The Space:

'Le Mer' is a Gulf-front 2BR / 2BA located at Emerald Isle Resort: 22 Via de Luna.

Unit #705, 7th floor

*Please note, Emerald Isle will begin a comprehensive elevator modernization project to improve the safety and reliability of our building’s vertical transportation system. The project is scheduled to commence on Monday, August 11, 2025, and will temporarily reduce elevator service to one operational elevator for the duration of the work. The project is anticipated to last approximately 28 weeks (through Winter 2026). Noise will be minimized during quiet hours, however we are unaware of the levels during the day or when they will be at peak.

Perfect location

Had a great time staying here with the wife. Place looked just as it did in the pics. Location was perfect- 10 min walk to Pensacola Beach’s restaurants and bars. Will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed this place. The beach access was amazing and the unit was really clean. Free beach chairs and an umbrella sealed the deal for us!

Perfect spot on Pensacola Beach

You can't beat the view from the balcony of Emerald Isle. Location is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants and the property is as described in the listing -- perfect for a small family or group.

Newly renovated with beautiful colors and furniture. Wonderful balcony. Walk to restaurants and to get groceries. Secure parking and building. Easy access to pool and beach. Would stay there again.

Spring get away

Our stay was wonderful, the condo was spotless and when we got there we receive the necessary email to enter the property and condo with no problems. Any needs that we had B&B addressed immediately. We will be back!

The condo was very nice and well prepared for our stay. We were more than comfortable in the condo. The pool area was nice and the beach access was convenient. The road construction outside the building made it inconvenient to get even down the road for dinner. With young children, walking along a busy road was not an option. The one negative about the building was being down to 1 elevator. With so many people checking in and out at various times and others going to the beach with their beach carts, we often had to wait through several attempts to get on the elevator. Just to get off of our floor could take as much as 15-20 minutes, especially if you had a beach cart or luggage cart. This should have been made very clear in the listing. It was unfortunate because we liked the condo and the area, but i think we will try somewhere else next time.

Beautiful View

This is a great condo - great location, clean, comfy furniture and amazing view! My husband uses a manual wheelchair which limits our options for booking private properties. This worked for our needs! The bed heights were great, bedsides and bathrooms had enough room to get in. The view was the best and we even saw dolphins one morning from the balcony!

Fantastic Condo

This condo was the best we have ever stayed at over the last 10 years of booking on VRBO. The beds and living room furniture we comfortable. We like to cook and the kitchen was well equipped with great utensils and cookware, somewhat a rarity in our experience. The location is walking distance to restaurants and fun activities nearby. We loved the floor to ceiling windows to look at the ocean and the short walk right to the beach everyday. We could not recommend this property more.

Front Gate Issues

We had a wonderful time, it was a beautiful place But ... the front entry into the gate was a hassle almost everytime. No assistance when needed help with the front gate. Often multiple cars waiting with the same issue.

Nice property in a great location. A couple of issues need corrected.

Really liked the location and property. Very clean except an ant issue in the kitchen. When I called the property they said they always have the issue and spray monthly. They did come out and spray but that did not fix the issue. We had purchased food that was ruined before we knew of the issue then had to keep all remaining food out of the kitchen during our stay. :(. Also no welcome packet so we could not access their WI-FI nor know what the discharge instructions were when leaving the condo. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Terrible management

This was our worst condo experience ever - Emerald Isle photos must have been taken when building was new. It’s now dark and crusty. Elevators are dark, small, and not ventilated. Pool lawn chairs are dirty and at least 20 years old. No umbrellas available at pool lawn chairs. They’ve got the place locked down like Fort Knox to the point it’s annoying just to come and go. Best of all, construction crews jackhammered for hours for 3 days! 3-4 hours each day for 3 days! Complained to BB management who did absolutely nothing - even sent them video of the atrocious noise. My 3 year old was terrified. On the 3rd day we’d had enough and left a day early. I will never stay at Emerald Isle or rent from BB “luxury” vacation rentals ever again.
