Lovely place! The location was incredibly convenient. Host communication was excellent, too, best I've experienced. Very nice folks. Charming space, spotlessly clean, very easy no-stress check-in/checkout. Would absolutely stay with these hosts again and would highly recommend them to anyone!

We loved the unit, it was clean and the proximity to everything in Carmel was wonderful. We really loved reading and spending time out on the balcony (once we determined the snakes on the roof next to us we fake decoys)We gave this 4 out of 5

This flat is an awesome location in downtown Carmel by the Sea! Literally steps to breakfast bistro’s or fine dining and everything in between. The weather was fantastic and we had a magical experience while visiting. So glad we were able to find this gem for our last minute trip!!

The location was perfect- right in the middle of Carmel-by-the-Sea. While it is in a busy little area there isn’t any noise at night as everything really quiets down by 9 PM. Everything is very walkable, including all of the shops, restaurants, the beach, etc.. The property has a very Carmel-vibe in that it is semi hidden and tucked back in a courtyard just off a main strip. The inside also has a very eclectic cottage like vibe.And this has also been said by other reviewers, but if you do have a rental car, you do have to either move your car every two hours during the daytime or park it about a half mile away in the neighborhood. We didn’t find that too cumbersome as you can find spots downtown fairly reasonably. We did not find the parking issue to be a deterrent at all to this property.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It met our needs very well. It was nice to pop back in during the day and have more space than a hotel room. We also loved being so close to everything - though there was restaurant noises till 10 pm between Toro, the Coffee Shop and Hogsbreath. Still would choose it again - just wore my earplugs!

Cute place, perfect for two. There's everything you would need if you're cooking in. But, with all the great restaurants nearby, why would you. Sitting on the balcony and sipping our wine and eating cheese and crackers was awesome. The bed was comfy as well as the furniture. We couldn't of had a better experience staying downtown, walking the sidewalks and visiting the shops. The host was quick with replies when we had questions. Thank you for a great vacation!

We were expecting a smaller place, but it was a perfect size for two. The flat was central to everything we wanted to see. The village is set on a hillside, so be prepared for some hill walks. Parking requires a hike up the public parking lot. Carmel is wonderful village! Our accommodations added to our enjoyment! Wonderful art and food!

The Artists Way was one of my favorite rentals I have ever stayed in. It is so cute and in such a great location for walking downtown. I highly recommend anyone coming to Carmel to stay here. I would absolutely stay here again!

The property is accessible to everything that downtown Carmel offers. There are restaurants just outside its doors and the interior of the space is welcoming and darling. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and people watching and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Right in the middle of beautiful downtown Carmel! Our dogs were happy in the space and we were able to take them on walks easily. The apartment is right above some businesses making it easy to get exploring right away. The space itself was so cozy and a great vibe! Would definitely recommend to friends if they want to experience the heart of downtown Carmel! If you’re worried about it being too close to the restaurant/businesses, everything closes early or around 9:30pm in that area so it gets quiet by 10:00pm and the locals were always so friendly to us. We would love to come back and stay here again!
