Marcy/Giant has everything you want for a large group or family trip to Lake Placid: 6-bed, 4.5- bath, 2 kitchens and 4500sqf, only a few min. walk to downtown, short drives to skiing Whiteface or hiking the High Peaks, and a beautiful interior. Consisting of three floors of living space with TWO fully equipped kitchens with TWO walk-in pantries, there is everything you need at this property and more! Additionally, a private outdoor patio lets you enjoy a fire with family and friends while cooking out on your private grills. Whether you are a large family, corporate group or wedding party, this is your perfect escape to Lake Placid!

This is a great property, with plenty of space for our extended family and very close to downtown Lake Placid. We really enjoyed our time at the house.

It was the perfect place for our large family. The kitchens were beautifully stocked with everything you need. It was an amazingly clean house and very kid friendly. We would highly recommend this house

Amazing weekend in Lake Placid

12 of us stayed here for the weekend and we had the best time. The house was much nicer and bigger than we expected (pictures didn't do it justice!) Location is perfect, we had zero issues, communication with the host was great/he made everything super clear. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Great Location & Huge Home

This is our second time staying at this property. We had a group of 12 and had more than enough room. The beds were so comfy and the house was very clean. The owner was very responsive when we asked if the driveway could be plowed. There are two master bedrooms which is nice and the location was walking distance to Main Street.

Great house right in Lake Placid!

What a terrific place to stay. It’s a block from the Main Street, with huge well-appointed bedrooms, a giant dining table with benches for big fun dinners and games, and a huge kitchen. Everybody had a cozy bed, and the bathrooms were well-appointed. Exactly as described in the listing, with a warmly responsive host who made sure we had a great time. The best family Christmas we have had in a long time. Thank you!

Wonderful family-friendly house in a perfect location to walk to town!

We had a fantastic stay at the March & Giant with a 20+ group of adults and kids! There was so much space and the house is a great layout. The house was beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you could need. The property manager was very responsive and accommodating. You could not ask for a better location, 3 minute walk to all of the Olympic attractions and restaurants. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back again!! HIGHLY recommend

Wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment!

My family and I stayed in 2 attached apartments and had an amazing long weekend. We were 17 people and 1 dog. The apartments were impeccably clean! It had absolutely everything you could want or need. There was plenty of room for all of us. The beds were very comfortable. We were amazed at the quality of the sheets, dishes, silverware, etc. Location perfect and was within walking distance to town. We also loved the deck with firepit and the grills provided. I can't say enough good things about it. The kids had a great time playing pool whenever we were in the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location in Lake Placid

We rented Marcy and Giant for a group of 13 adults and two puppies. We were able to open the units to each other - creating one large space. There was plenty of room for everyone - several comfortable seating areas, two kitchens, pool table etc.. The units are spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. There is a fenced patio that came in handy for us to let the puppies play. The location is great as it is a five minute walk into the town and to Mirror Lake where there is a nice beach as well as a sidewalk/ path all the way around it. Everyone was able to come and go as they pleased. The owner was excellent - very responsive. Only issue is that the air circulation was not great in the bedrooms - there are AC units in the living spaces and fans in the bedrooms but AC bedroom units would have been a plus. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home - Wonderful Location

We stayed with our children, their significant other and grandchildren. 19 in total. Ranging in age from 70 to 4. We rented Marcy and Giant. It was perfect. Plenty of bed space and the open kitchen, living, dining area of Marcy made our gathering time suitable for all. The furniture is very comfortable. All the bedrooms were large and I must say that the master bathroom of the Marcy house was huge! The shower was the size of the inside of a VW bug (lol). Although I wish there were lights in it. And a soaker tub - oh wonderful. Huge closet in most bedrooms and some hangers in each. The kitchen is well equipped. Next time I would bring zip lock baggies and/or leftover containers to bring things home in. There was plastic wrap so I was glad I brought Reynolds’s wrap. I left what was left. The outdoor bbq sitting area also meet all our needs. However, there is no outdoor grass space to speak of. Also the cushions on the furniture were damp. It’s to bad they couldn’t be put inside as not to get wet. The house is walking distance to the village of Lake Placid which is great. I’m not in the best of shape and it was easy for me and our 4 year old granddaughter made the walk, shopping and ice cream trip just fine.

Thanksgiving Family Stay

The property was perfect for our large family. It has a great lay out the a dinning table was huge. The location was also great. We could walk to town and the ice rink. Whiteface was just a short drive away. A good time was had by all. We would definitely stay here again!

Love it for a large group!

This house was exactly what our group of 20 needed for a long weekend! Having the option of multiple kitchens and laundry rooms was amazing, it is very clean and we even had extra beds. Highly recommend this place, especially if you have a larger group!

Great home and location

We stayed with a group of 14 (8 adults and 6 children) for a week during the Ironman competition. We rented the Marcy and Giant units together. It was great - plenty of space for everyone, all the kitchen supplies we needed. Great location, walking distance to the lake and town. Nice outside area, although a little grassy space for the kids would have been perfect. We have rented in the area several times and this is the first place we all agree we would rent again! Highly recommend.
