Large Home with Beach Views and Pool and elevator

Large 5 bedroom/5 bath home with amazing ocean views. Home sleeps 15 with inverted floor plan . Our house includes everything you need to have a memorable relaxing week at the beach.
The incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean and beach from the kitchen, great room and master suite and bedrooms. The house has multiple covered decks that you can enjoy the ocean views. There is a fenced in private backyard pool that can with an outside shower with hot and cold water. There is an elevator if needed.
The reversed living house plan has views for everyone to enjoy. Go to the roof deck and enjoy all the water views. This large sun deck has completely unobstructed views of the entire island.
The gourmet kitchen has full ocean views and everything you need including two refrigerators/freezers with icemakers and convection oven. The open floor plan allows everyone in the kitchen to enjoy the entertainment of the great room, large screen TV and fireplace.
The first level of the house has three bedrooms and a laundry room with H/E oversized washer and dryer. The master suite includes a king bed, TV , master walk in closet and opens to the deck with ocean views.
The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin bunk beds with two additional trundles sleeps 4 people opens to the ocean view deck.
The third bedroom includes a full size bed with twin trundle sleeps 3 and opens to the rear deck overlooking the pool. Each of these bedrooms include private sink/vanities and a large shower garden tub.
The second level has two additional bedrooms. Bedroom 4 has a queen bed sleeps 2 private bath and shower unit and deck overlooking pool. The 5th bedroom has a queen bedroom sleeps 2 and connects with a tub/shower unit.
This house is a one of a kind for Ocean Isle Beach.
Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing island with clean sandy beaches and a quiet family oriented atmosphere. This island is the perfect place to enjoy biking , jogging , kayaking or the latest best seller .

Amazing Beach Home!!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful beach home! The house is spacious, clean, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. The location is absolutely stunning with a truly unobstructed view of the ocean — we spent so much time just soaking it all in. Inside, the home had everything we needed to feel comfortable and cozy, just like being at home. From the fully stocked kitchen to the thoughtful touches throughout, every detail made our stay that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind by the sea!

Relaxing Week with Beautiful Location

This property was great. Just one row off the beach but a real short walk to access. Beautiful views of the ocean with no homes in the way. Property manager was great and accommodating with the little changes we needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The house had everything we needed, plenty of space (there were 7 of us) and was very clean! The owners were very helpful & responsive. We would definitely recommend this property & would absolutely stay again! Thank you for a wonderful family getaway!

Owner is extremely nice and very responsive to any concerns. The house is worn. The out door furniture needs to be updated or replaced. The elevator needed to be reset several times and not for user error. Some of the call buttons did not work. The view is gorgeous. We just wished that the house was as in good as shape as the photos.

The house was in a great location on Ocean Isle! The view of the beach from the upstairs kitchen/ living area and the front decks of the ocean was beautiful. I loved how much light and view you could see inside with all the windows. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch drinking our coffee in the morning. We were one street back from the beach but it felt like we were right on it with the views and not really any houses in front of us. We liked how close we were to beach entrances as well. The house was clean- but some things on property were just scattered around when we arrived, like old shoes, beach items, and the back area where the pool was -it just felt a little unkept, but I’m sure it was from the previous guests. It’s also a little older of a home and in areas feels somewhat worn. On the whole we enjoyed our time with family and appreciated the house and space.

Beautiful home at a beautiful location! The home was a perfect fit for our family. We enjoyed the beach in the morning came back and enjoyed the pool and then could enjoy the beach again from the big comfortable porches. We rocked our two year old to sleep almost every night on the porch listening and watching the surf!

Wonderful Beach House!! Will rent again!!

We had a great vacation. The view was amazing. It was so nice to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings sitting on the deck looking at the ocean. Actually we spent a lot of time on the deck just relaxing. It was just a short walk to the beach access. The pool was also nice to play in when we weren’t on the beach. The elevator was so helpful. We took my 80 yo mom and aunt and it was easy access for them!! Will rent again!!

Great spot

This was a great home and clearly well maintained. There was some wear and tear to the patios as expected near the beach with high winds and salty air but the boards on the front porches look like they have just been replaced. The kitchen was well stocked, bed rooms were nice and we didn’t see any bugs inside during our stay. Pool was clean and heated outdoor shower was a plus. Easy and quick access to uncrowded beaches and a wonderful view!!!

Relaxing

Our stay overall was great. Couple areas in the bathrooms needed a little more cleaning but mostly very well maintained. The top sundeck was off limits due to needed repairs and the pool had a leak somewhere per the maintenance, so we had to keep adding water but not really a big deal. They came and checked the pool a couple of times too. We really enjoyed the quiet environment. A great place to enjoy the beach if you like it quiet but plenty of things to do within driving distance as well.

Great location, spacious house, nice pool!

Prompt and informative communication with owner. Very spacious and clean house, love having 2 full size fridges and microwaves! Very well stocked kitchen, good towels and bed linens. Nice balcony area and pool. Very close to beach access but nice to be further down the street where the beach isn't quite as crowded. Comfy couch in main room, very nice washer and dryer, all appliances worked great. Only complaint was kitchen chairs need new padding. We would highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

The Sweet Spot

So many things go into attempting to select the best property to maximize your overall experience when going on vacation, this property checks alll the boxes! As soon as you enter the home relaxation begins. The design, flow and cleanliness are exceptional. But most importantly the views of the ocean are stunning. The front decks offer unobstructed scenery that quickly dissolves any stress you may have inadvertently brought along. The owner is more than accommodating, easily reachable and is very much invested in your experience. We will choose this home as often as we can to escape and rejuvenate!!

OIB Rental

Our family had a great time at OIB. The house was very nice & clean with great views of the ocean from all the decks. We spent a lot of time at the pool (which we heated) since the ocean was pretty chilly. We had a difficult time with the elevator and there are a lot of stairs. A few things did not work such as the toaster and extra refrigerator but it was not a big deal. The owners responded quickly to all our questions.

Good: size of house and location Bad: everything elseThe house could be beautiful but everything in it is extremely run down (don’t trust the pictures) and dirty. The kitchen was not well appointed and everything was in random places. There were cockroaches (inside) and a virtual plague of gnats (mostly outside). Furnishings need updated/replaced (i.e., 2 broken rocking chairs, broken baby gate). There was no propane for the very old grill and i was told that I would have to go get it myself (with reimbursement) because he didn’t live close by. The deck railings were unstable in places and had gaps in other places which made it unusable for our grandchildren. Lots of other issues. The bottom line is that I would not rent this place again which is a shame because the beach was fantastic.

Location was excellent, little town is also really great for shops, restaurants, bars, park for kids etc. Very convenient. The beach house itself was a huge disappointment. It was very dirty and run down. We had to wash all the cutlery, cups and plates before we could use them. The dishwasher wouldn’t drain, was in-operable. One of the bathtub’s would not drain. Backyard with pool was weed infested. Pool chairs were rusty and old, we did not want to sit on them. Cockroaches found in car port and dead one in kitchen. Ice maker did not work in one fridge. Carpet was sticky, floor was dirty. For the price, I would give the property a 3/10 and would not recommend!!! Location and view was amazing though. Family had a good time, just very disappointed.

Great and not so great

House was very clean and great view. Nice front decks but the back decks needed replacing. Wrought iron railing is not safe. Some rotten boards in decking and the “crows nest” needs to be taken down. It is an accident waiting to happen. The pool was nice, however there was a leak somewhere so had to add water each day. Dining room table, chairs and bar stools needed to be replaced also. But we enjoyed our stay with family but would not book again.

Safety concerns

The property fit our needs perfectly. The location is excellent, just steps from the beach. The views of the ocean were exceptional. We spent many hours on the deck, talking, laughing, and enjoying the view. There were a few negatives. The roof deck at the rear of the home is in dire need of repair. None of us used it at all, and it was definitely off limits for the children. The elevator was not working. This was quite disappointing for us as a retired couple, and we were fortunate to have our sons there to help bring our luggage up the stairs. One last concern is that the paved road ends and changes to gravel right in front of the home. People driving by are usually going too fast and hit the gravel at speeds too high which kicks up the gravel and causes loud noise. Overall, it was a good stay. I would return if the necessary repairs are made.

Excellent Family Vacation

We stayed here for my parent's 55 anniversary. We had our entire family (4 families). We absolutely loved it here. It was clean and beautiful. Reservations and check in and check out were a breeze. The home decor was beautiful. There were some maintenance items that needed to be attended to, like some broken blinds, broken patio chairs and loose boards on the deck, but nothing substantial. The pool and pool area was the best - it felt like being in your own little oasis. We spent a LOT of time here throughout the week. The view of the ocean/island was spectacular! You have to walk down a few houses to get to the beach access, but it's not far at all. We had some issues with the elevator. It is tricky to operate. But, once you learn how to work it, it does a lot better, but still not 100% of the time (it gets stuck on the 2nd floor sometimes, and won't come when it's called to another floor - but never with people in it). This was bad for us, as our parents are elderly and there are LOTS of steps. But, the owner, James, was very responsive and very easy to work with. There is a spectacular view from the deck on the roof of the house, however, the railings are not very strong, so if you have kids I would be very wary of that. All in all, we loved it here and had an amazing time, and I really loved the home and liked the owner very much.

The view!

The location for this OIB property was great. Only a couple issues when we arrived. The pool had not been cleaned so it was a huge first impression misstep. All surrounding pools were a pretty blue and ours was an unsighlty green. It was however quickly addressed the next day. Second, we had one mattress with farily bad staining, a mattress topper would have solved this, again first impressions. A new set of bedding throughout would have been perfect. A couple other items with old furniture and general cleanliness but we've come accustom to these things renting for the last 20 years. Functionally, a great house! Tons of room and tons of sleeping flexibility. It was pretty windy and cool during our stay so we spent more time in the house than normal but we were comfortable with a gourp of 11. Another couch in the living room would have made it perfect. Unfortunately the road out front is gravel so you get a ton of noise but the view compensates for this. You have an unobstructed 120 degree view of the ocean, beautiful! The elevator was great for transporting luggage and our "older" guests! A few updates and this is the perfect OIB house!!
