Kitchen had what was needed to cook. Didn't have coffee filters. We left some. Bath tub floor very slippery. No bars to hold on to. Otherwise very satisfied. Would book again.

Great location on Isla Verde Beach. The only issue was a noisy toilet water valve, and an exceedingly rude security guard downstairs, angry because I parked in a totally unmarked parking spot for ten minutes while my mom visited me in her car. Called me names, threatened me with calling the police, even after apologized...just stay away from that dotard.

Nice, cozy apartment with all you need to have a pleasant stay. Pictures are pretty accurate, and surprisingly, the sofa bed is very comfy. Check in and out process was easy. The host provided all the information you need timely and was promptly responsive to my questions. Beach access is within a short 5 min walk with plenty of fast foods, restaurants, pharmacies and grocery stores right outside the apartment building. It is basically next to the airport, so be prepared for the noise, but you get used to it. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location

We wanted a place near the airport for the last part of our stay. We also wanted to be near the beach and have a pool on property. This place checked all those boxes. There were all the things you needed to enjoy the beach and pool in a closet. Had to get some clarification about how to navigate the gate security as that was not clear instructions but host was prompt to respond. Do know you are convenient to the airport and that comes with airport noise.

Front door lock did not latch tightly, it felt very unsafe-like it could easily be kicked in. There was no other added security lock on the inside of the apartment to reinforce the door. Thankfully, nothing bad happened, but that made me uneasy the entire stay. Also the pipes/plumbing would intermittently make very loud noises throughout the day/night.

Location, location, location

Great location with ocean views, across the street from San Juan hotel (where we stayed for work trip), walking distance to grocery stores, beach access, restaurants and airport. Great pool area, coin laundry with many machines. Condo is dated, so don’t expect it to match pics, as I think we’re taken many years ago. Owner should consider updating living room couch, but bed was comfortable and he had great beach stuff to use. Thank you!

My two week stay in Puerto Rico

My wife and I spent two weeks at this apartment in January , 2025. The building is gated, secure and well maintained. The apartment met our expectations. It was clean, adequate in size and appropriately stocked to do basic cooking. We had two minor issues that David addressed and resolved right away. The apartment is near the airport so there is noise from aircraft landing and taking off. We knew this so we were ok with it. Overall, we had a very good experience at David's apartment and would recommend to other travellers.

Incredible Experience

It’s very difficult to put into words how much of a pleasure staying in the unit was my fiancé and me. Every aspect was impeccable and I can’t think of any way to improve things. The tennis courts were great…when the rain came, we went under the large patio/entertainment area and played dominoes. Once the rain stopped, we enjoyed the large pool with 2 fountains until it was time for dinner. We prepared our own meals in the cozy kitchen and found our way to the beach for moonlit stroll. We spent the majority of another day at the beach (easy access across street) while wrapping up with another dinner followed by playing pool down the street. Around the corner is the best gelato/smoothie/shake on planet- Piu Bella!We are bummed it’s not available for our next trip down AND we will always check for it to be our #1st choice!Building staff and residents were very friendly, helpful and welcoming!Treasure!

Pros: Clean at check-in, good location.
Cons: Multiple maintenance issues, poor host communication.I would rate this rental 2/5 stars. The only reasons I didn't give it 1 star are that the host accommodated a one-week reservation change and provided bottled water during a local water rationing period.The biggest issue was a major water leak from the upstairs unit that damaged our luggage. We reported both the leak and the damage, and while he acknowledged the leak he ignored the damage to our personal property, which was extensive. Our request for partial compensation was denied, and no responsibility or remorse was shown. Fortunately, Vrbo reviewed our video evidence of the damage and resolved the issue. Another problem was excessive noise from outside due to a broken bedroom window that would not fully close. We reported this as well, but it was ignored. Based on other reviews, this appears to be an ongoing issue for quite some time.Overall, I would not recommend this rental. While the host communicated frequently, responses were selective and failed to address major concerns. Vrbo intervention was required to resolve issues. There are many comparable rentals in the San Juan area at similar price points that offer a better experience. Most of the evidence of issues were in the form of videos which I cannot attach. I have attached photos of the water issue and some of our wet items and the broken window.
