Perfect for a place to hang out of the heat

My family and I just stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. The house was spacious and clean. It was so nice and cool and offered plenty of room for us to hang out inside when we wanted to get out of the heat. Communication with the owners was timely and helpful. We plan on staying here again in a month. Very happy to have found this place close to family.

This spacious home is in a beautiful neighborhood and was a wonderful place to stay. We spent the weekend with our kids & grandkids and everyone had a great time. The basement gameroom was perfect for the kids to play and the main floor livingroom/diningroom/kitchen had loads of room for everyone to spread out but still be connected. The bedrooms were all huge. We just never felt cramped even though there were 12 of us. The highlight was seeing deer and a fox stroll through the back yard. So great. Loved this place!

The house was perfect, plenty of space and stocked with everything we needed! It was in a beautiful area as well. It was so close to downtown and Arrowhead stadium. Excellent place to stay and the owner was so prompt at getting back to me. Definitely recommend and will stay here again if we come back!!

Clean but musty odor

This place is great, location, size, with stocked amenities!The place was clean, the only problem we had was that there was a bad musty odor that even with opening windows and airing it out would not go away. We mostly just slept there because all our activities were at our family's home in Parkville, but the odor was just an annoyance.

Beautiful Location~Spacious Home

The communication with the owner was prompt and easy! The home was perfect for our girls trip family vacation. With nine people, we had plenty and space and privacy. The home sets in a wooded area that is quiet and very beautiful. Definitely recommend for anyone traveling to the Kansas City area!

Spacious and clean

Our stay was great! The place was clean and more than enough room for our group of 3. The steep driveway was cleared after a storm but higher winds had partially re-covered it in snow. We were still able to get in and out safely, but it’s something to keep in mind if it’s windy after a storm. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great space

The house had excellent space for our large family. We had beds for everyone, which my kids were happy about. We had a large kitchen and dining area as well. I would say the house can sleep 11 on beds and a couple people on the couch if needed. The house did need a few things fixed, but we could tell it was a work in progress. Overall it was what we needed it to be.

Riverside house

The house was nice but missing some things that I've never seen before in a VRBO home. We had no washclothes, Kleenex, and no televisions in the bedrooms. No trash cans in the bedrooms as well. The house had very little furniture in the living room even though it can sleep up to 14 so most of the time we had to sit in the dining room chairs or the floor. The faucet in the bathroom was broken. The bunk beds were so rickety I made our childrenkids sleep on the floor on the mattreses. The bedroom door didn't close at all and the sliding doors in the living room were gapped open as well. The front door didn't close properly either. Overall the house needs some work. Some of the issues are a safety hazard. There were no child proof outlet covers. The doors to the entertainment center are not securely hooked on. My baby touched one and it fell off and hit him on the head. thsfloor. The house worked for what we needed it for but it needs needs some improvements done to be safe in my mind. The garage door didn't work and the ac was broken when we got there. The owner had the ac guy come fix it but I got the impression if that had happened and they didn't come fix it we would have had to just deal with it. We weren't offered any type of reimbursement for dealing with extremely hot temperatures the first night. My sister and her kids had to sleep on the floor of our room. I don't think we would stay here again or recommend it to anyone. The house is in a good part of town and the wild

the house was very clean and beautiful. host were very responsive. the only thing is we were under the impression the kitchen was fully stocked and it is not. there is barely anything in the kitchen. other than that, it was great!! worked perfect for my bachelorette party!!

Family friendly home

Nice place! Worked perfect for our group. Game room was a bonus! Only complaint would be that it was not stocked with many necessities. Had to make several trips to the grocery store for basics. (Salt/pepper, pan spray, kleenex, kitchen towels, washcloths and other items.) This was our first time ever renting a VRBO so didn't know what to expect. After talking to others I am told that essentials are usually provided. Also, parking is not ideal but they make it work.
