The Cosmic Folly Space Ranch
We bought and renovated this Folly ranch in fall 2019. There is a beach access path immediately out the front door, and from the backyard and back porch there are sweeping views of the marsh and Folly River.
Upstairs has three bedrooms and one bathroom, plus a full kitchen, living room, and 500 sq foot back porch. Downstairs has a bedroom with a queen, a bonus room with a trundle bed, another full kitchen, a full bathroom, a spacious living room with foosball and a train table, and a covered back patio storage area. In the backyard there is a big enclosed outdoor shower and a trampoline and climbing dome (liability waiver required)
You can walk to the beach in 60 seconds! And youâre a 20-minute walk, 8-minute bike ride, or 4-minute drive from restaurants on Center Street.

We have lived on Folly Beach since 2006. Hunter is a native Charlestonian and Stratton was a Navy brat. We bought the Space Ranch from our neighbor in 2019. After a renovation, we lived there during the pandemic. Now it's available for guests. We live two doors down and are always available if you need anything.

The Cosmic Folly Space Ranch is a historic (1960), unique brick home on Folly Beach. Upstairs is full of natural light and features two bedrooms plus the bonus play room with the spaceship bunkbed. There's also the massive back porch. Downstairs is funky and cool but there's not much natural light. It has a bedroom, bathroom and the additional sleeping area.

Walk to the beach in 45-60 seconds! And then enjoy sunset from the back porch. We're one mile from Center Street, so close enough to walk to dinner on the beach, but away from the day tripper traffic during peak weekends.
