Le plus bel appartement de 2 chambres à York!

Nous avons vu beaucoup de très beaux appartements à York au cours des années, mais celui-ci est d'un peu spécial. Cette superbe propriété parvient à combiner à la fois un cadre paisible et privé avec un emplacement en plein cœur de la ville. Certains des meilleurs traiteurs et chocolatiers de York sont juste à la porte pour que vous appréciiez.

Meublé au plus haut des normes tout au long il a certainement le facteur «wow». œuvres d'art uniques et de style peuvent être trouvés dans le couloir d'entrée et cuisine / salle à manger. Deux chambres de bonne taille ainsi que deux salles de bains disposent au sein de la propriété et ajouter à la sensation de luxe.

Un généreux cadeau de bienvenue de la célèbre «Betty's, ainsi que des articles de toilette de qualité supérieure se combinent pour donner l'impression que vous êtes dans un endroit très spécial.

La principale caractéristique de cet appartement particulier se révèle lorsque vous montez un escalier pour le salon incroyablement spacieuse. La grande et luxueuse 'en forme de L' canapé et télévision à écran LCD sont fantastiques dans leur propre droit, mais il est l'espace extérieur qui fait tomber votre mâchoire. Un grand balcon ouvert avec mobilier de jardin fait l'endroit idéal pour profiter de l'une des meilleures vues de la cathédrale d'York qui peuvent être trouvés dans la ville.

This was my 3rd stay in this apartment and already booked for my next. I am not sure I could find a better apartment for location and views. Simply stunning views of the minster, spacious rooms, everything you could need in the kitchen and the balcony a major plus.

The view is as good as the photos

Really impressed. Responsive and communicative hosting company, huge and luxurious flat with amazing views of York Minster - we opened the windows and listened to the bell ringing in the evenings. Would definitely stay there again.

Ideal York Location

Excellent apartment for visiting the center of old York with beautiful natural lighting. Bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, two full bathrooms, nice kitchen. Our only complaint is that there is no air conditioning and we happened to visit during an unusually warm stretch. The location of the apartment is phenomenal. You can walk to every attraction in the city center. Will definitely book this apartment on our next trip to York.

Perfection

Everything about our stay was perfect. The apartment was well thought out and had everything you needed and more besides. Perfect size for 2 couples. Immaculately clean . We all appreciated the treats in the welcome pack. The views of the Minster were breathtaking and the upstairs lounge area and wraparound balcony took full advantage of that. Also very close to everything . The Ivy and Betty’s were minutes away. We have stayed in many hotels in York but this apartment has set the bar so high that from now on we won’t stay anywhere else.

What a jewel!

My wife and I, and a friend, visited London, York and Edinburgh in May of 2024 and this was the best accommodation of the trip! Everything from location, ease of working with the property manager, patio(s), and on and on was simply fabulous! You pass into the building from the main entrance off a lovely road, then walk into the courtyard for a few hundred yards and wind up with this tremendous place and amazing view. We walked everywhere (the flat was may 15 minutes from the train station) and really, everything else we wanted was less than that. It was pure good fortune we found this listing and I do highly recommend it. We certainly would stay here again given the chance. If you are in York - you really owe it to yourself to stay here, I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed.

Possibly the best view from any property in York

This was our third stay in the property. It's changed hands since the last time in 2019, but overall it's been kept well. We noticed that whilst the general cleanliness was good , a couple of bit's on the lounge carpet had'nt been found, so wondered if the lounge had actually been fully cleaned ?, a minor thing really, but something you think should have been done. The cost is the other minor issue, York is a very expensive city for accomodation, I've known colleagues who've actually refused to stay in York over rental prices, so although the price has come down since it's height (of the covid "staycation" boom), the property was still more to stay in than previously. Stays York were as good as before at answering any questions and booking on the site is easy and quick too.

Fabulous location

Fabulous location, the view could not be better. However, it is not clear that you are unable to park outside to drop off luggage and that the lift wasn't working during our stay. With my mobility issues this was problematic. The apartment is very comfortable but could benefit from some updates, cracked bathroom tiles and shower needing re grouted. Also there were only 3 wine glasses in an apartment for 4 people. We did discover what I imagine was the fourth glass down the side of the dishwasher so obviously not thoroughly checked by cleaning ! None of this spoiled our stay but in an apartment of this level some nice diffusers, toiletries etc would have been a finishing touch.

The property is in a very central location and the street is subject to road closures as it only has pedestrian access during the day, I’m sorry this was not made clear to you at the time of booking. Great views of York Minster

Very comfortable apartment. Clean and well equipped. Beds comfortable. Views of the Minster from the terrace are stunning however the proximity to the Cathedral meant the very loud bell ringing went on rather too long for us. Many many hours in fact! The terrace is probably the main attraction with this apartment especially if you’re lucky with the weather as we were but I must add that no parasol is provided and we needed to sit with our umbrellas up as the sun was intense. I would’ve given this apartment top marks but our stay was marred by the entrance area being occupied mornings and evenings by the homeless using it to sleep in. It became a rather upsetting activity having to negotiate round a sleeping body whenever we went out and returned and on checking out with our luggage we needed to hang back in the hallway while said person carried out their morning ablutions. Of course I realise this occurrence is a sad fact of life in most cities and I have every sympathy, it just spoiled our stay.

Fabulous stay right in the ❤️ of York

This apartment was just amazing. The views of the Minster and rooftops of surrounding areas would be hard to beat. We just regretted not booking it for longer than 4 days. We checked to see if it was still available to extend our trip but sadly it wasn’t and we felt no other apartment could beat it so we didn’t want to leave York feeling disappointed. The weather was great so we made good use of the balcony area to enjoy an early morning coffee, listening to the bells of various churches/minster chiming. The check in/out process was so easy. Car park area is a 5 min walk to the apartment so with 2 kids/lots bags it was a bit trickier. For noting you can park anywhere in the council car park once you register with the Yorkstays who manage the apartment but in the welcome pack in the apartment it states you have to park in a specific spot. We panicked and ran back to car park as we didn’t want a ticket but once clarified with the company the welcome pack is outdated and the online info is correct so you can park in any space in Bootham car park. Apartment was really airy and bright, lots of storage. Great powerful shower in en suite. This was our 1st trip to York and it wont be our last. You are right in the heart of York so you do get noise from bars/buskers but with little ones we weren’t out late so it made us feel like we could still be involved with the hustle/bustle of the nightlife. There was a welcome pack on our arrival,lovely gesture. Thank you, we had a lovely time

Fantastic stay

Great family say at 11 Stonegate!

This beautiful apartment has panoramic views over York city and an unrivalled view of York Minister from its sunny roof terrace! Despite being located in the centre of town it was very quiet as the apartment is located quite far back from the street entrance. There were 3 generations in our group and everybody was blown away by the views - we would definitely like to return!

Beautiful, beautiful apartment.

My husband and I spent almost a month in York. We had the good fortune to book this amazing apartment. Beautifully decorated. Excellent art gracing all walls. Whomever decorated this beautiful abode had the soul of an artist. As far as a fully equipped kitchen there was nothing to be desired, everything was there. The view??? I do not believe there is a better view in York. The living area has floor to ceiling windows on three sides. The balcony is huge and equipped with comfortable, large, rattan, sectional couch. You just have to see it to believe the beauty. The owner, David was a delight. There was nothing, absolutely nothing we could have added to this apartment that would have added to our stay. It was all there.
