This home was PERFECT!! Everything you would need for a fabulous vacation. Updated everything . . . clean, awesome location, decorated beautifully, lots of places to sit and enjoy the Florida weather.

They refused early check in but we parked nearby and it was clearly ready. Arrived at 4pm check in time, found maintenance worker in the house to supposedly fix a towel bar (more later). The house was 86 degrees and the a/c was turned off. It took two hours for the A/c to drop the house 2 degrees. First evening was very disappointing and uncomfortable. Also upon arrival, garbage bin outside was completely full along with multiple bags sitting around it that appeared to have been there for weeks. They sent clear instructions that someone from the company would take bins to end of driveway on Wednesday. They arrived and did that, but ONLY brought down the recycling and left all of the garbage bags and the bin alone, leaving it for us to smell. We took the bin down on our own that night but the bags outside were very gross and messy that we left those. Called the management company to make them aware and they didn’t seem concerned or apologetic. Thursday afternoon, we were showering to get ready for dinner. Getting out of the shower we noticed sound from the front door. The maintenance worker had let himself in, no notice was given to us that he would even be coming by. We did not hear him knock. Some of us were not dressed. He claimed he was there to ‘fix a towel bar’ again but none of the towel had issues. Creepy. On check out day, a couple arrived for a showing (house is for sale) 1 hour before check out time?? House was clean, great location. Bad mgmt

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the home’s cleanliness and great location, though we’re very sorry that several aspects of your stay did not meet expectations.
Regarding early check-in, while we always try to accommodate requests when possible, we’re unable to guarantee early arrivals as our team often needs the full window between guests to complete cleaning, inspections, and any maintenance items. In this case, a technician was finishing up a repair shortly before your arrival, which is why someone was still onsite at the start of the check-in window.
We also apologize for the temperature in the home when you arrived. Our thermostats are set to energy-saving settings when the property is unoccupied, and occasionally it can take some time for the home to cool back down once the system is adjusted.
We appreciate you bringing the trash situation to our attention as well. That certainly isn’t the experience we want for our guests, and we will be reviewing this with our field team to ensure both trash and recycling are handled properly going forward.
We’re especially sorry for the inconvenience and discomfort caused by the unexpected maintenance visit. Our policy is to notify guests before anyone enters the home whenever possible, and we will be reinforcing this expectation with our team.
Lastly, the property is currently listed for sale, and showings are permitted with notice per the rental agreement. However, they should always respect the guest’s stay and scheduled departure time, and we will review this situation internally to ensure it is handled appropriately in the future.
