Quick walk to the beach, easy check in, bikes provided to ride to the light house. We enjoyed watching the manatee and dolphins with our morning coffee. Very comfortable space to stay in.

We had family members staying nearby at tortuga beach club so this condo was perfect for convenience. Clean, spacious and everything went smoothly. looking forward to renting this unit again in the future.

We have stayed in Sanibel many times over the last 25 years but this is the first time we have used VRBO. We had a lovely time, the house was beautiful and very well stocked with everything you could need. We live on the East Coast so had brought beach chairs, towels etc none of which were necessary.The unit we had was on the water and it was magical to sit and look out at the water and there were daily Manatee visitors across the canal.We hope to be back soon! Thank you for a lovely time!

We had a great stay! The property was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach. We also enjoyed the wildlife in the canal, especially the manatees! We would stay here again!

Short trip to Sanibel

Stayed at Lighthouse Villa for 3 nights. Loved Sanibel and enjoyed the beaches. Lighthouse villa is very conveniently located in walking distance to the beach. Great location with kids.

Wonderful experience!

Will definitely stay there again. Saw manatees in canal outside the back door several times. Place was clean. Excellent communication with the host.

Was not able to make it due to winter storm that covered most of the country with ice and snow. Tried to see if they would swap dates as this storm was all over the news, host was unwilling so we lost our money as we could not get there. Was looking forward to it as we had stayed here about 20 years ago. Was trip for our anniversary.

Lighthouse Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was excellent. Great location and very nice townhouse. We live in southeast Florida and try to go to Sanibel at least once a year. It’s a perfect getaway for us. Hopefully we will be able to reserve the lighthouse for future trips.

The condo was beautiful, updated, clean, and very cozy. The bed in the master was great! We loved the canal in the back, we saw several manatees. It is pretty good walk to get to the beach access, but it’s a straight, flat walk so it’s not too bad.

We like it so much it’s our go-to on Sanibel

Close to the ocean and on a quiet dead-end street. It sits on the canal where you can watch manatees. We brought our own coffee pot as it has a Keurig and we drink lots of coffee.

Sanibel after Hurricane

The apartment is spacious and was clean! Proximity to the beach is great! Still some cleanup on the island, but you could go on vacation. The two beds were very good, the sofa bed was not good and worn out. This should be renewed. All in all, I can recommend the accommodation.

Perfect choice

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely be back. While amazed at the recovery efforts on Sanibel and Captiva Islands, there is still ways to go. Did not influence the enjoyment of our stay in The Lighthouse at all, everything is new. We used the onsite bicycles and walks to the beach and shopped locally. Was pretty sad to pack up and leave, so much more we wanted to do.
