We had a long weekend stay for Fall Break, with 2 adults and 2 teens. Kitchen is well stocked with basics for preparing quick meals. Balcony overlooks lazy river and out to Bay. Skybridge makes the walk to the beach easy. The Okaloosa Island Boardwalk and Pier are a quick walk down the beach. The Island has beach service for snacks and drinks when you rent the beach chairs. Check in and out was simple. I used Walmart+ delivery and DoorDash and had no issues getting our items delivered to the door. Nice condo in a great location with lots of amenities and nearby restaurants and attractions! We would stay here again!

Destin West Pelican 605

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but the condo was really clean. The owner responded to messages promptly. We were looking forward to the large bathtub having jets but we discovered it did not when we arrived. The view from our balcony was beautiful and the facility has wonderful amenities.

A Memorial Day Getaway

This condo was just perfect for our quick family getaway. The condo's air worked so well. We all like to sleep cold and that is hard to do in Florida. The lazy river was a favorite.

Wonderful stay! Would stay again!

We had a wonderful time and the condo was very clean, decorated well and comfortable beds! We had plenty of space for our family of 5 (we honestly could have slept 8 comfortably!) We were at the pool/lazy river almost every day; such a pretty view from the balcony. Well stocked with a few essentials before we arrived (TP, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent etc). Easy/safe access to the beach from a pedestrian sky bridge over the highway. Already planning to return for family vacation next year!

Christmas Vacation

We decided to spend the Christmas holiday at the beach. We asked the kids which beach they wanted to go to, and of course it was Fort Walton! We have stayed at Destin West previously and love it. 605 Pelican was the best condo we stayed in thus far :). Very clean. Well stocked kitchen and the beds were very comfortable too. Destin West Resort offers the best of both worlds, the beautiful bay and access to the ocean. Check-in was quite simple. Check-out was just as easy. Overall a wonderful experience, celebrating The holiday with the people that mean the most :)

Family meet up

We enjoyed our stay at Pelican 605. It was clean and the view was wonderful. We did have a problem with the dishwasher that was able to have a temporary fix until a new one could be put in after our stay. The response to our problem was very quick. We gave it a 4 for location because you weren’t able to walk around to many locations due to traffic and current construction. Maybe a sidewalk is being put in that would make that easier. The condo itself was very nice and the pools were wonderful!

Vacation/baseball

This place was amazing!!!!! The pool area was awesome! My kids loved it!!! You can walk to restaurants and shops! Very well located!! We came for baseball tournament, but was able to find time for pool/beach/family time!! Highly recommend this condo!!! Stunning views, very clean, beautiful and had everything you need! We would definitely stay in this condo again!!! Very spacious master bedroom and bathroom! The kids loved the bunk beds! One of the cleanest condos we have ever stayed in!! Lots to do in Destin- only 7 minutes away is Harbor Village- lots of things to do! Our friends recommended Sea Blaster- sunset dolphin cruise- 10/10!!!! So much fun!! If you are looking for a beautiful condo- definitely stay here:)!

Relaxing trip

Great condo decor and comfortable beds. Liked the pool view. The beach is not a bad walk at all to a private beach . Rental chairs available to purchase. Clean and with plenty of room. Kitchen supplied with all u need to cook . A/c works great. I found the blankets in the guest bedroom closet during our stay . Close to some great food . I would stay here again

Clean and convenient condo

The condo was clean, beautifully decorated, and well maintained. The balcony view was nice of the bay side and lazy river. The elevator wasn’t too busy during our stay for getting to the skywalk to access the beach side with wagon/kids. The proximity to the boardwalk for dining and shopping was nice and convenient. Thanks for a great stay!

My family & I stayed at Destin West-Pelican 605 for a week this summer for vacation. We had the absolute best time! The condo was spotless & the view over looking the lazy river & bay was amazing! Especially at night when that area was lit up! If you have little ones the lazy river is sure to be a hit with them as well as the adults! :) All the staff we came in contact with at Destin West were very friendly & super helpful if we had any questions. We will be back! You can not go wrong booking your next vacation with Coastal Vibe Vacations as they were very great to work with & helped make our stay enjoyable!!!!

Clean and easy

We had lovely stay. Check in and out was as easy as it gets. Unit was clean and comfortable. My tall son appreciated the bigger size bottom bunk. Convenient to the elevator but not at all loud. Great place!
