This INCREDIBLE 5BR/5.5BA beach house is walking distance to the newly renovated OIB Town Center and Park (Summer Concerts!), island shops, restaurants, putt putt, Museum, pier, and direct handicap beach access ONLY 70 STEPS AWAY! This second row home with a private (optional heated) pool is positioned to capture ocean and canal views from the bottom floor porches, kitchen and living room, sundeck, and top floor porches. NEW 2022 OUTDOOR BAR/65” TV/ISLAND SEATING by the pool great for entertaining!

5 Bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom, 1 powder room, and an outdoor hot shower make up the home. It INCLUDES ALL PRIVATE IN-HOUSE LINENS/PILLOWS/TOWELS sleeping 15.

2 King bedrooms, 1 Queen&Double, 1 Double&Twin, a Bunk room with 2 Bunk Beds, and 1 sleeper sofa in the main area.

This well-appointed home offers AMENITIES GALORE including an Elevator to all floors, large/open concept living, AMAZING KITCHEN with TWO refrigerators and TWO dishwashers, wet bar, dining area (with dining for 12-14 and bar stools around the kitchen island), and laundry room. The first floor provides a second sitting space/tv so your guests can spread out and relax. TVs in all bedrooms except bunk room. Keurig & coffee pot, crockpot, wireless charging station, and Wireless Internet access are a few just a few other things to make you feel at home.

Outside you will be able to capture the ocean breeze from the covered decks galore, sundeck, and pool area. Dine al-fresco on the sun deck and enjoy the evening on cozy chairs listening to the waves crash. ***NEW IN 2022, BLEND YOUR FAVORITE DRINK AT THE BRAND NEW OUTDOOR BAR AND ISLAND OASIS WITH SINK, 65 INCH TV, OSCILLATING FANS AND PROPANE GRILL. By the private pool are pool loungers, a pool room with beach/pool toys, and an enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower. The pool can be heated (Sept-Nov, March-May) for $150 per day.

We loved our stay here! The location is amazing on the island. The house is very well kept and the owners put a lot of love and care into the house. Amazing Beach Trip

Our stay was amazing. Perfect location with beach access just steps away. Playground, shoppes, and lots of restaurants within walking distance or on golf cart. House was really clean and kitchen was very well stocked. Plenty of books, games, and puzzles as well. The pool and tiki bar with tv was perfect to hang out in everyday after a day at the beach. The shed had everything and then some for the beach and pool. Samantha is great! Excellent communication! We will definitely stay here again if we go back to Ocean Isle Beach.

The Perfect Large Group Getaway

We had an amazing time celebrating my father's 95th birthday party here. The kitchen is a dream for cooking and setting up food for large groups - 2 frigs, 2 dishwashers and fully stocked cabinets with 2 sets of everything. The rooms are large and pool and tiki bar is perfect for entertaining. I look forward to returning one day.

Family friendly and close to the beach

This is a fabulous house. It’s extremely close to the beach, despite not being beachfront. The property is clean, the owner is friendly and extremely communicative, in the pool area is great. As a bonus, the kitchen is large with two fridges and two dishwashers, which was extremely helpful.

Wedding weekend get away

One word…amazing! More details…great communication, beautiful decor, amazing endless outdoor space, short (2 min) walk to the beach. We enjoyed the upper deck every day even in a tropical storm. The Tiki bar was a great location for hosting visiting family and friends and so fun for Thursday and Sunday football! Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The best beach getaway

Myself along with 12 other ladies were absolutely blown away by this property. 2 blocks from coffee, across the street from the ocean and just all around beautiful and clean property. Samantha was more than helpful when we needed something and I cannot recommend this place enough, especially for a large group. Tv by the outside bar, towels & beach chairs included, 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators were a super big plus for our bach group!

DISTANT WAVES

I loved how the directions to enter the property was easy. Once inside we were overjoyed. The house was very clean the kitchen was well stocked. We really didn’t get a chance to enjoy the outside bar like we wanted due to the weather. Looking at the ocean view from the balcony or inside was beautiful. Girls Weekend!

Samantha's house was the perfect long weekend for 11 of us girls to celebrate! The house was very clean and stocked with everything you will need for the perfect low key girls weekend! We loved how there was plenty of spaces for everyone to hang out in the living room, and it was open flowing in to the kitchen for our entertaining. We were steps away from the public beach access, there was ample parking for 7 vehicles. Samantha gave us some fabulous recommendations and was very involved with us. While the pool was chilly from being in the shade majority of the day, the pool bar and pool deck furniture were great for hanging out and having a few drinks! We all loved our stay and we cannot wait to come back to OIB!

Beautiful beach house!

Extra Innings is one of the nicest beach houses we’ve ever stayed in. It was clean and comfortable and very welcoming. Our host Samantha was wonderful to work with and provided a packet of helpful information ahead of our visit which made our check in, stay and departure very easy. When we arrived we found lots of additional information about OIB and the surrounding areas. The house is beautifully decorated and the hosts have thought of everything with a well stocked kitchen, a closet full of games and puzzles, beach chairs and beach gear including beach towels if you need them. The beds were already made up for us and are very comfortable. Each bedroom having its own bathroom is really convenient. The House is located a short 3 minute walk to the nearest beach access which is also handicap accessible. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful decks and spending time swimming in the pool. We also appreciated the elevator, especially when loading and unloading the luggage. Our group of 6 “mature” ladies (sisters and cousins) had a wonderful visit and we would highly recommend Extra Innings and hope to rent this beautiful home again in the future.

Truly Wonderful Christmas Week at the Beach!

We have to say upfront that Samantha was great. We've done several rentals over the years and she is the most responsive, helpful host we've ever had. Now for the property - it was amazing! The location is across the street from the beach access. Other than the beach, you can walk to everything: the quaint coffee shop, the park, shops, the wine/beer bar, restaurants, put-put golf, the pier, and the arcade, etc. It is a 3min drive from Publix and Lowes grocery stores. Other than gathering food and drinks, we really did not have to leave for our entire stay. Fortunately, the weather was warm enough for us to use the tiki bar and watch bowl games out on the pool deck as we grilled up burgers and dogs. We used every single one of the multiple decks on the home to watch sunrises and sunsets, relax, and to enjoy the ocean and canal views. It was delightful. The weather was a little cool for the pool though, although Samantha would have heated it for us had we been brave enough to go from the pool to the inside (our more adventurous teens did a polar plunge in the ocean though!). We had access to the outdoor shower and the outdoor storage closet with great comfy beach chairs, beach toys, floats, etc. Inside, the home is clean, organized, well-stocked, and supremely comfortable. The elevator was super convenient for loading and unloading, bringing up groceries, and allowing our older parents to avoid the stairs. Speaking of groceries, we will never rent another vacation place that doesn't have two full-sized refrigerators and two dishwashers like this one. What a difference that makes for large groups and holiday meals. The kitchen had everything from a crockpot to a coffee grinder and all of the kitchen tools we needed. Even the plates, mugs, and flatware were great. Beds were very comfortable and the linens were soft and cozy. We used the common area on the second floor to set up the boys video games and that worked great. The internet was smooth and the Rokus gave us access to all of the TV we needed throughout the house. Overall, we immediately felt welcomed and like we were coming home. Samantha answered all of our questions and helped with whatever we needed. We can't wait to return!

Lots to Love

We had a great stay at Samantha's beach home and believe we were among the first renters after purchase of the home. Our group included 4 adults and 3 toddlers (3, 2, and 1). Our favorite things about the house: -Samantha was accommodating, communicative and helpful with all our questions and requests. -The location is great, right across the street from beach access and an easy walk for the Island's best coffee @ Drift. -The house and furnishings feel new, clean, and well appointed; the couches and chairs were comfortable and the patio furniture was higher end - we spent most of our nights hanging out there and hearing the waves crash across the street. -Having two fridges and two dishwashers is a huge plus and the kitchen was well stocked and organized. -The elevator was great for loading coolers and heavier items in and out. It was a little tricky to get the hang of but erring on the side of security is a good thing! The phone casing does need to be repaired. -With 3 toddlers, we had exactly 0 falls, bumps, spills, or incidents. A+ for childproof layout. -Upper level living/dining area was super conducive to socializing and hanging out while cooking, eating, etc. Some things we noted that could make the place even more of a standout: -There was a general lack of hooks, towel racks, shelves and counter space in the bathrooms making it hard to fully unpack - A couple more kitchen towels and hand towels in the powder room would be great -A few more trash can liners, toilet paper and paper towels -The lower level king room was a pretty tight squeeze. Totally fine for sleeping and bed was very comfy, but we had to keep our suitcases in the closet or the living room and couldn't use most of the dresser as several knobs were broken -An outdoor bin to store the cushions of the lovely patio furniture would be great, they got soaked in the rain and we had to wait an extra day for everything to dry out -Hornets nests (inactive) -A few of the blinds/shades have broken cords so we had to sneak under them to use the lower deck door -The cleaning service was not very thorough (this is no fault of the owners); there was still noticeable sand on the floors when we arrived and under/behind most furniture was quite dusty We did NOT alert Samantha to any of these items as we didn't see them as urgent - merely leaving as suggestions bc this place was really great and with attention to a few details would make it a knock out!!

We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay; you indeed were our 1st guests. I appreciate your review and critiques. I’d like to touch on each one of your suggestions: 1. We’ve added hooks and/or towel racks to each bathroom. 2. 6 kitchen hand towels and 17 hand towels for the house are provided. 3. As stated in the contract and welcome letter, we provide a starter paper towels, toilet paper for each BR, trash can liners for each trash can, dishwasher tab, laundry detergent pod, & dish soap/sponge and you are to bring the extra. 4. We have ordered luggage racks for each closet. We will replace all of the knobs on the dresser as we noticed one is stripped and one is missing but each drawer is still completely operable. 5. Unfortunately, the upper porch patio furniture you are referring to does not have removable cushions to store away. 6. The hornets nests have been removed. 7. All the the blinds in the house have been repaired and are fully operable. 8. I, myself, pulled out every bed, dresser, and piece of furniture and thoroughly cleaned following your review. I have addressed all cleaning concerns with the highly rated private cleaning company we’ve chosen to help us. Along with accommodating guests requests like the baby gate, 2 feeding chairs, late check out at no extra charge you requested, and gift basket including a Drift gift card/bath and body works soap/extra check in goodies, we hope that all of this helps and makes our home a 5-Star knockout!

Excellent home for large family with various ages

Extra Innings is a wonderful home for a large family of various ages. Samantha has everything you need from infants to seniors. Easy to communicate with should you need anything. Ocean Isle beach is the best!

Don't over think this one and book it!

Samantha was great, the house is amazing and location can't be beat! I could see this home being extremely accommodating for family's of all types. Perfect walk to the beach (provided beach chairs are great!), easy stroll downtown or hang out back at the pool. You'll feel like you're staying at a resort!

Accommodating

Our family has been renting house at Ocean Isle for 15+ years. This was the most accommodating home we have stayed in. The owner went over and above. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Fabulous Home

We stayed for my best friends bachelorette party! It’s a gorgeous home, very clean and well stocked with the necessities. Great location and a short walk to stores, restaurants and the beach. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking at the area. Our host was very helpful and accessing the home was super easy. The 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers were a dream. We had a beverage refrigerator and a food refrigerator. We all enjoyed the place so much! Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us!

Extra innings was a HOME RUN!

The home is beautiful and CLEAN. My husband watched his Atlanta Braves at the bar as the grandchildren played in the pool. Easy beach access, multiple decks and porches to relax on. Owners have thought of everything. Excellent overall.
