outdoors….because it’s mostly outdoors, upstairs with Mother Nature. Nice fun small Hot Tub. Large cooking area and very private and clean.No problems checking in. We had fun touring, sightseeing and eating at the Kiosks.

We absolutely loved our stay! We took some of your recommendations such as playa la pared, los kioskos, el yunque. All great ideas and so close by. Having a couple of drinks in the hot tub was a nice way to wind down from the day. Thanks again!

Great location in Luquillo

I had a chance to explore the island on my own after a work week in San Juan. This is an excellent balance to that - in a nice, suburban neighborhood away from the bustle of the city. Great location near Luquillo (beaches and kiosks), Fajardo, El Yunque, etc. Jay is an excellent host, made sure I had lots of information about the surrounding area. The space is your own outdoor patio with enclosed bedroom - fun space and nice to enjoy the outdoors. I would stay here again.

I really liked staying here. The theme was very nice and different compared to my everyday living. Jay was the ultimate host and I didn’t have a problem with anything. He’s very nice and so resourceful! For anyone looking for a home away from home this is it! I most definitely will be back!!!

Beautiful property in a great location. Jay was a kind and communicative host with plenty of local recommendations. Hot tub and outdoor shower are sweet touches. Room stays nice and cool with fan and ac unit. Beach is close, but not walking distance. Prepare to rent a car or take uber to get around!

Perfect experience

The location is easy for parking and walking. The view is incredible. The outside accommodations far passed any expectation we could have had. It was a truly unique experience. Jay made the stay even better, with his helpful suggestions. He was readily available to help and committed to making he sure we enjoyed our time. By far the best accommodation and host!

What can I say? 🏅

Not going to lie, it’s hard giving this a perfect review because more people are going to find out about one of the most beautiful and relaxing gems in the island of Puerto Rico. Staying here was everything I desire and needed, to be able to relax by yourself in a secluded area but allow you to be free was so good. My host was incredible and gave amazing suggestions. This place is the best I’ve stayed in a very long time. I highly recommend.

Peaceful Retreat Near the Beach and Rainforest

Our stay at Jay’s Home by the Beach and Rainforest Couples Retreat was a wonderful experience. The property is in a perfect location — close to both the beach and beautiful hiking spots in the rainforest. The home itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.We did experience a couple of minor issues during our stay: the hot tub was leaking and would drain overnight, and a decorative painting outside had fallen. However, we were very impressed with how quickly everything was handled — both issues were fixed the very next morning while we were out hiking, without any disruption to our plans.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and really appreciated the quick and thoughtful communication from the host. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable escape.

Outdoor Amazement!

This property is one of the coolest places we have ever stayed at. The outdoor layout is like nothing we've ever seen before. The view from the place is amazing. Shower is outside but very private. You have seating areas, hammocks, even a jacuzzi! The bedroom and toilet area are under cover and protected. We felt safe and had a great time. Our host Jay was very helpful with all kinds of great information as to what to do and where to eat in the area. Thanks Jay! Also, you can't beat the price per night. If you are not picky and need a cool place to sleep and hang out at night after a day full of adventure, this place is for you!Goodplace forrchips two A and adventurous

Unique creative space

I came for a mother-daughter trip. Just as is pictured, a really cool spot the owner has created, an outdoorsy space. It even rained the first day or two and it wasn't that bad, since temps are so enjoyable in PR. If you like camping, you'll love it here. In what I'd say is an average middle class neighborhood, some nice places, some not as nice, but that's average, so don't be a snob :) Jay was so great to work with. He made recommendations right away and was super responsive! He realy takes pride in his rentals. I hope to be back!

I can not tell you how much I loved this place. If you are looking for seclusion, it's here. If you are looking for quietness, it's here. If you are looking for security, it's here. And then in arms reach, there's parties, beaches, shopping, food and convenience right where you need it. The people are helpful, nice and cordial. My property manager was nice, helpful and available when I needed something. I felt safe here, traveling as a single woman. And I hope to come back soon. Thank you!

A haven for outdoor comforts.

Jays place was so perfect I almost don't want to write this review in fear others will book it when I want to return. Lol All jokes aside Jay was an amazing host that gave us countless restaurant suggestions (the ribs were the highlight of my trip) he also was kind enough to help with any questions or requests we had. The place has a perfect view of the ocean and the rainforest. It was a nice outdoor shower a seperate bathroom and all the comforts you could need in a room. The outdoor living space was so relaxing even in the rain. The best part was a hot tub very well put together with views of the stars yet privacy from others. Inwould recommend Jays spot to anyone that wants to truly live like a local on vacation you'll find everything you need there!

Great Host, Amazing Experience

First off !!! Jay is a great host. He made our trip a better experience. The flat we stayed in, is definitely for people who enjoy the outdoor experience. My wife and I were celebrating our first anniversary and Jay’s flat was the perfect base to have a true Puerto Rico experience. Luquillo is a unique experience and there are things to do from morning until late at night. We loved the outdoor shower, and the uniqueness of the outdoor flat. Yes mosquitos and flies can be an issue, but they didn’t really bother us. If you want to visit Culebra or Vieques islands using the FERRY make sure to get your tickets a few days in advance at the FERRY terminal in CEIBA at least two days before you plan on going. Amazing trip we loved the outdoor experience at Jay’s.

Rainforest retreat

We really did love staying here. The bed was very comfortable and we slept soundly. The outdoor shower was my favorite part. We did not cook, but the kitchen would have been suitable for anything we wanted to prepare.Unfortunately the water went out during our stay due to an issue at the local pumping station. This was no fault of the host’s. There was a slight delay in hearing back from Jay about the issue, but once he noticed my message he was very communicative until the problem was resolved.The reason for my redacting one star is because the hot tub was out of order during our stay. With the water also being out, having the hot tub to comfortably rinse off the salt water would have made the trouble much more comfortable. Jay acknowledged that the heat pump for the hot tub had long outlived its expected lifespan. I am sure it has been replaced since our stay, but I was still disappointed that no one noticed the hot tub was not working before we arrived, especially since it was known that the heat pump was on it’s last leg.Overall, I would consider staying here again. I really enjoyed the outdoor living area with a secure/enclosed sleeping area. The location was very good.

A beautiful rustic, quiet, private with an amazing view that blends in with the nature that surrounds my home of both mountains and beach and the outdoor shower along with the hot tub will leave you in such a relaxation as you lounge right under the stars at night as well as the sun rising over our beautiful beaches and mountains early morning. I am minutes away from beaches, convenient stores, water rentals, 60 bars to choose from and many restaurants to enjoy right by the beach. The el Yunque rainforest is about 15 minutes away from all the sight seeing and waterfalls to enjoy in the wild outdoors of our breathtaking national park.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

I grow fruits out back like Guava, Guanabana, bananas and plantains so that my guest can enjoy what life out in the tropics has to offer straight out of my yard and we have the neighborhood park with outdoor running track an outdoor gym also, we have the delicious Antique bakery right around the corner.
