Tucked away in a very convenient location of Shipyard is this cozy and comfortable little slice of beach heaven. This two-story pet-friendly Shipyard villa with terrific views of a lagoon and golf course, will be your comfort zone for sure. You can bring the entire family, including your pooch to pet-friendly Hilton Head Island!

Two living rooms allow some privacy as well as space for planning your day or just enjoying the TV’s or the back deck and views. Step inside to find a comfortable living room (one step down) with bar area and queen sleep sofa along with comfortable décor. The half bath is conveniently located in the short hall, along with the laundry duo.

The second living room is across from the bright and colorful kitchen and dining area that comfortably seats 8. A leather sofa and two armchairs along with a flat screen TV will keep you entertained while meals are being prepared. The kitchen is the perfect space for cooking those favorite family dishes while being able to keep the cook company. Comfortable seating offers space for everyone. Here you can step outside to enjoy the lagoon and golf course views or have lunch at the patio table. Sun-bathing is another option where you can use the deck or the community pool facilities. There is also a grill available for guests to use.

Beachwalk 138 comfortably sleeps 8 guests in 3 bedrooms. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs, along with three full baths. The primary suite has a king size sleigh bed with TV, a spacious private bath, plenty of closet space and wonderful views of the lagoon or golf course (one of 3 – nine-hole golf courses in Shipyard). Bedroom 2 offers a comfortable queen bed, TV and is across the hall from the full bath with tub/shower combination. Bedroom 3 also has a queen bed, TV and a private bath with tub/shower.

Relax after a day of golfing, shopping, enjoying the beach, sunbathing, riding bikes, sightseeing on Hilton Head Island or just doing nothing. Beachwalk is the closest villa complex to the beach in Shipyard and has an on-site communal pool. In addition, the golf and racquet clubs, and the Sonesta Resort are close by. This complex is not equipped with elevators, use of stairs would be required. All beach distances are measured from the center of the complex.

Shipyard, Hilton Head is tucked away in the historic Oaks on the south shore of Hilton Head Island with 12 miles of white sandy beach, bike paths, lagoons, championship golf at the Shipyard Golf Club, tennis courts at the Van der Meer Racquet Club and an abundance of natural beauty. Shipyard Plantation boasts the charm of the South Carolina Lowcountry, a laid-back coastal atmosphere and easy access to Hilton Head’s shopping, restaurants and top activities.

A non-refundable fee of $225.00 per pet plus tax is required if you are bringing a pet. Max is 2 dogs; 75 pounds per dog.

Car passes are $35 plus tax per car. 2 Car passes max.

Beautiful and airy condo in Beachwalk! It was perfect for our family and dogs. I love this area because of how easy it is to walk or drive to the beach! We walked each day but there was plenty of close parking if necessary. The condo was very spacious and I liked the double living rooms since we used the pull out sofa, we just turned that into another bedroom for the kids. 3 full bathrooms and a half bath is uncommon and it was great! Having the view of the lagoon out back was nice as well. Only issue we had, wasn’t the owners fault, was that the pool was supposed to be open and they had a sign posted that there was no swimming until 3/31. Our kids were disappointed with that, but not the end of the world. I’d definitely recommend and stay here again!

Excellent property

We have stayed in several areas in Shipyard Plantation and this was by far our favorite. We loved the proximity to the beach. We will definitely use this again in the future.

Comfortable and great location

Well equipped for a family of 6 - just a 6 minute walk to the beach. Had a disruption when brown water poured through the kitchen ceiling one morning but the problem soon stopped and did not reoccur. Also one queen size mattress was creaky and uncomfortable but everything else was great.

The good & the bad, ignore vayk credit!!

Overall for our stay positives generally outweighed negatives. We’ve stayed @ other beachwalk units & LOVE the location. A short walk/bike ride to beach access & pool also very close by. This unit was well stocked w/ kitchen cook/glassware, Brita, keurig & utensils as well as soaps,t.p,foil,coffee filt,p.t. We found extra blankets/pillows in closets upstairs & downstairs console, a few dog toys, bowls, & baby gate. The unit layout was very spacious & thoughtful (new/more seating would b nice in living r). we greatly appreciated carpet stairs/area rugs, esp since handrails don’t exist in these units (ppl/dog have slipped in units w/o carpet stairs). Gate on back porch was also great. The negatives Our 1st day was by far the worst. When the 1st of us arrived to get the car passes we found only 1, which was on us, we hadn’t checked texts from them & emails had gone to spam. staff was incredibly rude from the second we contacted them, which can be expected working w/ sunset rentals. Initially they said we only paid for 1 pass so we’ll only get 1. When we said we were happy to pay for the addtl 2 they said we’d only be allowed 1 more per shipyard rules, which we know is untrue from past years. They transferred us to someone else who said she’d charge for 2 & see what happens but had no idea how long they’d take to be ready, all she could do was send the request to shipyard once we’d paid. Meanwhile we’d received a text that cleaning was behind & we now couldn’t check in until 5:30. Once we were finally able to get into the unit we found trash by the front door that had ripped open at the bottom with trash spilling out, disposal wasn’t working but had fruit/other food sitting in it which had lead to 2 types of flies all over the unit. We went out and bought a hex key & fly traps & were able to get the disposal going & flies somewhat under control. Other than 1 HUGE palmetto bug & the flies it was as bug free as any other rental we’ve stayed at. The cable box thing went out in the master on 2nd night, can’t speak for the ones in the other rooms as we didn’t use them, the 2nd bedroom sink didn’t drain well, & other than the master the beds were definitely some of the most uncomfortable that we’ve experienced on the island… we were a little sore but it was manageable. Unsure whether we’ll stay again, we prefer not to work w/ sunset rentals, that aside it was a fairly good stay. If you receive vayk credit ignore it! see google review for details

Hi Julia, I am sorry that your stay was not what you had hoped. I wanted to address some of the issues that you have mentioned above. The Shipyard POA sent out a notice in February stating that rentals are only allowed two car passes per reservation. We are aware of how this hinders many travelers coming to the island but we have no way to control this. I will be happy to send over that communication that came directly from the POA to all of the rental agencies. I am sure it is no surprise to you that not only our island but the nation as a whole is experiencing great staffing shortages. This does not exclude the housekeeping companies that we have contracted. Our housekeepers work as hard and as fast as they can to ensure that you can get into your unit in a timely manner. Sometimes they just can't get it all done in a 7 hour window. We would have been more than happy to address all of your concerns mentioned above had we had known. We encourage our guests to contact us immediately if anything is wrong with their unit or their stay. Our Guest Experience Manager will be reaching out to discuss your stay. We value our guests and their opinions and feedback matter.

Rude/dirty/ poor customer service!

We made arrangements on Thursday, 9-17-2020. We were fleeing Hurricane Sally. We called on Saturday, 9-19-2020 around noon to ask if our condo was ready early, could we enter, willing to pay early fees. The woman was quite rude and said we would be text when the condo was ready and no sooner. We received a text at 1600 that the condo was clean and ready! We had done our grocery shopping, arrived at the condo at 1600. Unloaded the car in the front foyer. Then went to look at condo. To our horror, beds unmade with dirty linen still on them, dirty laundry, dirty dishes in dishwasher, dirty refrigerator. In this year of COVID, as a healthcare worker who takes care of COVID patients, entering a dirty condo was a nightmare! NO CLEANING had been done! Called company who patched me to housekeeping. The man I spoke to told me “ You don’t have to stay there!” As controlled as I could be, I asked him where he wanted me to go, as my groceries were thawing on the counter? So, we were not able to have our condo until 1830! No apologies, just rudeness! Very unhappy with your customer service!
