Perfect getaway
My family had a wonderful time at the Village of Baytown Wharf. The location was perfect and right at the entrance of all the shops and restaurants. So many activities for kids as well as fun for adults. Perfect weekend getaway! Crowds and waits can get long so try to make it a point to arrive for breakfast, lunch and dinner a little earlier.

This two bed studio was very clean and fresh smelling. The only cleaning issue was the ceiling fans blades were not clean (very dusty). Great location to the Wharf area. The only recommendation is to add a chair for seating other than on the bed.

Was an OK experience
Property was nice, surrounding neighborhoods were good. It was nice to have some events and activities on the campus. The problems we experienced included the codes not working for either the fitness center or the onsite swimming pool. We also had one night where the owner/guest parking lot was full. We attempted to contact both the owners and the property manager about the gym and pool access but never received any response.

I did not receive instructions prior to arriving so it was difficult to get to. You need a gate code and a door code that I did not know about. There was mold and a horrific smell that was called about day 1. The maintenance man came and painted over the mold. We could not open the windows to air out the room so the smell was with us for the whole entire stay. The management team thought nothing of it and said they fixed the problem. But I have pictures to prove otherwise. The hot spa did not work

Contacting customer service was hard and no return calls from management. The second day there we had no A/C due to a flood on 4th and 5th floor. Third day sent us to a hotel room from a condo so we lost food from the freezer. They brought 2 box fans up to us to see if that would help. They said they would compensate the resort fee and again no they did not give a penny back. I have to say the Resort was beautiful and the flood wasn’t their fault I just think they could have got us another place the first day there instead of us staying hot at night.

Arrived to a room with dishes, dish soap etc but NO SINK! Broken Microwave (finally replaced on day 3) Freezer did not work(never even tried to fix) and BLACK MOLD on the ceiling (took three calls and two days for the to come bleach it off) left a hole in ceiling where black mold could still be seen up in there. Pool area was not clean. Chairs need to be pressure washed and water in hot tub had trash in it every time we went down there. Extended our stay an extra night but when we returned from the beach that day we couldn’t get I. The room because code had been changed( poor communication) we have stayed other places in the village area and been please but this place was closer to the little town so we tried it out! NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL! Never so much as an I’m Sorry for the problems etc….

Few Issues with Room
Our overall impression of property was good but there was mold on the ceiling in one corner of the room, no plate in microwave for rotation, and the drain plug on tub was broke.
