Great place to stay

Very clean, spacious place with a large balcony, easy access to beach and local businesses. Lots of amenities in this listing! Pickeball,bikes, beach chairs service and easy walk to coffee shop, seafood store, wine bar overlooking a tranquil lake! We saw it all and this condo is in a very nice community!

April get away!

Needed to get away from gloomy IL weather. Dunes of Seagrove was a wonderful choice! Condo is spacious (a bit dated) but suited 3 adults just fine. A short walk to the pool and beach was perfect. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect and Quiet

Fantastic from the moment we arrived! Great pool and beach access. Beach service was an added bonus to this trip. Made for going to the beach stress free (the way it should be). No hassle check in with the Garret Reality App. Short drive to many of our favorite 30A destinations. Could not have asked for a more awesome week! RB

Girl Getaway

The condo was very clean and had an amazing size balcony. The chipped wristbands for amenities were a pain but we understand a necessity for the property. Overall we had a wonderful time and will definitely plan to return in the future.

Failed Expectations

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Compared to others we have enjoyed at this location, the unit was provided with uncomfortable furniture inside and out, the tv had no network connection, and it was sparsely furnished with dishes and bathroom items. It seemed set up for the convenience of the rental agency, not the guests.

Reviewer Comments: The condominium we reserved was changed at the last moment due to a plumbing issue. The TV remote batteries were all dead. Had issues with the access code to get inside the property. Benchmark left me a voice mail saying we woud be charged for a broken a pool fob and lost a pool fob which is COMPLETELY not true.

Terrible service from management company!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1. Listing showed rental included bikes and they told me it didn’t & were completely unhelpful in remedying the mistake...Eventually, determined it DID in fact include the bikes, but not until day 6 of our stay after I had rented on my own. 2. Ice maker had a VERY LOUD beeping bc filter needed to be changed 3. Be ready for EVERY SHOWER you take to be FREEZING!! No matter to time of day...

Location was fantastic. The pool and hot tub area is a nice option as well. The fitness room was nice, and there are grills, bikes and a pickle ball court available. There were some drawbacks, though. The pillows, beds and furniture were very uncomfortable. Those definitely need to be upgraded. The internet service is very spotty so you may or may not be able to access your streaming services if you decide to watch a movie. There were no washcloths in the unit. The ice maker did not work. Communication for the location of the electronic bracelets you must have to access the pool and beach was not clear. We basically had to search the unit for them even after calling the management company. They basically said if we couldn’t find them that evening someone would help us the next day. Another issue was the waiver for riding the bikes. I apparently was supposed to get an email from Vacasa with an attached waiver prior to our arrival but did not. When we asked the people in the management office they acted like I did get the email and it was my fault that I hadn’t take care of it. After searching all of my emails in front of them, she then tried to look up our reservation but said she couldn’t find it! Another lady arrived and was able to email me a waiver. I then had a question about what the code was to access the bikes. I received a text back saying this unit did not include bikes. That was incorrect. The management company was not great with communication.

Family Spring Break Beach Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was fantastic. It was a safe, quiet area right on the beach. It was clean. The pool and hot tub area were nice as was the fitness area. Some great amenities included the free daily beach set-up and bicycle use. There were some drawbacks, however. The pillows, beds and furniture were very uncomfortable. The ice maker did not work. We ran out of hot water many times (we suspect they had too small of a water heater). The internet service was spotty so you may be unable to watch your streaming services. There were no washcloths in the unit so definitely plan to bring your own. The management company was not the easiest to communicate with. When we first arrived, we were trying to find the electronic bracelets that were needed in order to access the pool and beach areas. We made a phone call to the management company and were basically told if we could not find them that night someone would have to help us the next day. After searching the unit, we were finally able to find the bracelets. We also were unclear of how to access the bikes on the premises. Apparently I was supposed to receive a waiver before arriving, but I did not. When we went to the office to let them know they acted like I had simply overlooked the waiver . I was finally able to get someone to email me a copy. I then had a question about the codes used to get the bikes free, and the management company told me who to call, but then followed up with, “but keep in mind this unit does not include bikes.” That was obviously incorrect. I was definitely under the impression that the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing in regards to the management company.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dunes of Seagrove 202C did not disappoint. The tall windows were absolutely lovely. very short walk to the beach. My only advice would be to be up early and in line to get the chair service. They don't open until 8am, but the line started as early as 615am. Grab a book and coffee and just enjoy the quiet beach while waiting.

The counter tops were sandy and dirty, the refrigerator shelves were sticky, there was some sort of orange liquid in the trash can and when we went to be that night there was sand in the sheets. This indicates to me that the unit was not cleaned prior to our arrival. I contacted Benchmark and received no response. I sent them an email when we returned home and they did respond saying they they would pass the information along to house keeping so it did not happen again. Very poor customer service!!!

A Seagrove Gem

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed in Dunes of Seagrove 202C a few times over the years. The Dunes complex location is fantastic. There are many reasons why we prefer The Dunes complex. Beach access is so easy. The complex is incredibly clean and kept manicured. The pools are very large which is excellent to offer those of who want to "float around" while kids are playing in the other pool or on the other side of one pool. Ease of access- we need an accessible unit (adult mobility issues) and The Dunes works perfectly for our needs. Covered parking and luggage carts is so appreciated too. Unit 202C is large, offers plenty of seating while not cluttering the unit with furniture. Beds are quite comfortable. The balcony is large and the view is wonderful. We had two things we'd like to see improved- Unit 202C is showing wear and could be cleaner (floors, rugs) and the gates to the pool/beach SLAM each time someone comes/goes. Just a thin rubber gasket would take the loud banging slam sound away and make the pool area so much more pleasant.

2021 Vacation

It was overall very nice. After talking with friends who went the same week that we did we realized we had definetly paid alot more than they did. We rented through Benchmark and the price was very high for 5 days (Saturday-Wednesday(couldn't check in until nearly 4:30 and had to leave by 10am on Wednesday so you pretty much loose a day). They rented from Saturday to Saturday and their bill rented through a different company was half as much as what we paid. Very overpriced and we were the building furtherest away from the ocean and the pool.

Super Location and Surroundings

Location, Dual Pools (one heated ) with hot tub and 5 mns private beach access. Secure and quiet but active if need be. Very spacious pool areas. Well built and quiet overall. Loved having elevator and stairwell access. Private parking spot was awesome.

The bikes that came with our room, and the umbrella and chairs that came with the room, were nice too! The condo could’ve been a little cleaner, but overall, we loved it! Also, we could not figure out the TV in bedrooms.
