Experience the Beauty of Florida's Nature Coast from your private waterfront retreat!
Nestled in the heart of Crystal River, this charming 2-bedroom cottage offers a cozy and inviting retreat for your next vacation. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, grill, and all the necessary appliances and utensils to prepare delicious meals. Unwind in the comfortable living room, where you can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and catch your favorite shows on the smart TV with satellite/cable channels.

Venture outside and soak in the stunning water views from the porch, or gather around the fire pit for a relaxing evening under the stars. This cottage includes a small boat launch, available are 2 kayaks ( a single and a double) 2 canoes, a fishing pole for your outdoor adventure. We have a fish cleaning station on property as well. The cottage also features a game room with a bumper pool table/poker table, as well as a selection of games, books, and toys for the little ones.

Just a short drive away, you'll find the breathtaking Three Sisters Springs, the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, and the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, offering endless opportunities for outdoor exploration and wildlife sightings. With the convenience of a washing machine and dryer, free WiFi, and all the essential amenities, this cottage is the perfect home base for your Crystal River getaway.

Our family getaway to the Driftwood Cottage was excellent. The host had great communication and check in and check out was a breeze. The property was very well maintained with many amenities that the whole family was able to take advantage of. The outdoor space was excellent and availability to use the kayaks and canoes when we wanted was a big plus. Being a little off the beaten path was also a plus for us. We love the quiet and serenity of the property. Even though it felt very secluded, once you get to the highway, everything was easily accessible. We enjoyed family time in the game room on a daily basis. We were also able to prepare many meals there with the fully loaded kitchen and grill. We will definitely come back in the future. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic stay. It’s quiet, secluded and well equipped vacation house with all you need to relax and enjoy Florida: outdoor patio, hammock, kayaks, grill, play room, well equipped kitchen, AC, fire pit. We had a great, great time here.

It was pretty nice really. The property is large and the kayaks and canoes are good to have. The place is decorated appropriately inside and out to give you a coastal vibe. We liked it. The only thing i would say if i had to complain would be the misquitos were not a pleasant thing to deal with, but where we are from we are used to it so we dealt with it. It’s a good place to stay.

Both my family and a close friends family had a great time staying at this property. We had plenty of room to park both vehicle with boat trailers and Extremely convenient to boat ramps for shallow water fishing. The host Clara went above and beyond with communication and making sure we had everything that we needed! As a group that like to cook we enjoyed the outdoor cooking area! We will definitely be booking this property again!

Driftwood Cottage is a beautiful property! You can tell all the love and care Clara and David have poured into it; it's clean, well maintained, peaceful, quiet neighbors, etc. We enjoyed sitting in the swing chairs and taking outdoor showers (that was my absolute favorite part). The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook great meals! Beds were comfy and clean! During our stay, we had a box turtle and a red tailed hawk visit the front flower bed/bird bath and the cutest tree frog came into the closed in front porch! We also saw a raccoon running around at dusk. Tiny crabs live around the water and needle fish are neat to watch in the Ozello waters. There is so much to enjoy on this property - wildlife, amenities to help anyone relax, opportunities to explore with kiddos, and much more! It's definitely a 5 (if I could give a 10, I would)!!! Don't hesitate - book today!

This was a perfect 2 night stay. We loved how it was more remote. You can be in the backyard and sometimes here the neighbors but we never saw anyone. Super value. Beds were very comfy. Game room was awesome. Our son loved it.Very clean with lots of unique decor.Everything you need for a awesome stay.We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor bathroom was a bonus. Our grandkids enjoyed the game room/Florida room. We also enjoyed the screened in porch. We also made use of the outdoor kitchen. The outdoor living overall was great. We made use of the kayaks, the fishing gear and the crabbing gear. It was private and quiet, making it a peaceful place to relax. It was a great representation of living in the bayou area. There were two great restaurants nearby and many activities also close by. We really enjoyed the Ozello Air Boat tour. Clara and David's pride of ownership and attention to detail made it an enjoyable experience and made it feel like home.

Clara was sweet and quick to any question i had. The home was very clean and felt comfy and cozy a home away from home feel. We enjoyed every bit of the back yard , we like to explore. We went on a kayak paddle, and my son enjoyed catching fish at the point. We love this place , want to come back soon.

Hi, my name is Clara. I grew up in Essexville, Michigan but have lived in Floral City, Florida for about 30 years now. I have a husband and three children and several grandchildren now. I love fishing, kayaking, and anything to do with the water. I have created my favorite oasis that I am now sharing with you all. I hope you enjoy your stay and spread the word about my little piece of paradise that I like to call my Peaceful Driftwood Cottage.

The Ozello Keys are a string of Islands on Florida's nature coast that are fully accessible by car. Nestled between Homosassa Springs and Crystal River. I chose this place as a spot for my family and I to enjoy the great outdoors and truly learn what the Good Old Florida is like. I love this place because it is quiet and peaceful and there is a new adventure every way you look.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

I can catch redfish, snook, snapper, mullet, and more off a kayak or canoe in the surrounding canals. These canals surround 3 quarters of the property and leads right out to the Gulf of Mexico. There is a quick and easy small John boat launch right on the property. You are close to the Homosassa Wildlife Park, cute Eateries, Scalloping, Boating, Fishing, and more!!!
