A Week At Zoe’s

All family members enjoyed the house. Loved ocean front. Could sit on porch and see fireworks on the 4th of July.Everything was in good working condition.

Great Oceanfront home

We had a group of 10, and the place was perfect. Oceanfront is always our choice! Very clean, and all the extras in the kitchen to make the stay great.

We loved being ocean front! The deck was well furnished and a lovely place to relax. All the bedrooms have a private bathroom which is very convenient.

Ocean Isle

Our group enjoyed our stay at Zoe’s very much. The location is perfect - right on the beach - and we spent a lot of time outside on the spacious deck with ample sunny or shady seating. The inside of the house was comfortable and there was helpful communication from the property manager. Great stay!

Check in and Check out was very easy. The front door swells a bit with the humidity so it sticks a lot but still opens with a push. The management company (VROS) was very responsive and sent many text reminders for check-in, trash removal, Check-out. The owner however does not respond to VRBO messages. This was our 2nd time at this property and we will be back. The kitchen is very well equipped. The outside propane grill needs to be replaced but it was still usable. There are only 2 kitchen towels so I would recommend bringing some from home.

Beautiful view

We loved staying in this house. It met all of our needs as a group of 10. The private beach access and easy walk back and forth to the beach was wonderful so people could come and go as needed. House was very clean, which is important to our group. We have already booked this house for next year.

Zoe’s Was Great!

We rented the house for us, our grown children, grandchildren, sister, and niece for a week at the beach. The house was clean and well kept. We had a great time spending time on the beach and inside the house. The process of renting the house was very simple. There was ample space for all of us to be together inside and outside. The description was correct and that the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We worked some of the puzzles in the house and we used some of the chairs and umbrellas.The only minor criticism we have is that upon receiving check in info we did not know there was a storage room with a code which held the propane tanks for the grill, chairs and umbrellas. We had to contact the property manager to find out that information when we could not locate the propane tanks for the grill. When we inquired the response was prompt and helpful.This was our first time at Ocean Isle Beach and we hope to be back soon! Thank you!!!

Great location

Loved our stay at Zoe’s Family Ties. I went with a group of 8 adults, all family. The rooms were perfect for our needs and every bedroom had its own bathroom. Sheets and towels were included but the sheets were low quality and the towels were thin although there were plenty of towels for bath and kitchen. Our first night we noticed a few ants in the kitchen (not uncommon after the rain they had). We got some 2 gallon ziplock bags to store our food in and never had a problem with ants after that. The kitchen was well stocked. We ate most of our meals at the house. There is a propane grill that looks old but it worked fine. Propane tank was full when we arrived. There is a large washer and dryer on the first floor. Very convenient but a bit noisy. One evening we had trouble getting the front door to unlock and when I called the emergency number there was a quick response and he was able to help us remotely So we were inside in less than 15 minutes. He also came the next day to check on the lock and do some repairs. I would consider this very good communication. I will admit, prior to our arrival I sent an email to the owner and the property manager and never heard back. But I did receive plenty of automated text messages with all the info we needed so I wasn’t concerned. The property does not include any beach chairs/ towels/umbrellas and no bicycles. All are able to be rented prior to arrival but we brought our own. I will go back to this house again.

The Free Spirit

My family of ten, which included six adults and four children under the age of fourteen, spent a beautiful sunny week at this Ocean Isle beachfront house. The positives: ‱ The house is directly oceanfront with unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean and easy beach access via a private walkway to the beach. ‱ The house has a lovely, well-furnished outdoor seating area off the kitchen and living room and a similar seating area on the second floor. ‱ The kitchen has been updated and is well-equipped to prepare almost any meal at home. The dining room looking out to the ocean, seats eight comfortably. ‱ The bedrooms are large, and the furniture/bedding was good. ‱ The house was super clean. I would describe the home as a vintage beachfront property that needs a little TLC upgrade. The carpet in the living room is stained, and the carpets throughout the rest of the house are dated. While clean, the bathrooms (specifically the showers) probably need an upgrade. They look like original showers from the early 1990s. The shower heads in all the bathrooms need replacement. The outdoor grill, while working, is badly in need of replacement. Overall, we had an excellent stay. Again, I think a little TLC will go a long way to make this property pristine. One other point. The houses which line the beachfront in this area are no more than 30 yards from each other. We never felt our privacy was an issue, but beware of the potential for late-night loud outdoor music and parties fr
