We had an ocean/beach view from our balcony but the weather turned cooler than expected so we didn’t use the balcony as much as we wanted. Nice indoor pool and hot tubs. Location was on the north end of town near Ormand Beach so traffic was not bad. Restaurant and shopping is close. Communication with host was great, emails were answered quickly. We will definitely try this property first if we go back to Daytona Beach area again.

Working with Lauren and Bert was a put joy. Very responsive to questions. The condo was wonderful and totally as described everything worked great and was in very good condition. Had everything you needed for a day at the beach some really great beach chairs boogie boards a nice beach bag even a lot of great beach toys for your littles. From the listing picture of the property building/grounds, it looks like there is plenty of parking. However, the adjoining parking garage is dilapidated and closed, this looks like a permanent situation. Overall, it is an aged property that was once a hotel, now converted into condos. The balcony was about 2 ft wide. The common areas are dank and dingy. Carpeting in a beach environment is subject to mold/mildew, therefore odors persist.

Thank you for your review, however we are disappointed with the rating. With regards to parking on the property there is plenty of parking as noted in the arrival information provided. There’s a large adjacent parking lot next to the resort which has been recently resurfaced and open 24 hrs. There’s parking directly in front of the resort and also across the street for overflow parking. The parking garage is closed for renovations and will reopen at a future date along with other resort renovations in progress. .With regards to the unit, there is carpeting, which is cleaned on a regular basis, however, most of the unit is Tile. We have no issues with odor or mold in the unit because we constantly run the air-conditioning and also have a high-end dehumidifier that keeps out the moist Florida air. There is also an automatic air freshener that runs in the unit. We did not hear from you during your stay about any of your issues or concerns. We are always available via the app, phone or text for our guests should they ever have any issues. Thank you.

The hosts were prompt to communicate. The room was fine. I appreciated being on the 9th floor.Being wakened in the night with loud cars and a lot of traffic on the main street was not the best part of the location.It was also less than wondrous to be overlooking the rooftops and mechanical systems. Instead of hearing the ocean at night, we heard the constant sound of a/c units.Being just a pleasant walk to the ocean edge (sunrises) was really wonderful.

Thank you for your feedback. Being on the 9th floor provides a beautiful ocean view, but as noted in the listing, the unit does face south down the beach, so you do see the roof of the smaller tower and can also see the street. Being up so high, the wave sound is naturally softer the higher you go and traffic noise may have been busier since it was the pre–Bike Week period when traffic activity and visitors increase. We are not sure how you heard the AC units, unless you left the balcony door open. With the balcony door open door humidity enters the unit, which can strain the cooling system, and cause it to run continuously. We appreciate you sharing your experience, and if you prefer stronger ocean sounds or a direct ocean front view, we’d be happy for you to look at our Ocean Front Studio. Thank you.

Close to everything

We stayed here for a week and even with storm damage the beach is just steps away. We were able to do Disney as well a couple days and bed was amazing after a long day. So many great restaurants close by as well across the street from a Walgreens and publix. Would definitely stay here and will be back.

Great fully Equipped Apartment

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment! The communication from the owners was excellent, and they provided clear, helpful information that made parking and check-in a breeze. The apartment is fully equipped—no, really—it has all the comforts of home and then some. The location is perfect, with restaurants and bars nearby to suit all tastes. Highly recommend.
