Located in the heart of Oak Island - 'Eer by the Sea - check out the ocean views and listen to the sounds of the waves from the expansive front deck. Steps away from Beach access and Middleton Park with its free concerts on Fridays, Farmers & Artisans’ Market on Monday, playground and Splash Pad for the kids, Pickleball Courts, Tennis Courts and Basketball Courts.

House is fully equipped with linens, a huge, well-stocked kitchen, Weber Grill, beach supplies (beach chairs, wagon, umbrellas & sand toys) and family games for all. Pack 'n Play, Playard, high chair, booster seat and baby gate are on site for those with small children and babies.

This gorgeous 2nd row beach cottage is RECENTLY RENOVATED AND READY FOR YOU! You will feel right at home, but minus all the stress of every day life, as this home is soothingly decorated with your comfort and relaxation in mind. The calming colors throughout will not let you forget that you are on vacation to be refreshed, renewed and unwind.

BONUS - New Family/Game Room in the Lower Level provides plenty of space for all to relax and have some indoor fun in the evening or on a rainy day. Includes a ping pong table, air hockey table, dart board and lots of games.

No paid parking issues here - plenty of parking in the front and back driveways.

This is a great home with nice decor, comfy beds and an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen. Beach chairs, carts, and sand castle equipment are provided along with a gas grill and bikes. It was a family environment when we were there post-Labor Day, with lots of fishermen and women, and it’s an easy walk to the beach. We saw two baby loggerhead excavations while there, amazing.The upstairs/downstairs levels do not connect, but downstairs is like a clubhouse with ping-pong, darts, air hockey, TV, and games. There are front and back doors to that level just down the stairs. There’s also a queen size bed and second bath on the lower level, along with a big washer and dryer. We loved Oak Island—we went to KoKo Cabana near the pier, collected shells at the Point, and really enjoyed OKI Scoop Shop and Donuts, which is within walking distance. Get your seafood at Haag and Songs. This vacation home is very clean and bright—book it!

We had the best week! The house was clean, the kitchen had everything you needed to cook! The location was key for us, being within walking distance of a beach access and close to the shops! Our kids loved all the games downstairs! We would definitely vacation at this property again!

This property is very nice and clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Communication was excellent. Very quick walk to the beach access and plenty of beach equipment for our use. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Amazing Beach House

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. It was beautiful and very clean and had everything you could possibly need for a stay at the beach. Lori was great and very responsive for any questions I had before and during our trip. It's a very quick and easy walk to the beach. We would definitely love to stay again and I would highly recommend this house!

Very Clean with an Ocean View

My wife and I stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed this house. Everything you need is included. Huge sun deck & swings below deck. Spacious and open layout.

Great spot across the street from the beach

Very well maintained house with all the amenities you can need. Game room had everything set up nicely and everything properly done. For our family we could have used an extra bathroom upstairs and a connection between floors, but over all very happy stay. Stones throw from the beach and the kids had a blast!

Great, Quiet Location and Beach Access

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was just great. We were a couple of minutes away from direct beach access via a short walk. The beach was beautiful and peaceful. The house was clean and organized. All amenities were terrific, including beach chairs, beach carts, boogie boards, bikes, a ping pong table, and an air hockey table. We would definitely stay here again! .

Everything was great

The property is as advertised. Very clean, comfortable, extraordinarilly well stocked (the little extras, such as coffee k-cups, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, laundry and dishwasher detergent, etc. -- in quantities more than just "starters" -- are appreciated. And bikes and beach gear are a real bonus). The location is fantastic. We enjoyed two free events at Middleton Park, a 1-minute walk away. Pepperoni Grill, with the best pizza and calzones on the island, is a 30-second walk away. The beach is a one-minute walk, and the grocery, restaurants and shops are minutes away. Lori, the host, is always accessible and genuinely wants her guests to have a great vacation. This is surely among the best places to stay on the island.

Location can’t be beat!!

An amazing value! Walk to the beach and you’re right next to all the action, but the beach isn’t crowded!! This was our second stay! We brought our dog this time and she loved it. It was great to have the front porch which is gated, so she could hang with us while we have morning coffee. I love how big the kitchen is and the variety of beds arrangements for kids of various ages. This house is so kid friendly! My kids loved the addition of air hockey! They have a lot of baby/kid equipment too. This would be very manageable for families with littles. Be sure to check out the point—maybe rent kayaks! We love the Lazy turtle restaurant and visit almost every ice cream place. In Southport we love the sightseeing cruise (dolphins!), Smokehoise BBQ, Christmas House and ghost tour. Lori is super responsive. Would absolutely rent again!

We can’t say enough good things about our stay, the property and our host. The house was in great condition and had everything we needed to start our vacation as soon as we walked in the door. The property was within a very short walk to the beach access, our favorite pizza shop, farmer’s market and pickleball courts. If all goes as planned
we will definitely be back next year!

Fabulous house and location

We were so pleased with our stay here. The owners were very helpful and communicative. We had all the things we needed from toilet paper, to paper towels, to hand soaps and such. We enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey tables. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was super close to the beach also.

Best Beach house!

This house was awesome and made our stay at the beach great. Our kids loved the basement playroom with the ping pong and ice hockey tables. The house was clean and pristine and had everything we needed. There was a TV in every room which our kids loves as well. The host Lori was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly each time I messaged her with questions. Would 100% recommend this place and we plan to stay again next year!

Perfect location!!

If you have kids this is the perfect rental! Short easy walk to the beach, and so close to stores, the park, and restaurants. You even have some ocean views! We borrowed a golf cart from a friend and it fit perfectly under the deck, and there was a convenient exterior plug. Home is exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Kitchen and bedrooms are very large. Loved the ping pong table and having everything we needed for the beach. Everything worked well when we were there. Things to know—there is a towel and sheet service company so when you arrive you’ll need to make all the beds. Next time I would bring my own cozier sheets. But the beds are very comfortable!! Also, the downstairs area can only be accessed by going outside, there’s no inside stairwell. This location can’t be beat. Big difference not having to cross the one busy thoroughfare on the island to get to the beach and shops. You can walk just about anywhere you need if you want! It was safe and quiet. Only thing I would change is having some shade on the front deck so I could spend more time there! Shady for morning coffee tho!

Great Get Away

Great location, very well stocked house- all you would ever need is there. Very clean and well maintained. Close walk to the beach. Only negative was not knowing that the 2nd bathroom and shower was downstairs and only accessible by going outside and down to the basement. That might need to be mentioned in the description of the house. But- would still stay again.

Beautifully appointed with great layout

The house was very clean very beautifully decorated. The beds were extra comfortable. The kitchen was a breeze to work in. We didn’t find a single bug anywhere, which is a real plus as many houses that we have stayed in on Oak Island have had. I was in contact with our host Lori , who was so accommodating. We will definitely choose this house again if we do not have a larger group.

Extremely Clean, Modern and Pet Friendly

Had everything we could have wanted or imagined. Supplied with the best of items. The owners did not do anything cheap but went above what you would expect. The kitchen was our favorite because we loved to cook and it was great to have multiple people in there at the sane time. Each bedroom including the kitchen has large flat screen TVs, and Downstairs has two. We loved thar the downstairs was seperate so we could play games without waking everyone upstairs. You will not be disappointed. Firsr time visiting Oak Island and I could not have imagined a better place and the owner was on top of everything. I would rate higher than a 5 if possible.
