Derrière une porte de jardin, à travers votre entrée privée se trouve une retraite confortable et lumineuse. Ce studio écologique impeccable dispose d'un lit queen-size confortable avec des draps de luxe, de l'eau filtrée et est nettoyé avec des produits biologiques.

Les sols en caryer et les tapis orientaux taillés à la main récemment rénovés de Tuckaway ne sont que quelques-uns des exemples de notre souci du détail. Nouveaux comptoirs en granit dans la cuisine et la salle de bain avec tous les nouveaux luminaires et le sol en pierre dans la salle de bain.

Venez être enchanté dans les jardins paysagers avec banc assis couvert qui sont très privés. Les jardins comprennent une fontaine éclairée, plus de 1 200 pieds carrés de patio en briques incrustées personnalisées avec vue sur l'océan et la plage. Foyer sur mesure en brique surélevée en bois / gaz, salons en teck et un canapé pour profiter du soleil ou des soirées avec des plantes indigènes et un éclairage basse tension bien placé qui jette une lueur spéciale. Bill was attentive and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the outside patio area and ocean view from the high top table and chairs. The home was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Downtown Carmel was very close, we went to Mission Ranch for dinner more than once, it is less than 5 minutes away. This was great for a long weekend stay for two people.

Perfect location! The owner could not have been more accommodating! Showing us around and giving us tips in where to go. Grounds were beautifully maintained and lots of books to enjoy! And everything we wanted to do is only 5-15 minutes away. Warning: we WILL be back! Loved it!

The property was amazing! The yard was extremely spacious and was great for our dogs to run around. The location of the home is perfect as it is right off the Route 1, but far enough so there is no noise pollution. Additionally, it is just minutes away from downtown Carmel and nearby shopping plazas. Check-in was a breeze and the room and bed was the perfect size for me, my wife, and my 2 dogs.

My husband and I enjoyed this lovely studio immensely with its beautifully maintained surroundings and private patio. Tons of privacy and a view of the ocean in the distance. The owner, Bill, was so accommodating and hands-on with our needs. Minutes away from all kinds of amenities. We highly recommend this special little gem. Very pet friendly too. We truly think you won’t be disappointed!

The Tuckaway was a truly magical property. We will never forget it! Bill did an incredible job when we arrived of explaining the very unique property and building as well as the surrounding area. The garden is just otherworldly. We so enjoyed happy hour there at the end of every day as well as meditating in the peaceful beauty. Highly recommend! Five minutes into town for phenomenal meals and shopping as well.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and, unfortunately, left feeling that the overall value didn’t match the price. While the location and garden area are undeniably lovely, the actual living space fell short of expectations.The unit itself is a very small, outdated studio that felt quite cramped for a comfortable stay. Although there was coffee provided, basic additions like creamer or milk were missing, which felt like an oversight at this price point.The owner was kind enough to give us a thorough walkthrough upon arrival, which we appreciated. However, some of the details shared didn’t quite align with reality—for example, we were told the bathroom featured “the finest soaps,” but they appeared to be dish soap.The outdoor garden space is beautiful and well-kept, but ultimately, guests are paying to sleep and relax indoors. For us, the interior accommodations simply didn’t justify the cost, even with the added charm of the exterior.Overall, while there are some positives, we don’t feel the experience matched what we expected for the price.

I was surprised that these guests didn't say something to me as the property and studio has many professional photos and video of the interior as well as exterior. The soaps are Not dish soap but expensive liquid hand soap as well as bar soaps. The interior is not dated but has custom rugs, new windows and window coverings and a custom 4 foot round copper dining table as well as a new custom bed and headboard. Sugar was in the cabinet and milk was in the refrigerator, I guess they didn't look.

The plicate patio was to die for! Calm, quiet, and peaceful. A tranquil getaway. It felt private from the main house. Bill was very helpful and met us at check in to show us the keys and give us a tour.

The Hardwood floors are of hand scraped Hickory Pecan & Walnut with oriental rugs,all new cabinets & light fixtures as well as a stacked Mieie Washer & Dryer.There is an Ocean view Custom Inlaid Brick Patio area with Teak coushion Chaise Lounges, great two person Hammocks as well as a Brick Gas/Wood burning fire Pit! There is also a designated off street parking space for the 'Tuckaway' All of this and close to Downtown Carmel-By-The-Sea!

Just 10 minutes away is the Well known Monterey Fishermans Wharf and Stienbeck Cannery Row with many gift shops & restaurants!
