Welcome to unit #354! Our 2 bedroom unit features vaulted ceilings and wood floors. It boasts a downstairs bedroom with a queen bed, an enclosed loft bedroom with a king size bed and a princess balcony, a queen size sofa-bed in the living room, 2 full bathrooms with walk-in showers. Host additional guests on the queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.
The open concept living space, entails a kitchenette with a drawered mini-fridge, 2 burner stovetop, a dishwasher, and a microwave. Don't forget to enjoy the balcony and bonus window to watch the boats sail in and out of Round Lake.
It's everything you need for a weekend getaway!
The Edgewater Inn is located on north shore of Round Lake harbor and the Pine River channel with prime drawbridge views. Just a short walk to Charlevoix’s finest dining, beaches, shopping and galleries, the Edgewater Inn is an ideal location for a short getaway, extended vacation, or wedding celebration. One-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath units offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable home-away-from-home stay.
Each condo is individually owned and uniquely decorated. Stay in a different room every time or find a favorite. With 60 unique rooms, numerous amenities and a friendly staff, the Edgewater Inn offers business or leisure travelers an enjoyable place to stay in the heart of beautiful downtown Charlevoix. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, as well as a guest laundry facility. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was such a wonderful retreat for Thanksgiving weekend! We’ve worked with VRBO a lot, and have had a lot of great experiences. This one was right up there. The two-level layout gave us plenty of room to enjoy during a long weekend, and allowed my wife, me, and our adult daughter to have our own space. The unit was appointed very nicely, and very comfortably. The beds were excellent. The bathrooms were high-end bathrooms. Plenty of storage space. And what a great view! Check-in and check-out were easy. We’ll do this again next fall!

Excellent Choice for Charlevoix

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our location was ideal - right on the channel between Lake Charlevoix and Lake Michigan. Beautiful and so interesting to watch the different types of boats that came and went every day. We only had to walk across the drawbridge to be in the downtown area, with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. The unit itself was great and perfect for our stay. We also appreciated having the convenience of a front desk to deal with any concerns or questions we had.

My husband and I were traveling with my stepmom and the two bedrooms with full bathrooms were separate enough we each had our privacy. The front desk associate was very helpful when we checked in. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was nothing stated on the website when we booked that the building would be under construction during our stay. The workers started on the roof at approximately 7:30am both Saturday and Sunday morning of our stay. They were playing music extremely loud and it forced us to leave the condo during the day since it was so disruptive. While trying to enter the building, we had to walk through mud since the roofers had a ladder located directly in the sidewalk . They had the road parking lot blocked off multiple times with roofing debris on the ground. The pool area was out of clean towels and dirty towels covered the chairs and tables. There was mildew on the ceiling tiles and the men’s shower was out of order. The condo itself was clean. We were unable to use the balcony which we hadn’t been notified of prior to booking. There was trim missing from the floorboards. The view was great but I definitely think the construction should have been communicated to us prior to booking this non-refundable room. Extremely disappointed with the experience we had.

The weather was perfect for sking at Nubs Nob. The only issue we had were the out of control young kids next door that were running around inside their rental screaming and hitting the walls at 11:45 pm......other than that the condo was very nice. It could just use more dishes.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great trip the location of unit was perfect to downtown. Upon arrival front staff start off friendly. When getting into unit we realized quickly it was not the same unit we had selected. We decided it was not a huge deal but then found out that the freezer wouldn’t open. Front staff was then not wanting to help. They said they knows it was broke but didn’t get to fixing it. They offered to change our unit which we agreed to so then loaded things back together to then find out they said we can’t actually move you we don’t have another unit clean. (The complex was not close to full). It was still a good trip but for the money needs to have some maintenance done on several things in and out of the unit.

Great trip to Charlevoix

This is a great location in Charlevoix that is close to town and allows for an easy walk to shopping and dining. This unit has the best view of the lake and the bridge. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. There is no oven available which was not a problem for us as we had no plans for cooking on our vacation. There is a stove and microwave for re-heating things if needed. This is truly a great place to stay. We will absolutely choose it again for any future trips to Charlevoix.

Disappointed

The property we reserved and paid for had non-working air conditioning. It was very stuffy. We told the front desk and they gave us the opportunity to move two doors down to a unit with working air conditioning. That was good. However the new unit’s living space was smaller. The dining table was a high one with high chairs. The two bar chairs were high. The sofa and one easy chair sat VERY low. We are seniors with some mobility issues so other than the two rockers on the balcony, there was not a comfortable place to sit. In the second unit the main level bed was full of grit, the bathroom sink did not drain well and the screen door was broken and torn. To the front desk’s credit, they were polite and helpful. The second unit was offered immediately and the screen, drain and sheets corrected quickly the next morning. We were credited a generous, partial refund. We did have a knock on the door from the management the next day wondering why we weee there. They were going to rent out the unit but someone said it wasn’t empty. We explained. The front desk people had not communicated the switch. However we love the facility and will try again next year, just not this unit. We needed to be much younger. 😊 m
