This century old home recently underwent a massive renovation and is now hip and contemporary with a touch of historic charm. What makes this place awesome is it's close proximity to downtown. If you're coming to Hot Springs to sight-see, tour bath house row, hike the National Park or bike the new Northwoods Trail, you couldn't pick a better location for your stay.

The house is unique for several reasons. Not only is it historic, but the home's original builder purposely constructed the house with an angled design. In other words, the home isn't a typical square box. This is something you don't see every day, and I admire the original builder's eye for design. I would describe the feel of the home as contemporary, quaint and cozy. The bedroom has been outfitted with a luxurious new therapeutic mattress (one of the most comfortable I've ever felt) and a 50" smart TV. In addition, we've included mix of down pillows, gel pillows and super soft sheets on the bed for ultimate comfort. All furnishings are brand new and have been thoughtfully incorporated into this unique space. The bathroom is spa-like with the huge walk in shower!

Other features include fast wifi, two flatscreen Roku TVs, free Netflix and other streaming apps, coffee maker with an assortment of coffees, new stainless steel appliances and all the cookware you need to prepare a great meal at home. Great front porch and back patio for hanging out with friends and family.

The house sleeps up to 4 people. The sofa pulls out and there is an extra inflatable air mattress if needed.

NEW CLEANING PROCEDURES: We want you to know we’re doing our part to help our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc. This is done after every stay. We use a very professional and well-trained cleaning crew who uses only the best professional cleaning products. As an added precaution, we supply additional cleaning supplies for our guests to use during their stay.

Do not be fooled by the lovely pictures. This place is shabby, in a terrible neighborhood, and was dirty. Underwhelming to say the least. My fiancée and I moved out after a single night there and found a better place by the lake. Avoid.

Great Deal and Close to Everything!

This house was perfect for my wife and me. We had everything we needed and it was a short drive or quick walk to Bathhouse Row and all the restaurants, shops, and attractions. Beau was responsive to our questions and the house looked just like the pictures. We would stay again.

Clean and easy

Location was good to downtown but due to other activities we chose to drive. Everything was clean and easy to check-in. Communication was great from owner. Easily like a home away from home.

A Perfect Hideway

The Hideaway was an ideal place to relax, read, watch movies and enjoy the presence of someone you love. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood and located within walking distance of the Historic District, gift shopping and bathhouses. The accommodations are comfortable, beautifully decorated and stocked with amenities you would find in a five star hotel. Be prepared to climb a few stairs, as it is not designed for persons with disabilities.

Great Getaway

Beau’s renovated home “the Hideaway” is a perfect small home that gives you a city Flat vibe such as a ‘Pied a Terre’. Great for a couple or business person, the Hideaway offers a quiet setting in a once neglected area that is slowly being revitalized! It’s safe and conveniently located within walking distance to the northern end of all thing’s historic downtown Hot Springs. Inside the home, you will see it was recently renovated! Plan on getting a restful night sleep on the extremely comfortable king mattress! The bathroom offers a generous sized, tiled, walk in shower too! We were comfortable the entire time we were in the home!

Cute, clean, comfortable

Very clean, nicely decorated, cute property with great bed and nice linens. Easy check in, but would have preferred 3 o’clock instead of 4! Parking on street was easy, short drive to bath house row. Walking was 15-20 min easy walk to baths/downtown restaurants, but we decided to drive after walking it. As another reviewer said it is up steep stairs to enter property - not a problem for us but might be if someone in your group can’t do stairs. Kitchen nice but could use a good knife, cutting board, a tea kettle and salt! All in all a good place to stay. Thank you!

Comfortable spot, great location

The Hideaway is well-located in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for easy access to downtown Hot Springs and other area attractions. (Garvan Woodland Garden highly recommended). The interior is attractive with comfortable seating, a good, firm bed, and a fabulous shower. Communication with the hosts was timely and made for easy front door access. It worked well for a stay of several days for two of us. Our only reasons for a 4-star rather than a 5 rating have to do needed upgrades to the porch and patio furnishings. We also found upon arrival that the property sits well above the street with two sets of steps, one short set, one long. Good handrails and lighting are provided. Would give 4.5 rating if that was available.

Hot Springs stay

Overall the property was clean and comfortable. Our issues were with safety. The neighborhood was in a low rent area (sketchy). Parking was on the street across from the house, and had to go up two sets of steep steps to get in the unit. No deadbolt lock on door, just keypad entry. Not secure feeling at all!

Hi Beverly. I do apologize that you did not feel safe. We were not addressed with any concern you had at the house. I assure you and any future guests that we have not had any issues with the "area" being sketchy. The steps are disclosed in pictures of the unit, and the keypad entry is a deadbolt type entry, along with a deadbolt on the back door as well.

Tranquility near downtown.

This property was kept in top notch condition. Many of the original features of the home are still intact adding to the nostalgic value of the stay. The bed was super comfortable! It was an all around great spot for our few days away!

Great little house

The house was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. I really liked that the bathroom was separate from the bedroom so we wouldn’t disturb my sleeping daughter when we got ready for bed. There are several steep steps leading from the road to the house so keep that in mind if you have trouble with stairs. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoon and evening. The location is really close to the bathhouse row district. You could probably walk it if you wanted. We didn’t due to having our toddler in a stroller. Overall, great stay!

Apt was cute and easily accessible to Bathhouse row, as advertised. Would recommend if stopping through Hot Springs.

My wife, Sharay, and I live and work in Hot Springs. I am a real estate attorney and also own/operate a real estate brokerage. Sharay is a pharmacist. We both grew up in Hot Springs and love everything about the lifestyle here. When we got married over a decade ago, we both decided that we wanted to live and raise our family in Hot Springs. We have two young sons and love spending time with them doing all the activities Hot Springs has to offer. Our goal is simply to provide an exceptional vacation rental experience for each of our guests. Each of our properties is different and unique; however, on all properties we strive for superior level of professionalism, quality and cleanliness so our guests are happy and comfortable. The neighborhood is very charming and quaint and is located within the Park Avenue Historic District. The home is perched up on a hill overlooking the surrounding area - definitely a cool place to relax and hang out. I own the two adjoining homes as well, which are also available on VRBO.
