Game day weekend

Great Stay in Athens

Loved everything about this property! Maya was an excellent communicator, location was close to campus, felt very safe, and the house was immaculate. The only downside we experienced was the noise coming from above...dog barking, and people walking around...but would definitely stay here again!

Our family came into town for our sons graduation. The apartment was perfect! It was very clean and roomy. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The trip was amazing!

The girls and I stayed in this house for a 21st birthday, the house was so clean I didn’t have any worries. The host had anything and everything if I forgot something and had all the information we needed right when we walked into the door. Maya was very easy to reach and responded in seconds. The beds were VERY comfortable and the bathroom was big, for 5 girls it was perfect! My only concern was the apartment is under where the family lives, I thought that would be a problem but they were the nicest ever.I didn’t hear a peep from them and they never told me I was too loud. Overall was very amazed and will definitely book again! Me and the girls thank you!!

Disappointed

1. No parking had to Parkon a narrow Neighborhood street. 2. No TV cable access in area. 3. Second bedroom was misrepresented on VRBO. Office was to be converted to second bedroom which was not ready. Host agreed to set up but since we arrived at 9:45 PM my grandson elected to sleep on couch. 4. No body soap in bathroom, I went out early AM to purchase soap. 5. Heard small dog barking upstairs a couple of times during the stay. Now overall a nice place, needs to be represented for what it is one bedroom well equipped, clean but owners need to be more attentive.

Hello Mr. Jim! I’m sorry your stay at the cottage did not meet your expectations. I am new to the hosting scene (you are my first guest ever), and I am very thankful to you for taking the time to provide detailed comments about your stay. I have taken all of your comments to heart. I’ll be sure to inquire in advance if the second bed is needed. I will also make sure to provide bars of soap, as I know now that some guests prefer soap bars to shower gel. Additionally, I will clearly communicate to our future guests that the cottage does not have cable tv service. In terms of parking, we do have a parking space on the property that is suitable for an economy sized car. I’m sorry I was unable to accommodate a larger vehicle. Lastly, I’m sorry that you overheard our family dog. She’s a very gentle and usually quiet dog, who my family adopted from the local humane society. I will make sure to note it in the description of the cottage to better inform our future guests. I really loved hosting you and your grandson, thank you for being our inaugural guests.
