We came for a wedding with our baby and this house had EVERYTHING! From beach chairs, towels, pack N play ect. It was super clean, convenient and easy to stay at this place. We would definitely stay here again!

Second year in a row staying at the Coastal Retreat. This is a very nice rental with everything you would need for your trip, and I mean everything! Very clean and cozy, we look forward to our trip next year to Venice Beach and I can so without hesitation that it will be our 3rd year in a row at this location.

This is a wonderful house located near the island, so it's easy to get to everything that's Venice offers. The owners were very responsive to our questions and we loved our stay!

A visit with the great grandparents!!

This is the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at— pictures told everything exactly like it was!!! A super setup for 3 adult kids each with their own bathroom— couldn’t have been any better!! And the kitchen—-wow— how great was that!! Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to a return trip!!

Serenity by the sea

New build property furnished to highest standards. Pristine bedding towels etc Toiletries in every bathroom provided.. Location excellent for beaches, shopping, restaurants, parks . Two relaxing outdoor seating areas, sheltered from view. We enjoyed two relaxing weeks here .Excellent WiFi and massive TV ( should you need it ) Communication with owners was excellent with immediate resonsponses. Would definitely book again .

Venice Beach getaway.

We were impressed with the property's exterior design when we pulled up, more impressed with the interior...and pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and "small touches"! It was like being at home, from a fully stocked spice rack, to dishes and serving sets, to coffee, water and even the basics of a first aid cabinet. Plus, the use of the beach towels, wagon and beach accessories! Our best stay in a LONG time! Highly recommended. We WILL be back.

Wish We Could Give a Better Review

The interior design is modern and upscale and we enjoyed the layout and the green space next to the property. We don't like to complain and let things go without mentioning and would have, but the disappointments keep mounting - among them: they did not honor our initial booking after accepting it; offered us a ferry pass to semi-private beach as recompense, but we never received; we sent a request to shorten our stay weeks before we arrived with no response of any kind; the property is on a noisy, busy street on the edge of a rundown neighborhood; landscaping was shabby compared to their photos, no inside access to the garage; floors were sandy when we arrived; living room seating was uncomfortable - brought in a patio chair to watch TV; and finally a month later they filed a claim on the damage insurance policy we had to buy for damage that was not done by us.

Modern home Venice

The property manager was extremely responsive with any issues. The home is extremely well stocked for all your needs. Parking can be a challenge and the road noise can be tough. We had a pleasant stay.

We enjoy the laid back feeling of Venice, yet are close to many cultural activities in the area such as the art culture in Sarasota and the flora and fauna of the Myakka area.
