Profitez de l'intimité et du paradis ultimes sur l'île de Merritt! Notre spacieuse maison de style mission se trouve sur une péninsule de quatre acres sur la rivière Banana. Vous pouvez passer la journée à vous détendre au bord de la piscine, prendre un verre au bar extérieur, pêcher ou chasser la sauvagine. Vous pouvez faire du kayak et de la planche à voile sur la rivière où vous êtes obligé de voir des dauphins sauvages ou des lamantins. Nous sommes à quelques minutes de Cocoa Beach, de Cap Canaveral, du Kennedy Space Center et à moins d'une heure de Disney World.

Nous avons élevé nos cinq enfants sur ce que nous, notre famille et nos amis aimons appeler le «The Sosa Resort».
Au fil des ans, nous avons fait beaucoup de pêche, de ski nautique, de planche à genoux, de planche à sillage ou tout simplement apprécié regarder les dauphins et les lamantins. Dans les mois les plus froids, nous aimons assister à la bioluminescence, qui est un phénomène naturel des eaux bleues éclatantes causées par le plancton. En faisant simplement tourbillonner votre main, un coup de pagaie ou simplement les pistes de dard des poissons qui nagent, l'eau s'éclaire comme un spectacle de lumière électrique. Les images étonnantes de dauphins parfaitement éclairés passant en revue, font jaillir l'eau dans des couleurs bleues brillantes, tout comme dans le film Life of Pi.

Au fil des ans, nous avons profité d'une vue à vol d'oiseau inoubliable, de couchers de soleil magnifiques et colorés! Avec des nuances d'orange, de rouge, de violet et oui même de rose!

Perfect family vacation!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Dania's beautiful family vacation rental in Merritt Island and it exceeded all our expectations! The location was perfect. We enjoyed the sunset and saw dolphins everyday while there. The house itself was spacious and comfortably accommodated our family of 21 with plenty of bedrooms and shared spaces for everyone to relax. Dania was exceptionally welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

A perfect family paradise!

We had to request a last minute booking and the host, Dania, graciously accepted when she learned of the unforeseen circumstances. Check in was very easy and the house was all ready for us upon arrival. The kids were very excited about the pool floats and a bin of legos waiting for them. A lovely welcome basket was so thoughtful as was information about restaurants and things to do in the area. The house is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed looking at all of the art. There are so many unique places to sit and relax, read, play games. The kitchen is amazing and had everything needed. We enjoyed the Breville espresso machine! The outdoors is private and peaceful. The kids loved seeing a dolphin swim right along the shoreline in the backyard. The home gym was great and we enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. The kids had fun with karaoke and the game room, especially skeeball! It’s obvious this is a well-loved and cared for family home and we loved spending time there and making memories. Dania was a wonderful host. We highly recommend this beautiful place!

unique property

Dania was the most agreeable host and satisfied our every wish. The house has every possible amenity for a family vacation. Our grandkids loved the pool table, hot tub, exercise equipment, game room, etc. The kitchen is well stocked and the views are spectacular. We saw dolphins swimming right next to the bulkhead on two consecutive days. The only drawback for us was the sunroom for sleeping. It was much too bright and hot. We were unable to get the fan to work so we had to bunk up with kids in other rooms. It worked for us but may not for others. We even got to see a space launch during our visit and spent a day at Epcot. All in all, it was a lovely and pleasant experience.

location was perfect off the river and close to fishing and Orlando The owner was great giving us constant communication of area and home features. We will be back this summer to do this again great time!!!

Spectacular

Absolutely fabulous stay for our family reunion. The property has everything you need and makes it hard to leave. I had my morning coffee on the gazebo watching dolphins, followed by either a quick bike ride or paddle board. Then margaritas on the back deck. We found it hard to get out of the pool once we were in. Pool floats, water guns, diving rings, and volleyball kept the whole family busy for hours and hours. A game of corn hole in the yard and a boat ride before getting dinner ready. The kitchen was FULLY stocked. With many listings I find it hard to cook because you are always missing something, but not this one. The kitchen has 2 sinks and a huge island with cook top making it easy to get multiple people in to help. Every small appliance you could think of is there and even staple pantry items. After dinner we usually spent sometime inside either playing cards, ski ball, indoor shuffle board, pool, or foosball. For once the kids stayed off their iPads and had so much fun mastering each game. Rooms were very comfortable, almost everyone gets their own bathroom as well. Plenty of towels. Check in was a breeze, host was very responsive. The location had a lot of offer, we went for an airboat ride and saw a rocket launch from the water as close to NASA property as you are allowed to get. The beach is just a couple minutes away. Worth every penny!

My husband and I owned a combined Medical/Dental practice here on Merritt Island for over 20 years. We have loved practicing Dentistry and Medicine and living here on the Island.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Our Property sits on 4 acres on a peninsula. The house is 7650sq ft and is surrounded by water. Every bedroom has a unique view of the water. We raised our five children on what we and our family and friends like to call it the “The Sosa Resort”.
Over the years we have done lots fishing, water skiing, knee boarding, wake boarding or just enjoyed watching the dolphin and manatee. In the cooler months we love to witness the bioluminescence which is a natural phenomenon of glowing blue waters caused by plankton. By just swirling your hand, a stroke of your paddle or just the darting trails of swimming fish, the water lights up like an electric light water show. The amazing images of perfectly lit dolphin zooming by, cause the water to spark up in glowing blue colors, just like in the movie Life of Pi.

Throughout the years we have enjoyed unforgettable birds-eye views, of beautiful and colorful sunsets! With shades of orange, red, purple and yes even pink!
We hope that you will also make happy memories and enjoy all of this and more!

We love living on our own private island peninsula. Our only neighbors are the dolphin and manatee. The mornings are quiet and calm, great for meditating or taking a nice morning swim in our scallop shape pool while enjoying the daybreak view of the river as it comes to life. At night we love sitting in our gazebo and listening to the waves and gently breeze while enjoying a cocktail.

Merritt Island is a National Wildlife Refuge. Many migratory birds and other wild life including manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, alligator, blue heron, bald eagles, ospreys, bobcats, and the elusive Florida panther live here. It is also a water fowl hunting area.

Bicycles, fishing supplies, snorkeling and beach gear are available upon request. Also 2 small ATVs are available upon request. There is also a golf cart available for use on the property.
Guest will have access to the entire home and all of its amenities, which include an outdoor pool, 2 kayaks, a windsurfer, an outside basketball hoop as well as an in pool basketball hoop and in pool volleyball net and an outdoor ping pong table. Indoors, there is a game room with an Xbox One S and a PlayStation 4 accessible to guests, as well as three Apple TVs with access to more than 700 movies and TV shows. The indoor gym has a heated jacuzzi and sauna. The pool-table room has a snooker table, dartboard and poker/roulette/blackjack/craps table. In the kitchen, guests will find a fully functional kitchen with many appliances including, a Keurig coffee maker, an ice machine, two mini fridges, a large fridge, seperate freezer, washer and dryer and double ovens. The home also has three seperate gas fireplaces. One in the master bedroom, the other in the pool table room and the centerpiece of the home is a large round coquina rock structure that houses the main fireplace.

We can provide a housekeeper for an additional daily fee if desired.

Our 19 foot fishing boat and water ski equipment is also option
