Family friendly Summerhouse 405a resort beach gulf front condo

This two bedroom, two bath condo has an open floor plan offering a gulf view from every room. The fourth floor unit is only a two minute walk to the beach or to the resort pools.
The living space is 1075 ft and sleeps eight. The master bedroom has a beautiful gulf view , king bed, and en-suite bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed, one bunk bed, and a bath shared with common area. A sleeper sofa is in the living room.
We offer a kitchen with many amenities to cook family meals or entertain. For the beach we provide free beach/umbrella service for two, chairs, umbrellas, dolly, and toys. For nighttime entertainment we have cable, Netflix, a large selection of DVD’s, games and puzzles.
Summerhouse resort has convenient parking, a tennis court, shuffleboard, gas and bbq grills, billiards, arcade, spacious lobby, hot tub, and three pools . The location is close to St. Andrews State Park and popular restaurants, shopping and attractions.

We had a great time staying here! Condo was fully loaded, had tons of beach equipment, and was right off the beach! Condo was very clean and accessible to many shopping centers and restaurants! Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing Beach condo!!

we’ve stayed at the Summerhouse Condos before but this is by far the cleanest and nicest condo we've ever had. it was decorated cute, has great beach views, and the host is amazing. we will definitely be staying here again

Nice trip to PCB

We had a nice trip. Accommodations were nice, the beds were super comfortable and we had all we needed in the condo. The kids loved the snacks! We had a few issues with the elevator being down but Holly was very responsive and overall things were well taken care of.

Fantastic with all the extras!

Not only is the view amazing, so is the condo. The building itself is older, but you would never know once you step inside. The condo is updated and stocked with everything else you may need or want, and didn’t pack. Will definitely stay again!

Oldie but goodie!!! Built in 1984. We fell in love with the view ourselves and the groundskeeper makes the pool area immaculate! I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed our Haven and appreciate the extras. Great vacation!!

This was my first experience staying in a condo and it exceeded all of my expectations. The owner was great, responded back quickly to all questions. The condo was clean and immaculate. The pool area was nice and the beach was beautiful. The condo came with tons of beach stuff, chairs, umbrellas, and a beach wagon to carry it all in. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Perfect place - beach or poolside

This is a perfect place to be on the beach or at the poolside.in Panama City beach. Nice decor, great view, very clean, and the owner thoughtfully provided little extras like beach toys, wagon, a carryall tote as well as an umbrella station with two chairs on the beach. We liked it because it’s on Thomas Road which is quiet and has less traffic but still has the availability of great places to eat and things to do. . Would definitely go back.

Perfect Paradise

This rental is perfect in every way! Very nicely renovated, stocked with so many extra supplies for the beach, and so clean and inviting! This is our second stay in this unit and we are already planning for next year. We had several people asking us for the rental information. On our unit because we were so pleased and bragging on our unit. It’s simply home away from home in a perfect paradise.

This condo was beautiful! Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Holly was wonderful to deal with. She kept in touch prior to the trip and was easy to get a hold of when we needed her for a very minor issue with the door lock (which she resolved quickly). The master bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in while on vacation. We will definitely return!

Quiet side of PCB

The manager is great to work with, and good communication. Good location on the quiet side. Only 2 miles from St Andrews state park. Several good restaurants close by. Beach chairs were included which is a great perk plus she has wagon chairs and toys in storage. We did not need them but it’s nice to have. On 4th floor with good views of pool and beach. Only complaint is the game room charges for everything, so can get pricey with a couple of kids.

Great communication with the owner Holy She even let us check in early. She texted to check on us. Recommended things and places for us to see. The location was wonderful. Right on the beach .beautiful absolutely beautiful condo. Everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable beautiful shower. The front office was nice. Elevator was quick. No problem with parking there was plenty. We will definitely be back.

Nice short stay

Overall it was nice. The elevator was broken but we were told in advance and given the option to cancel. Holly was easy to get ahold of and she was very informative. The only complaint i had was one of the beds was noticeably not clean. Other than that it was a nice place and well decorated. The pics were accurate.

I’m happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. My cleaners changed the beds and could not understand how sand got in there. Probably the spread was dropped on the floor and was transferred to the bedding. Sand has a way of getting everywhere! They did offer to go by and change it out but you had already changed it yourself. I’m sorry it happened but hopefully this is a learning lesson for the cleaners.

Cleanest condo I have ever rented.

We had a wonderful experience!! The condo was super clean, and it had everything we needed. Holly is amazing! She not only answered all of my questions immediately while we were there, but she responded to a question about the comfortable mattress in the master bedroom after we left. (My husband and I have back problems, and we had the best sleep we’ve had in a long time.) In addition, everyone at Summerhouse was so helpful!! I am sure we will be back again.

Cannot say enough about our unit or host. With that being said, Summerhouse resort has really gone downhill...besides elevator not working, outside door to the pool didn't work one day, a pool was closed our last day. Really a bummer for the kids with us that couldn't go in the ocean.

The door is a first as far as I know, occasionally one of the pools has to be closed for a variety of reasons, and the elevator is repaired although the needed part was delayed. Loved the room & all the extras it has!

The room was great! The only issue we had was with Summerhouse it’s self . The hot tub made a terrible noise the entire time we were there, so much so that we didn’t get in it. Then, I believe their was a gas leak and the area by one of the pools smelled terribly of gas . The front desk couldn’t tell us what building our room was actually in.. there’s 3. We finally picked the right building on the last try . And finally the elevator was out a few times during our stay. The owner of this condo was very helpful though. I would stay here again just because she was so helpful and the room had so many extras! We loved playing UNO at night! We didn’t play any other games but there was so many to choose from!

Thank you for the the personal kind words. I am very sorry for the issues you had with Summerhouse. Although the staff should know which is the A building, I will update my check in document to make sure it is clear 405 A is the center building. We are already in the works for a new elevator. Four years later, from hurricane Michael, we along with many are still in a recovery process. Fortunately we are very near completion! We attend our annual HOA meeting next week and will address all concerns. I look forward to having you back and I’m always available if you have questions.

Amenities & More

This was honestly one of the best condos we’ve stayed in on the beach. The owner was super easy to work with and quick to reply to any questions. The condo was immaculate and clean. This owner does so much for her guests to make it feel like home away from home. Each shower had a filled dispenser of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There was hand soap and dish soap in the unit. There’s an entire closet full of beach accessories, including a big cooler bag, beach wagon, 2 styrofoam coolers, 3 or 4 folding beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, games and more!! (plus the unit comes with 2 rental wooden beach chairs and an umbrella!). There were laundry detergent, sanitizer, and dryer sheets in the closet. We were so thankful we left what we brought to pay it forward to the next guests of this owner. All this to basically say BEST VALUE ON THE BEACH!!! I highly recommend this unit and we will stay here again in the future.
