The cabin was stunning. Nick the manager was very responsive to my questions. The home was beautiful inside and the kitchen was well equipped. The 3 main bedrooms were large. The bunk room was a fun space- but we did not use as only 3 couples .

Great stay and location

This is a great pad. Stayed in winter with 2 families (4 kids and 4 adults), and the bunk room worked great, as did some of the kid friendly amenities. Lots of snow gear in garage and nice perks like SNO park passes and state park pass for the stay. Well equipped kitchen and living spaces. Easy communication and checkin.

Wonderful!!

The house was perfect for our family getaway. It is exactly as described. The kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of room for the kids to play. The hot tub was also a hit with the kids and very relaxing for the adults. We would definitely rent this place again.

Great Stay

The Hoopa Hangout was a great place to spend our Thanksgiving week. The house was in a quiet wooded neighborhood and was very clean and well stocked. It has plenty of space for our two families. The surrounding area kept us busy all week with hikes, frisbee golf, wine tastings, and exploring the lake. It is clear lots of care and attention to detail is taken to make your stay go smooth. We would highly recommend the Hoopa Hangout for your stay in the Arnold area.

I can’t wait to go back!

The Hoopa Hangout does not disappoint! From start to finish, easy to book, great communication with owners, and the cabin has everything you need. The house is clean and comfortable, you can really tell how much time and love was spent on this place. We spent a few nights here and enjoyed how close it was to Bear Valley and fun spots to grab a drink. The house is stocked with games for the kids, an adorable bunk bed room and so much space for multiple families. We will definitely be back!

Fun and relaxing

The location is quiet and nice to explore the big trees. The house is well stocked with games, hot tub, grill, a well stocked kitchen and foos ball table. There is an arcade machine full of games. Nice room. The pillows just need to be a bit firmer. Beds are comfortable. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Awesome vacation property!

This home is impeccable from the garage to the bathrooms. Very clean and updated, furnishings and appliances all look new. The hosts have thought of every detail to make the guest feel welcome and supplied many extra amenities. Thre is plenty of room for even a large family to be comfortable. The hot tub was a welcome treat after hiking in the beautiful Calaveras State Park. Nick, the host was very responsive to every question and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect vacation house!

My Family and I spent 5 days there and enjoyed every minute of it. The house was clean, well stocked and exactly as it was described. No surprises! We had 3 kids, 8,12 & 14 and they were never bored. The pool and rec center was great and we found a lake to swim in as well. Big Trees National Park was a fun hiking and biking spot. I would rent this house again in a heart beat!

Great Stay for All Ages

The main floor bedroom and bathroom was great for grandparents or folks with mobility issues. The loft area on the second floor was the teen hangout. The bunkbed room is oversized and doesn’t feel crowded even with four teenagers (15 to 17). Access to the Big Trees Rec Area with pools and snack bar was a huge perk. Plenty of room in fridge and freezer for food for ten people! Washer and dryer very convenient off garage. House has AC (!) and plenty of tower fans to keep it cool in the summertime. Lots of spaces for all of us to spread out and enjoy this quiet slice of the mountains. Will definitely come back!

The Perfect Weekend Away

The Hoopa Hangout was the PERFECT magical, snowy, and peaceful getaway for our family! We lucked out and had more snow then we knew what to do with, but the house had plenty of snow toys to enjoy. We cooked all our meals there and we had everything we needed! Fully stocked, nice kitchen, made it super easy. A few of our favorite things: the cozy wood burning fireplace, the beautifully decorated home, everything was super clean and new, the arcade games upstairs, the spacious layout, the stocked house with games, toys for kids, outdoor play (summer/winter) and the hot tub! We can't wait to come back to the Hoopa Hangout and explore more! We miss the peaceful quiet mornings, with a cup of coffee and the fire going. Would highly recommend to our family and friends!

Wonderful weekend at the Hoopa Hangout

What a beautiful home, one of the cleanest Vrbo’s I’ve ever stayed in. The whole house was so well equipped, my husband said a few times, there was nothing you didn’t have that we needed. The beds were so comfortable, even our friends kept commenting on how this was the nicest Vrbo they have ever stayed in. The kids had a blast with all the balls and corn hole that were available to use. The game in the loft area upstairs was a hit with the adults and the kids. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back to rent this place again, Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Fabulous!!!

We had the best time at the Hoopa Hangout! Hands downs this was the best rental property we have stayed at. The cupboards are stacked with all the essentials, there’s plenty of games to keep the kids entertained. The house is so spacious, clean and in the loveliest of locations. We’ll be back!
