You’ll love this private home, centrally located to everything when you stay at this zen space 2 blocks to the local bay beach perfect for watching sunsets or ~1 mile to downtown for amazing food, drinks, and dancing. It boasts a beautiful private backyard with tropical flowers and lizard buddies on the other side of the screened in lanai to enjoy after the 🏖 beach day.

The property could use a little TLC. Back yard had dog poop and broken pots piled up. Screen had patches of white tape covering holes.

Enjoyed our recent stay in mid December. House was clean and tidy, it's a 2 BR 1BA so bear that in mind. The bathroom is a little tight, home was built in the 50s so it's to be expected. Really loved the terrazzo floors. Location is fantastic, very convenient to the Ringling mansion, St Armands Circle, Lido Key Beach, and downtown Sarasota. Close to several highly rated restaurants and Bahi Hut which is Florida's oldest tiki bar. There is a small waterside park at the end of the street that's a short walk away through the lovely established neighborhood with lots of trees. Nice views for sunsets, although technically the park is closed it can still be accessed. There is a school across the street however we were never disturbed by any noise, the playground is on the opposite side. There can be some traffic congestion at pick up time but we never had any issues. You are also about 25-30 min from Bradenton and Anna Maria Island, and only a few minutes from SRQ airport.

The house was clean, easy to walk in to and use it like a home away from home. Also had a nice simple pet friendly yard. Sent a couple messages to owners who were quick to respond and helpful. Pretty close to a bunch of beaches also. All around worth it!

We had a wonderful long weekend here. It was quiet and peaceful and exceeded our expectations. The hour is clean and comfortable and very well-stocked with everything we needed. Communication with Kirby is easy and quick to respond. It's walking distance to the beach. The house is true to its listing--what you see in the photos is what you get. It's also in a great location and close to all the things we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is comfortable, clean, and well-equipped — perfect for a relaxing stay. Unfortunately, my experience was impacted by a misunderstanding with the host, who claimed I had brought pets and caused damage that never happened. I had photos to prove otherwise, and while the pet fee was eventually removed, the situation left me feeling uncomfortable. I’d recommend future guests take photos when they arrive and before they leave, just to avoid any misunderstandings.

Sarasota

Convenient to the areas in Sarasota we wanted to visit.Short drive to St. Armands Key, Ringling Museum, Columbia Restaurant, Shelby Botanical Gardens and the Linger Lodge. Neighborhood a little questionable and drive way was tough when pickup trucks parked right behind you on street. Otherwise the house was clean and mostly quiet neighborhood.

Cute House with perfect location

I'm not big on reviews, but everything was perfect in this home. Decor, cleanliness, kitchen supplies, appliances, etc... the minutes from a grocery store and only 20 minutes from Siesta. Kirby was great answering any questions, and they provided us with any info needed about the home on the kitchen counter. Absolutely great price for this amazing spot. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures, but the pictures they posted speak for themselves

Very Enjoyable!

We (and our pet) took daily bike rides and walks around the very nice residential neighborhood that is a few blocks from Indian Beach. We enjoyed eating at several of the local restaurants and is only a few minutes to downtown Sarasota. The private fenced back yard and screen porch was our favorite place to relax. Kirby is a very pleasant and responsive host. It was our first long term rental and it did not disappoint.

Great location and a very clean rental.

The Owner was very helpful, answered all our questions, and gave us some excellent suggests for activities and restaurants. The stay was very pleasant. Very nice screened in back patio which we could only use once due to the unusually weather.

Hidden Gem

The house affords you everything you could possibly want and need!! Then, outside of the house you have the closeness to eateries, bars, grocery stores, beaches, hiking, etc. It definitely is YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!!!!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We have come to the area for years but over covid spent a month in Sarasota exploring and riding a bike around town and fell in love with the little Goldielocks feel of the area ( not too big, not too small). The indian Beach sapphire shores area has a rich history and it’s got this jungle feel 2 blocks to the water with all these amazing huge homes but it’s a really old neighborhood so with all this lush overgrown greenery, it’s really peaceful and clean and nice. Being by the school ensures the safety of the area but it’s also really quiet and we don’t mind that at all and love wandering the hood in the evenings around sunset. It’s also super close to downtown and lido beach which is our favorite.

One block away you have this adorable local coffee shop/bookstore, a local bar with good food and fancy cocktails open until 2 am, and a Starbucks, Walgreens, grocery, dunkin all within 2 blocks so it’s walkable but not in all the busy areas and so it feels like you have the best of both worlds
