Fully renovated 4BR/2BA charmer sits on a large, tree-covered lot just steps from Bayshore Blvd and Ballast Point Park. Everything has been designed for maximum comfort and ease. You will love the spa-level bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms with plenty of storage. Fourth bedroom is set up as a sitting room and is a wonderful sunny space to enjoy morning coffee or curl up with a book. This room has a futon-style sofa. Kitchen is complete with top-of-the-line induction range and everything you need to whip up something fabulous. This home is also close to all of the wonderful restaurants and shopping that South Tampa has to offer.
15 minutes to Airport, 10 minutes to Downtown, Hyde Park Village, SoHo, 5 minutes to MacDill Air Force Base. Straight shot over the Gandy bridge to St Pete and all the beautiful beaches! 3 cruiser bikes provided so you can take advantage of all the great spots nearby.

An Incredible Home and Stay!!!

We just got home from a family wedding/vacation and stayed at this incredible property. It absolutely exceeded our expectations! It's beautifully updated with wonderful finishes and amenities. The open kitchen to the living areas, are fabulous for everyone to be together. It's so spacious and the den/extra bedroom was a great napping get-a-way. The home included everything we could think of to make our stay perfect. The kitchen and baths were completely stocked with everything we needed, and then some! They even had personal items in case you forgot something! The beds were SO comfortable and every room in the home was beautifully furnished. We loved their decor style! The yard was unbelieveable! It offered so much space to relax and backed to a natural setting for viewing butterflies and natural foliage. It was very private! If you have little ones, they offered a few swings, treehouse and lots of room to play. The house is close to everything we wanted to do while on our vacation! It's a great location in South Tampa! I highly recommend this home and hope to stay there again!

Jingle Bell Run weekend

Our family came to stay for the weekend as we took part in the annual Jingle Bell Run thru the arthritis foundation. The home was perfect in everyway. Such a beautiful home with all the amenities needed. Everything was very modern and updated. The owner thought of everything during our stay and the home was so clean and beds super comfy. Great communication with the owner whenever we had a quick question. We will definitely be planning return stays at this home when our family gets together again in the Tampa area.

Awesome house

we were working at MacDill AFB, the house was great. It is remodeled and was stocked up with all the essentials. I will be staying here again when my next Madill project comes around.

Beautiful stay

Our stay at Ballast Point was met with a nicely renovated home that is well thought out for guests. Ample space, clean towels etc and fully equipped kitchen. Janis the host communicated promptly with any responses. We enjoyed the bikes as well. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Highly recommend and look forward to the stay in our next visit!

Beautiful home and perfect location

This home is amazing! It's the best stay we've ever experienced through VRBO. The homeowner is so kind and easy to work with. The house is beautifully updated with so many items provided for occupants, and it even has everything you could possibly need for cooking! The location was perfect for us and easy to get to beautiful beaches (within 30 minutes). My family will plan to stay here every time we are in town to visit!

This adorable rental is a gem!

This adorable rental was a gem for us as we were in town for our son’s wedding which was being held just 5 min. away. It is very convenient to shopping, and delicious restaurants, if needed, along with a stroll along the bay. This house was beautifully updated, and is very, very clean which made it comforting to relax, enjoy, and sleep in a place that makes one feel at home. The owners really thought about everything anyone could need throughout the house, and communication was great from the beginning to the end of our stay. Thank you very much, we would definitely stay here again, and we highly recommend this VRBO.

I was born and raised in South Tampa as a third generation Floridian. Paul and I met in 1985 and lived in South Tampa together until 1989 when we moved to Naples where we still reside. My dream has always been to have a second home in Tampa where I have countless relatives and childhood friends. I have thoroughly enjoyed hosting family and friends gatherings and visiting many of our old “haunts” in Tampa along with the all the countless new things to do.
