A very cute, newly remodeled house. Pleasant with a great view of the sound, really just a sliver of a view but very lovely. The house is very small with one small bedroom on first floor, and larger bedroom in basement. A/C all around and large screen TV's in each bedroom and living room. It's on a smaller corner lot so people can look in easily. Not a problem for us, since the window shades operated easily. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Landlord was accessible.

Perfect Stay

This was the perfect space for our little family. Close to the beach, our favorite neighborhood, and the owner was the most responsive and helpful host we’ve ever had. There was even a software glitch with VRBO, and the owner went out of their way to contact VRBO and then VRBO called me (yes you read that right, they called me) to make it right. This house had excellent AC (hard to find in this area of the US), a set up kitchen, great outdoor dining, and more. We’ll be back! Thank you, Adel!

The property, was as advertised. Wake up every morning and look at the ocean. Adel was a great host and followed up to ensure everything was excellent. The house is immaculate and perfectly located.

Fall Getaway

The property and location were perfect for our fall getaway with our small fur baby! We enjoyed the clean, comfortable accommodations, as well as, our frequent strolls with our family dog, Oliver. The surrounding views and sounds were very beautiful and relaxing. We were even treated to the sights of seeing the Aurora Borealis one night! As The Griswold Inn is one of our favorite places to visit, it was only a 10 minute drive away. We would like to come back someday! Linda

Just right

Very comfortable home. Perfect for two couples. But I think it’s too small for six comfortably. Great location. Access to the beach is across the street. Loved walking the neighborhood.

Weekend stay

The cottage was accurately described and in a very nice location, steps from the beach. Only thing we thought needs attention is the ceiling vents were quite dusty and need a good cleaning. Other than that we were very pleased with the accommodation.

Great vacation home!

Adel was wonderful! Instant response to any questions. House is very clean and every thing you could possibly need is available. Beach was just a few steps away, great area for fishing and swimming. Beach was quiet and a great place to read a book for hours! Beach chairs and towels provided was a huge bonus. Would absolutely stay again and recommend.

This house couldn’t be better located. You are 2 minutes walking to the small private beach. The house is very bright. It’s not a large house but it has all you need. Very nice host as well.

Family visit

This place is awesome! Great location with easy access to the ocean and main roads and highways. We were here visiting family and it made it easy to get around. The house is super cute and clean and true to the description. The hostess was extremely responsive and helpful - had great instructions. Will definitely want to stay here in the future!

Perfect & tranquil cottage at the beach

Absolutely perfect. Quiet neighborhood with less traveled road where people walk their pups, and just take in the scenery. Surrounded by very large beautiful homes, with direct beach access right across the street. Great views. Totally updated and huge TV’s with all the channels. Incredible host - this will be my new home away local. Thank you Adel.

Very nice, clean, great big tv's!, lots of windows... only downside was trouble parking 2 full size vehicles in the small driveway but that was the only problem- it was a good weekend!!

Relaxing getaway

Lovely beach getaway

A clean and well-kept property with easy access to a small local beach. Lovely setting and convenient for nearby villages and small towns. State Parks a short drive in either direction along the coast. Lots of shore and estuary birds to be seen. A helpful host.

Modern Cottage Charm
